View 2 Replies View RelatedI have some SMS's that I want to keep as they are sentimental (very) and I don't know how to transfer them onto a PC, I know the Nokia 500-d has Bluetooth but I do not believe there is a USB cable available for this model
I have saved the SMS's that were originally in the inbox to a separate folder in saved items, but there is no option to do anything with these, to transfer etc.. I really really do not want to lose these messages, there must be some way to save them. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!!

I am wondering if there is a way to back up EVERYTHING on my iPhone as well as my Missus iphone but save it all on an external hard drive. The reason for this is my phone recently died beyond repair and I seem to have not backed up my movies songs and apps, needless to say it was extremely annoying. On top of this I am hoping to set it up so it backs up both phones daily over wifi automatically.I have looked on the Internet and can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

Can anyone tell me if the XpressMusic 5800 should have an audible alert say every minute or so to let me know I have a voice mail message, I know there is one when the message first arrives? Also the same for text messages, I know there is a flashing button, but I was hoping for an audible alert, not just for when it first arrives?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a the T-Mobile version of the 5230 (the Nuron). I assumed that the notification light would flash after someone left a voice mail. T-Mobile Customer Service claims the Nuron does not do this. Under the Settings-Phone-Notification Lights-Notification Light-Events Notified screen, there are 3 options that can be checked: Missed Call, New Message, New E-Mail. I had hoped "New Message" included voice messages as well as text messages, but I guess not.
This means that I would have to turn on the screen to check for voice mails if I stepped away from my phone. (Note: I do get a flashing notification light for missed calls and texts. However, the missed call flashes stop as soon as the "new voice mail" message appears on the screen.) I've tried a soft reset with no improvement.
I have a lumia 900. Is there a way to send certain calls right to voicemail? I use my cell phone for my business and I get telemarketing calls on occasion (Business phones are exempt from DNC). It's nice to send future calls right to voicemail. My android phone used to have this feature and I have tried with Nokia to no avail.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI've got a Nokia 5800 phone a few days ago. I'm trying to set the voice mail number using the standard procedure described in the user's guide. My carrier's voice mail number is *9 and when I try to set it I get an "invalid number" message. I've been reading a on the internet and it seems to be that numbers starting with a * have a special meaning on GSM phones and that is why it gets rejected. Is there an alternative way to set the voice mail number on a nokia 5800 phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedProblem is as I been reading I never found out if HTC Hero supports external email servers.I all says it supports POP3, IMAP and Exchange, but does it support IMAP/4 with SSL to whatever mail server?I heard something that HTC Hero only supports like Hotmail and Gmail and so on but I never found any information about setting for setting up like mail server and port and so on like "normal" mail clients.recommends a very good HTC that is more for office(that can handle MS Office ducuments and pdfs and so on) and works with HTC Sync (So it syncs with Lotus Notes) and as well have support for standard POP3/IMAP (with ssl) and Exchange mail servers not just exchange and web mail servers.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else out there own a 700? This thing is just a disaster! I've owned Nokia phones (an no other make) for over 10 years, but this is by far my most disappointing experience. I am at wits end and near the tipping point (of purchasing an iPhone 5).Nearly 1 in 5 times I use the darned thing it crashes. Also, my icons for search items are gone (except for restaurants). I restored the phone and now it won't download any maps! I used to have complete maps for the USA, Canada and Mexico, but now it will not even download the USA.I can not download the latest firmware (version of Symbian). My phone says it is up-to-date, but it is not. I do not have a PC so I can not use Nokia Suite (why? Nokia, get real and write a Mac version already).
When I reboot my phone it will not receive voice mail or text messages! I have to reboot it again. Why is this phone so buggy? I'm sending it in for warranty repair but I don't think I want this or any Nokia software phone. I think I'll try a Nokia Windows phone if Nokia will give me some credit for this phone and allow me to apply it towards the Windows versions. I mean seriously, Apple has their bomb proof software that works. If there is a bug, give them a week and there's an easily obtained update. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I'm being driven away. Can someone help me make this right? I'm sure whatever Nokia tech looks at my phone will say it is fine, it's the software that is uncooperative.Anyone else with a 700?

View 3 Replies View RelatedLove my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.
