got my phone and came home to download a Costa Rica map so I could use the GPS.Guess what? Only few country maps are available trough OVI and Costa Rica is not one.Please what map format is needed and how to manually install it (steps), so I can try to find a Costa Rica Map and get it install.

My aunt who lives in Costa Rica wants me to find her a Nokia phone to replace her old one that doesn't work anymore. I researched the internet and found that the Nokia 2730 Classic will work in Costa Rica. She asked for GSM / Quad band and it seems like this phone has both GSM and CDMA and is a quad band phone. Can someone please confirm that this phone will work in CR?

I love these applications and I was using them a lot.
I can't turn on the phone because the phone stacks in a blank Nokia logo and then turns off. When I try to connect in the PC nothing happens and when I try to put the battery into the device. it turns on by itself and restarting sevaral times. I dont know what kind of problem I am facing.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 500 with Belle installed (vers: 111.021.0028) and Nokia Suite vers 3.6.36.On the 17.12.2012 I've installed the latest version of Romania maps: 00.02.47.103 and since then I get the same error message 'car navigation cannot start at this location'. I can access the maps, I get the correct position but the problem occurs when I try to navigate to any address. It doesn't seem to have an actual issue with the location because I've tried several locations in Bucharest and got the same error.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOkay i've had my Nokia n97 for more than 6months now and its been working great except lately my facebook app wasn't working and i had to update it,so last night i backed up my files on my mobile and i connected it to the pc and updated it with the program that the mobile brings with a cd it was okay then i went back to restore my files and it said it had to restart so it turned off and i went to turn it on again and it stayed a blank screen with the nokia sign in the middle in blue (when you turn it on it that usually shows) but it stayed stuck there it doesn't go to pin code nor anything, and to turn it off i have to take the battery off,

After update all messages are erased and she had important information there. I read in trouble shooting, that:: What should I do if the automatic restore of my phones content doesnâ work after I did the update to Nokia Belle and I dont see my contacts, calendar, bookmarks, etc.?A: The backup of your phone content is stored under C:Users[username]DocumentsNokia SuiteBackups and includes "Nokia_Belle_Update" in the filename. If the automatic restore doesn't work, you can try to restore your contents manually by opening the "Tools menu" in Nokia Suite and selecting "Restore".
I installed Ovi Suite on Mac and downloaded extra support for C7, but I couldn't restore that information. She never installed Ovi Suite on her PC. My question is: is she installs Ovi Suite for PC on her laptop, will she be able to restore old messages? I recently switched to Belle as well on my Nokia N8, but I'm not that crazy about old messages, so I haven't noticed it. I checked on my phone using Files disk C, but there wasn't any folders with my username.

- in-built integration to upload pictures to picasa and flickr
- in-built integration to upload videos to Internet
- an official app for Internet
- the nokia social app has facebook and twitter in it and absolutely no option to add any other services.

I cant scan phone memory of nokia 5233 using antivirus.when my phone is in mass storage mode via USB, it only shows Memory Card under my computer, It never shows phone memory.We also know that if we keep phone in ovi suite mode, it dont shows option to scan phone memory.

I've tried finding the private folder where the cache is-doesn't exist
It has something to do with the phone memory, can't find the cache/thumbnail folder there...
I just got my phone back today after being fixed so all my contacts are backed up to Ovi.When I go to sync them it says connection unavailable and when I try sync them from the computer it says it's only partially confisgured.Internet is working on my phone as I can sign into facebook and other sites I use a lot.

Over The Air, but there was no clear definition on how to do that, So I want to the other option, Nokia Ovi PC Suite. The download kept failing but it kept resuming when I tried to download the update again. After the download finished Usually you do not need the internet to install something that you already downloaded (Should Always Be Like That!!) So I thought that and while the update was installing Nokia Ovi PC Suite said something about Cannot Connect To Service, Although My Internet was PERFECT! and I tried to turn on my E63 and it would just vibrate and then turn off. I tried reviving it by leaving the battery out for 5 mins ( I also left it out for 6 hours) And when you turn it on Hold the Green Button Call And the 3 and the *. But none of that works, I wanted to send my phone to Nokia Care through Post But you need the IMEI but How can I do that?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought a Nokia 700 and for few days I'm experiencing this weird problem.Every single connection drops (3G, Wi-Fi and USB. Haven't tested NFC yet) at random times and I can't reconnect. It always says after that it can't connect and the connections are unavailable.After turning the phone off and then on again, everything is back to normal. I can normally connect to the 3G connection, Wi-Fi and USB.It's pretty annoying as I always have to restart my phone in order to connect via USB or to the Internet when it happens.Anyone else who is experiencing the same problem or has any solutions to this?
