View 7 Repliesi have continued issues with delay on tests being delayed when sent from my 9800. support blames 'too many texts on device' [no] and recommends reboot to fix - it doesn't i have full signal when seeing the issue and a text that goes immediately is the rarity. BBM works fine. email works fine. calls work fine i feel it is the network - not the device running 6.0 bundle 882
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am now on my second BB9300. the first was brought back to Mobilicity corporate store to be sent in for repair. I had Texas poker, drivesafe.ly enterprise, weathertrax, gasbuddy, bubblebash 2 all were part of the complimentary gifts. I have uninstalled facebook, twitter apps. Taken all other languages off except english. Now I have even reduce backlight to 20% and turned off GPS. Leaving BB9300 inside pocket pouch just to test to see if it will last longer than 3 hrs. First day back it last 4 hrs. 2nd day last 3.5 hrs. It is almost as bad as my laptop Acer 5552-5686 which last 1.5hrs on 6cell battery. Does anyone know if I take out all apps then will it last longer?BTW poker game if I play two game which is about 20 minutes then battery life will be about 2 hrs. My question is what is the use of all these apps if you have no battery life. I cannot even use GPS?And to upgrade to another phone through their upgrade program after 3 months this one resale value is $50 how pathetic. I am going to test it for another wk before taking it back to Mobilicity for maybe a Samsung at least my last Samsung went through the laundry with extra wash and still work better than this crappy phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have htc maple with wind which was unlocked by wind,later I switched to mobilicity with unlimeted data plan,but the date wouldn't work with the maple phone I rested the phone hard reset several times with no luck,I tried everything possible -seting wise-but again no luck,under connection statuts it reads- driver is not loaded-what's the meaning of it? I contacted htc,wind and mobilicity no one was able to help me, have any one heared of this before and how to fix it(step by step) I upgraded to window 6.5 mobile but I think it was ereased when I did the hard rest,how to find out which windows mobile I have on the phone now?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9900 does not hold the MTN network.Every day (sometimes twice a day) I get an error message that says SIM not allowed - SOS. When I check my network it has changed to Cell C and I cannot change it back to MTN 3G or any of the MTN networks.

I can't set the network to H+ like 9900 from Rogers/Bell/Telus..Here in Indonesia, my carrier offering & provide H+ Network,but I can't change my unbranded 9900 network to H+..My friends also bought 9900 from Rogers Canada,he bring it to Indonesia, and he also used the same carrier like mine who support H+ Network..In his Rogers 9900 he can switch the network option to 3G/H+,he got H+ symbol at the signal bars, and he can enjoy the H+ network.My question is:Can I have the H+ network option in Unbranded 9900 ?So, I can enjoy too the H+ services on my carrier..Is there a difference between unbranded 9900 and 9900 rogers ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI found out that when I try to dial something in the "Phone" section (Phone icon), there is a sound - how do I disable it?Also I use a pre-paid package, when I check my fone balance, there is always a network notification sound that is REALLY loud (!) and there is absolutely no way to reduce the volume or make it silence.I work at office and I want to silence the key tone when dialing in Phone section, along as reduce sound or silence the network notification sound when check balance.Atm the only way is to switch to Silence or Alerts Off modes.

I have been through 2 wipes and 3 new sim cards in a month.This 9900 was sent to me 6 mnths ago from tech support as a replacement of a 9900 where the keyboard failed .My new BB worked fine for about 4 months. 2 months ago the I started getting a red "SOS" and sim card error.After several calls to Bell tech support and eventually to RIM tech support, I may be ready to give up. One thing to note I just figured out why i get the sim error. My phone keeps jumping ot the Telus network, Bell switched the newtowrk settings to manual but it keeps jumping.

Yesterday I synced my bold for updates and now facebook doesn't on my mobile network and only on wifi. How I can change it back so I can use my mobile network rather than wifi.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOur company was able to receive the new Bold 9900 but it seems there is an issue with activating wifi on the device. Have tried turning on Wifi, but it attempts scanning for networks then eventually fails and turns wifi off. It doesn't even list any active access points. Doing a battery pull and reset the device to factory defaults does not seem to do the trick. I am thinking it could be a defective device or perhaps a software issue.

I have the blackberry 9900 and want to turn off the network internet services without turning off the wifi function. My mobile carrier is vodafone and even when I am connected to wifi, my credit is being used up. How do I disable the internet function but still use wifi? When I try disabling data services, wifi doesnt connect at all?
View 3 Replies View Relatedi got a nokia n8 from singapore ....so it should be region free...n i got mobilicity .......the thing is that i can call people i can text ....i can use my internet browser .....but i can't use aplications that require internet !!!! for example a facebook app ...after i open it it says no connection ...even though im able to browse the web +_+.....is this a config problem or is it just because mobilicity is just incompatible with the nokia n8 ?

I'm an Australian based photographer and will be using the phone for business and personal use and have decided on the E models because of their apparent success with email and internet capabilities. Main uses and features I need to work properly will be:
- Pop3 email acess for Yahoo address (with email client installed?) (Email is a major priority)
- Web access/flash based websites
- Alarm facilities
- Calender/reminders etc
- Opening/creating PDF and Word docs
- Maximum battery life
- Speakerphone
- Facebook access
- Texting (this is why I'm keen on the qwerty keyboard)
I've heard a number of good and bad things about both models (there are a considerable amount of complaints out there about the E72) but I'm bot sure which to decide on. Do either/both of these models read flash based websites? Apparently the processor in the E72 is twice as fast as the E71? And the data connection is faster? I've also heard that the E72 freezes a lot and the spacebar hangs and the phone needs rebooting... Are these errors likely to be rectified when firmware upgrades come out? How do I know when upgrades are available? I havfen't had a new phone for about 3 years so I have a lot of questions! Where can you install applications from and what sort of apps are compatible with these models?
I just purchased this phone online through TELUS and am really excited, however I spoke with some mobility reps about when TELUS may sell the projector accessory but they have yet to be supplied any ETA from marketing. I've been looking everywhere on the net and cannot find anything about purchasing this, I know it is refered to as the "Pico Projector" but even EBAY doesnt seem to have this to buy.
I know Howard had the projector with the IQ he was demoing in his video, so why can I not find it for the life of me? Any help regarding this would be great.

It's not showing up in my iTunes, or anywhere on my phone. Only the free version is there. The only thing I can think to do is re-download the free version and try to re-purchase it, but the price has gone up from .99 to 6.99 and I'm not willing to pay the extra 7 bucks.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have purchased IM+ Pro for my Torch 9800. The process I followed is the following: On the mobile device, I went to BB App world, searched for IM+pro. Selected to purchase this application. After select to purchase, I was given a choice to pay with Paypal OR let my service provider bill me for the product. I chose the latter i.e. Service provider to bill me. App world then proceded to download the app to my phone. Unfortunately there was a break in the down load process and now I can not continue where I left off. When I restart the download from scratch I get given the payment choice again. I received an invoice from app world to my email address. I can send it invoice if you want to see. Do I need to pay for the app again?
