Aug 12, 2012
I am trying to install QuasarMX player in my nokia 500 via pc, but though my nokia suite says that the app installed correctly, there is a dialog box in my phone sayin Download Error.. I tried getting my software updated from nearby nokia care
I bought a phone with a 1 year nokia music subscription.Problem is I can't install the player. I click on the "Setup Ovi Player" file, select the language, agree to the terms and conditions, then on the next page it says "There was a problem communicating with the Nokia server update computer. Please, verify your internet connection" Internet is working fine. I tried turning off the firewall, that didn't work.
Someone,Tried to install Ovi Player and keep getting the following error message every time I try to install. Gone through the remove and try again option but no joy. Have also installed Ovi store and the music option cant see my music on pc.
How do I get around the error 1722?"ERROR 1722 - There is a problem with windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. contact your personal suport..........."

I dont't know if this was asked before but I couldn't find a toppick with exactly the same problem. When I browse through the albums the songs are listed in the right order ,but when I start dding them to a playlist (doesn't matter if it's new or existing) they appear sorted alphabeticaly. There is no option to correct that.It seems that when adding songs to playlist the player reads the song name and not the song nomber from the tag.I even tryed adding the correct numbers infront of the song name in the id3tag but then again it sorts them wrong (like 01,10,11,12,13,02,03,04,etc.)
Recently ive been using my Nokia 808 as a music player in my car, my Kenwood stereo has a aux input and the 808 has a small headphone jack output so connecting it is no problem (i dont use the FM transmitter on the phone as the aerial on my car isnt so good and i get interference).
It works well but the major problem is that its very quiet compared to a cd. I have used software to normalise the volume of all my audio tracks so they are pretty much at normal cd level but they are still quietier than cd's played by the car stereo by quite a long way. The problem is not with my car stereo as its an extremely good unit which cost me a lot of money, so therefore it must be that the phone simply does not output enough volume.
know of a device that can increase the volume to the car stereo aux input?
I bought the X6 a couple of days ago and I want to update the Flash Player on the phone as I cannot view flash content. I've tried to update by going to adobe's website and even downloading Opera Mini. However it still doesn't allow me to download. This is fairly dissappointing since I bought this phone for the Flash Player support.
default music player is not refreshing ,when i start refresh is shows 5 songs added but it didnt stop refreshing and after some time the player got hang and i can't play any music and ultimately i hv to restart the ph.
I have bought new Nokia 5233, two days back. And I have inserted a 2GB Micro SD Memory card to it. When I tried to open the Music Player, it showed only some 70 songs, instead of 172 which the Memory card had originally in it.I tried to Refresh the Music Player, initially it showed that files are been loaded. But after about 50 songs the device hanged up there.I tried to cancel the process, but it didn't respond anything. The Screen got struck and I have to switch-off mobile and start it again to resume it into operation. I tried to pull out the Memory card and insert it again, but the songs are not getting populated in the Music Player.
I have a nokia n8 with a 32GB micro sd, I've managed to put some music on and anything I try and put on now doesn't show up in the libery. Then when I look in the file manager the files arent there and when its connected to my computer the songs aren't there.
I recently bought a Nokia 701 and I noticed that sometimes after receiving a call (That being after the call ends) if I was listening to the music player the music is slowed down and crackly after the call. (bug occurs atleast with headphones plugged in. Not sure if without. The music is distorted even after I remove my headphones.) This bug can be fixed with a restart.
I installed a Virgin media player app from the nokia store and want to uninstall it as it requires payment for credits to view programs. When I try to uninstall it it comes up with 'Removing cancelled'.
I had a Nokia X3-02 which I copied music to the memory (microSD 4GB) and I was able to play the music with the native music player this phone had.....Now I have a Nokia 700 I do the same thing but I am not able to add the music from my microSD (32 GB) to this player so I have to use the File Explorer but is a pain is the **** since I have to play song per song....is the a good free music player for my nokia 700? so I add add o read music from my microSD and create to play the music without too much toucing my phone?

Recently I bought a used N8 which has been working as expected until I noticed that it wouldn't install a single app. When I got the phone the previous user had reset the phone to factory settings and in general tried to turn it back to it's original condition. At first all apps installed without problems. The only app I experienced problems with was Nokia Store, which always got stuck on the loading screen and never opened. Now my N8 hasn't been able to install any apps what so ever, especially no .sis or .sisx files. The installation of .sis or .sisx files results in a error message Unable to install (or something similar in english). The newest software of Symbian Anna is installed on the phone. The only app I've been able to install is one with a .wgz ending.I've tried to reset the phone to factory settings again, reset the device with *#7370# code and held the power button for 8 seconds, and my problem persists.
