Have only had this phone about 3 weeks and already starting to have various problems with it. Couldn't afford £9 a month insurance, but kind of wish I had done now.Can receive but cant send any texts any more. All texts try to send 3 or 4 times before failing. No explanation, just comes up with a red warning that says it has failed.Any idea how to make texting work again?
View 8 RepliesGot my new N900 2 days ago, I can not seem to send pictures via text / mms like i have always been able to. I take a picture & then look at the options at the bottom of the screen i see:
Rotate,
Crop,
Edit Tags,
Share,
Delete
I select Share & only get 3 options:
Send Via BlueTooth,
Send Via Email
Share Service
In none of these options can I find away to text a picture to someone. What Am i doing wrong??I have updaed my phone to latest firmware hoping this might help.. but no
I cant send sms messages to people who do not have an iphone, however i can send pictures to them ...

When I've typed out my message and sent it a message comes up saying "Requested facility not implemented" I have tried to reboot the phone but that hasn't solved the issue.

I have an iphone 4s with AT&T service. I have had 2 previous models of the iphone with AT&T and not had a problem before. However, since I have upgraded to the 4s, I cannot send or receive texts to people that still have a 3gs and it also seems to people with Samsung phones. From what I know, everyone is on AT&T for their service. This is very inconveinent and information is not coming across when we assume the text has gone through.

I have a iPhone 4 that signed up to Sprint, and I've had this for 5 months and nothing happened. Now my iPhone is not sending text messages or sending calls. Even when my Sprint signal is high, it doesn't seem for the text messages to go through or heck not even the calling. Only when my iPhone is in Extended "Roaming" it could send texts and calls. Is there any suggestions into solving this issue? Or do I need to replace this iPhone? I tried turning it off and on (didn't work), and Restoring the iPhone (still didn't work).

When I have these two numbers listed in my address book, I am unable to send texts to them. Only once I remove them from the address book can I send them an SMS. What is wrong?

Anyways, I can make calls and receive calls, and have tested this out numerous times. However when I go to send or receive texts, it shows them as sent, but the other person does not get a text, and vice versa. I have a 6300 and am able to receive texts from Africa, but when I reply to the number with a text back, it won't send. I requested a delivery receipt and I eventually got the notification that it failed, but didn't give any reason. I am based in the UK and am sending to a Guinea number. Any tips?

The symbol of moving envelope just came up in the upper part of display and it didnt disapeared since. From that moment I cant send any SMS or MMS, I can recieve them but not send. I tried to reset phone, change my sim but the problem is still the same - I cant send sms or mms and the symbol of envelope is still there. My memory isnt full and everything seems to be fine.

I have big problem with sending emails because i can't. I have personel mail account with my hosting and i retrieve all messages from my inbox but i can't send a mail.
I tried gmail account and it's works fine..
I configured my account with pop and imap (my mail server supports both). Both configuration retrieve mails but didn't sent! Always same error "Unable to send message: Name Surname <email@account.com>"
By the way I'm from Turkey and in the Turkey smtp 25 port is closed, we're using #587 port and i configured at the email account installation.
I have just got the lumia 710. I am unable to send MMS or use mobile data. I am on the Vodafone network. I have rang them several times regarding this problem and they have checked that all is ok at there end and say that the APN settings need doing. I have done this and still nothing.

I've already taken out the battery twice and I know it has nothing to do with the signal or anything like that because I have full bars but I only have 1x, which I normally ever have in my house. I just have 3G. I can call on it fine so it has nothing to do with the bill.
