Nokia Applications :: Sync Facebook Contacts With Phone Contacts?
Mar 20, 2010I'm wondering if there is an app that let's me sync my Facebook contacts with the contacts on my phone, I've got an iPod Touch and on that I use MyPhone+ and I sync that to Windows contacts and my phone to Windows contacts but no pics get copied. is there an app there does that?

Sep 4, 2012I am trying to transfer all my contacts from Galaxy S to Nokia 808 but it seems to be like the Mars Mission! I have all my contacts synced with my Google account and Windows Live account and I have all the contacts in .vcf and .csv format. How can I get them into my Nokia 808. I tried the "Import contacts" option in PC Suite but it just does not do anything. It acts as though I never asked it to import. So that isnt working. I am using the latest PC Suite which i downloaded from the Nokia website.

Nokia :: E71 Contacts Disappearing
Jan 21, 2010I am using a Nokia E71.Some of my contacts have disappeared from my phone. They are not on the sim, phone or memory card; they have just disappeared.I have not connected my phone to my computer recently, so it isn't Nokia Ovi Suite which has deleted them via sync.I've taken the precaution of deleting Ovi Store from the installations on my phone, now I have Email from 3, Skype, Google and Windows Messenger.Please could somebody tell me why my phone is doing this and how to prevent it?

Jul 6, 2010After several days of intensive use of Intelligent contacts search function I receive Out of memory message. After this message I can not use contact. Other applications look to be normal.I have to restart phone to get it normal working. It looks like Contacts app. use all permitted by system memory and do not clean up it. Installed later for metter investigation 3rd party task manager shows plenty of free memory (20+ mb).Firmware 034.011 and earlier has same problem.Is it possible to solve it?

Feb 15, 2010I have just got a new Nokia E72 I want to transfer the contacts off my old phone The old phone is a 3 Skypephone S2, which is not compatible for a bluetooth transfer.I stored all the details onto the memory card, put it into new phone, and saved them to the new Nokia so they are on the right phone.Now I just need to know HOW to put them from where they are stored on the memory card, into my 'contacts' list so I can use them.

Jan 31, 2010I have had my E71 since May last year and love my phone, I've had no complaints - until now.A few weeks ago I added hotmail on my phone. It downloaded my contacts from my hotmail and I went from 100 phone numbers to over 400 numbers/emails. Now I know I should have backed it up at this point, and I was meaning to, honestly, when yesterday it suddenly decided to randomly dump about 350 of my contacts!
So, I got in touch with my friends and asked them to send me their details again. Just by chance I decided to put a little asterisk beside the new contacts - just in case any of the old contacts returned.Well, the today, I checked my phone, only to discover that it had deleted some of the new contacts I had entered yesterday, but at the same time reinstated a handful of the old contacts I lost! Has anyone else had this problem or can shed a light on this for me? I'm a bit worried about this now, I don't want it to keep dumping numbers I need. Do you think its connected with me putting hotmail on my phone? Its deleted a few photos too!

Jul 21, 2010I'm relatively new to Nokia having just gotten an e52 a few days ago and I find it a bit confusing to use at times but I'm sure it just takes some getting used to.Anyhow the first thing I wanted to do was to back up my contacts to my PC without having to use PC suite. Is this possible to do, can anyone shed some light on this?I'm also confused with the light sensor.To me it just seems like an adjustment for the display brightness, but I can't be sure.Any help would be much appreciated.

Aug 18, 2010I am trying to assign a ringtone to a contact on a E51 with latest firmware.When editing the contact, I select Options->Ringing tone, and then the only two selections available are "Download sounds" and "Default tone", even though I have many ringtones which show up when changing the ringtone for a profile.I thought this is something I had been able to do in the past.The only thing different now is that I have my contacts synchronized with a Mail for Exchange (3.0) account, could that be the problem?The same thing happens if I try to assign a ringtone to a group. How can I fix this so I can assign ringtones to specific contacts?

Apr 11, 2010I've searched high and low, it seems I may be the first to report this issue:not long after I upgraded to the new firmware, I noticed that I can no longer search my contact list; I can get into contact list, but when I try to type some letters into the search box, the letters do not "stay", it comes up for a very brief moment and then deletes itself :-/
I've tried typing in other languages: same.
I've tried typing in other application: works as normal
I've tried clearing the cache using y-browser: no good
I've tried reseting the phone - both the 7370 and 7780 method: doesn't really fix it -> 7370 reset will fix it for a while, but as soon as I load my contact lists back in, it either stops working or allow for one more search and then it's gone.I'm suspecting it's related to the new firmware... and that's pretty much the only thing I haven't tried, I don't know how to roll-back the firmware

Jul 8, 2010I saw a few sync issues with third party softwares doing a search, but could not find my issue.I don't sync my mobile with any third-party software such as Microsoft Exchange or anything.
But I entered birthdays an anniversaries in the contacts.For instance, I create a new contact, his name's Bob.
"Add detail" ; birthday, say 09/07/1990.
On my oooold Nokia 3200, tomorrow, I would have a reminder in the calendar (it would even say Bob's 20, but I saw in my search that this was no longer available)
On my E71, nothing. If I entered a birthdate in the contact, maybe it means I suck at remembering the dates.If I used a downloaded App on the Ovi store, I would understand, maybe DLed apps don't have access to the contact data. But here I use the Nokia Calendar, and the Nokia contacts.Is it just me? Did I forgot to set something? Am I asking to much? (Come on, a 3200 could...)

Aug 15, 2010I would like to copy my contacts from my N900 to my new work phone, they are all syncd in Ovi Suite but I cannot seem to find a way to copy them. Old phones were simple copy to sim! I have tried mail for exchange but unfortunately this has never worked for me on the N900 I always get same error message re contacting the server! I would really like to be able to use the same contacts on my new phone to save me having to input by hand.

Paired Ok but could not transfer phonebook. I tried to select from phone to send data via bluetooth to see if Pioneer unit popped up but no dice. The Head unit stated send as vCard from phone to the head unit but could not figure out how to do this. I guess this would be sending contact information one at a time but really do not know. Has anyone been successful or is this not support at present?
