I have been using my phone for a few days now. So far it's pretty good. I've only got a few minor problems, but they are annoying me.
1-Battery indicator shows five bars all day, until I turn the phone off and on again and then goes down to three. I did that just now and after a few minutes it went back up to four bars. Is this a common problem?
2-this is for any vodafone users, my vodafone app manager always asks to be updated whenever I go into it, but it's at the latest version. any ideas on how to get it to stop?
I usually close all the active apps from the Task manager to save the battery of my s2, after doing that i checked the RAM and clear it but there's a message that says for example 8 application were closed, so where this apps came from???
The problem is that my battery indicator stays full all the time. Battery life is OK (2-3 days) but is very annoying cause I don't know the battery level. It pass from max level directly to 1line and shortly the phone switch off.I tried 3 kind of firmwares (including last one 410.21.010), charging phone in different ways, different chargers, hard reset etc. and nothing. The phone is new (2 weeks of use) but no warranty.Any solution?
I have this peculiar problem for the past two months alone...every time i restart my phone - N82 the battery indicator drops by a point...sometimes two...also the indicator is not stable...it shows 4 points remaining but as soon as i turn on gprs it shows battery low!! can some one help...i've been breaking my head for the past 2 months with energy profiler...tried to find out a reason but nothing was making any point...also say after 2 or 3 days of continuous usage there are spikes in the energy consumption corresponding to spikes in cpu usage...but when i restart things are normal.
I've had the N900 for a week now. And after a software update my battery life indicator is acting strange. It would stay on full until the last few minutes when it would crash to about 10% or so and I would get the battery low warnings. Then the phone would shut down a few minutes later. My battery life is about 15 hrs with normal usage.I've installed batterygraph, which shows that battery seems to be behaving properly, i.e a couple of hours of use and its dropped to about 4V from 4.2V, but the strange thing is that it is still showing 100%.Has the update somehow reset what the fully charged voltage should be ?
I have my N97 updated to the latest firmware, and when I try to list the installed application, it just blank the screen and returns to the main menu. Does anyone is facing same problem ?
I am hoping someone can help me, i dont have anything on my phone regarding the ovi store, but in my apps manager there is ovi store client (461kb),its on my phone memory (not mass memory),i keep on trying to uninstall it ,it does remove, but when i go back in to have a look, the damn things there again,i just continue to try and remove it but it keeps on coming back!
I am using Nokia E63 Mobile Device. Recently I re-installed my Mobile Operating System through Nokia Customer Care - but still I am seeing Application references in 'App Manager'. How do I completely remove / Delete these application references from my Device?
Whenever I do a battery pull my battery indication after reinsertion reads 0% and shows the battery as red. My battery indicator before the battery pull will read anywhere from 80% to 50% but after the battery pull the indicator changes to read zero and is shown in red. If I don't charge the phone it will die even though prior to the battery pull the charge was fine at 80% or so...
I'm pulling the battery because of memory shortages. I HAVE replaced the battery and I still get the same problem. Pulling the battery after this happens changes nothing. I've pulled the battery numerous times afterwards and I never get the battery indicator to read what it did before the battery pull. I don't dare pull the battery if I'm not near my charger as the phone will die in a matter of minutes...
I did a partial restore using the Nokia Suite, selecting only the "Device settings an applications" content (I wanted to restore a theme that I wasn't able to download again without purchasing a second time). The restoral was successful and I have the theme back. The problem is that several other themes that I no longer want were also put back on my N8. I go to Settings>Application manager>Installed apps, however none of the restored themes are listed (they are all taking up Device Memory). how I can delete these items from my phone and thus free up the memory they are occupying?
I've got a strange problem with my 5800, when I want to enter application manager > installed applications my phone restarts. From recent installed applications a major ones would be Ovi Maps and (today) Java 2.0 from Nokia Beta Labs. I am not sure which one could cause the described problem, but I think it would be Java. Why? Because without memory card present I can enter 'installed apps' without any problem. I have to tell you, that only in my opinion Java causes that, I don't know if any other doesn't. How to manage the problem without a hard reset? I really wouldn't like to install all my stuff once again.
I've forgot one important thing to tell you - software version 31.0.101 (31.0.101.385.03), language is 06 (polish).Message Edited by Yarcio on 02-Feb-2010 03:25 PM
I am having issues trying to backup my phone to the mini-SD card. Whenever I try to backup the phone, during the 'Preparing backup' stage I get the message:
File Manager : Memory Full. Close some applications and try again
I have uninstalled any unnecessary apps from the C: drive and cleared out unwanted files . This is how much memory I have available:
RAM : 51mb / 120mb
C: 41mb/86mb
D: 51mb/43mb
E: 5869mb/ 7596mb
I have recently carried out a hard reset on the handset and upgraded the software, so this is not the solution. This was a problem before doing this and remains an issue now. I know that I can backup the phone on my PC but I would like to resolve this so I can backup the phone on the fly.
Normally I charge my battery on my bold 9780 every other day. To my supprise the battery indicator stayed on 100% for 3-4 days until it suddenly closed down while using it, saying battery was low...(not exact message). I charged it to 50% but after a day it is reading 50% still.
My girlfriend bought a used iPhone 4s several months ago, and soon after noticed that the battery indicator didn't reflect the real charge. Sometimes it would switch off at 28%, and other times the battery indicator would go from fully charged to almost nothing in a very short period, without using any battery hungry apps. Even when the indicator seemed to work properly the battery would only last a few hours under regular use.Â
The problem remained after I upgraded the phone to iOS7, so I figured the battery was just on its last legs. However, today she had a brand new battery fitted (probably off-brand, as she had it replaced in a technology market in Bangkok), and the problem persists. The phone switched off when the indicator read 30%. Â
what could be causing an indicator problem that persists with different batteries?
My battery Inidcator in the top right of the screen on my nokia e72 is always full and never drops?I installed Ion Battery Timer and it says battery was at 57% after a day or so of usage. but meanwhile the battery indicator says it full?
Ive tried flashing and hard-resetting the phone but nothing changes?
Ive owned the phone since the first of feb this year, and just noticed this now.
My girlfriend has a problem with her blackberry torch. Last night her phone felled out of her bed (20cm.). Well, there wasn't any weird behavior. WASN'T! Because after a few hours her phone displayed "Your battery is low and your phone will turn off", but the indicator in the right corner said it was charged for 60%, After rebooting and a factory reset nothing changed. Sometimes it works for a few minutes, and then it shut down again.
Over the last couple days, my phone will randomly pretend it has ran out of battery at about 55% on the battery indicator.  It seems to be getting stuck in some boot problem after it shuts down where,  after turning it on, it decides to immediatly shut down. To get out of this annoying problem, I have to connect my phone to the charger where it says it has 0%.  The battery life seems to last about 2 hours to 3 hours. And I have tried removing SIM and SD card, but it doesn't seem to matter.
My earphones are causing my phone to go haywire...starts skipping music and going to voice all by itself...this happens when i'm working out...any suggestions??
Has anyone else had a problem where the battery notification icon says 100% even when the actual power is much much lower? I noticed this the other day after watching my Slingbox for over an hour, which should drop the battery way down, and it still said 100%. The "My Device" battery page also said 100%. I did a restart, and it instantly went to 47% and then continued to function normally. It's done this several times, and seems to get stuck only at 100%. Also, when in this mode, it won't charge. When I plug it in I get a message "Battery 100% charged
Ever since I initially charged my XOOM the battery indicator shows 100% full, never shows any discharge & just shuts down when the battery is flat with no warning, any ideas, still under warranty.
I notice in some screen shots that people post that they have a Battery Level Indicator. I have seen these on the graphs from settings/about phone/battery usage.I don't have this indicator. The only time I see a battery level is when charging.
My iphone 5 battery indicator shows a very rapidly draining battery. The other day it showed less than 5% remaining power. I plugged it in, and within two seconds my power level was almost 40%.Â
When the indicator gets too low (it's random -- might be 10%, might be 1%), the phone will power off. Again, if I plug it in, at reboot it will show about 40% power.Â
I have had my X6 16GB for just over a year on a contract with O2, now I've not really had any problems with it, few bugs etc but nothing major. Recently out of the blue however it's decided it doesn't want to charge, the phone will show the charging indicator when the charger is plugged in however it will not charge the battery, then the battery will completely drain and I can no longer power the phone on.
The phone has a 2 year warranty and has just under a year left so it was sent back to O2 who have just said it is "Beyond economical repair" and sent me a broken phone back which is no use to me at all. I've had Nokia's for as long as I can remember but I'm not really quite sure what I'm to do with this one as at the moment it's a useless paper weight.
