I have an X6 handset. I am connecting the mobile to my laptop via a USB cable. I have activated my free music download account using the PIN that was messaged to me.Now when I try and download songs using the ovi music downloader, it does not get transferred. The error message says: "Transfer Complete: 0 of 1 songs were transferred successfully".

When my files were transferred my music did not go. Now every downloader I try to use says no search results. This is beyond frustrating considering the amount of songs I now have to find again.
View -1 Replies View RelatedWhenever i transfer songs to my memory card,I can see that thye've transfered but as soon as my phone has finished searching the card, the songs are no longer there.if i take my memory card out and open it on my pc it's as if they never transfered.It doesn't matter what method i use I have tried several memory cards that work in other phones and i have ensured that the memory card/ usb cable has been removed properly.

However, the phone does not recognize files when I go to Nokia Music application. Software says that all the Music "folders" (Albums, Genres etc.) are empty. I have tried putting the mp3 files in all possible folders ( music, documents etc) on phone, but no luck. I have also tried several different mp3 files.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a N97 running firmware v.21.0.045 and about a week or so ago I was forced to do the hard reset because the phone became so unstable. I left my E: drive (the mass storage) intact including all of my songs, videos and pictures I had stored.Everything seems to be okay apart from the Music Player which everytime I use it it starts to search for songs and podcasts continuously. I can stop that and it lists all of my music and can play them but the volume control does not work, either from the telephone or the earpiece supplied.I have tried leaving it searching for hours but nothing changes - it just keeps on searching. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this please or does it mean I have to do another reset of the telephone? It all worked before.

I have a valid data connection from airtel and rest of the online apps (facebook/mail etc) are working fine.
Recently i purchased 2 albums containing songs marked as "available only as a part of an album". On the download page the download buttons for these songs appear inactive and in my download history they appear active but don't work. Clicking them only blocks the entire page. Is it a bug or maybe these songs are downloaded in some other way?
