Aug 13, 2012Given that there is no official Nokia car holder, what is everyone using?I've been using my old n8 cradle but I just got the cc3046 case and it no longer fits.

Nokia Accessories :: Already Used CR-115 Car Holder With Phone With More Then 13.0 Mm Thickness?
May 15, 2011I have a Nokia CR-115 car holder, which I use with my 5530. It's a very good, compact and safe car holder, I like it a lot.I intend to buy a C6-01 and accordingly to Nokia's site, the recommended car holder for this phone is the CR-114, not the CR-115..The only difference between CR-114 and CR-115 is the thickness of the phones they support. CR-114 is for phones with 8-18 mm and CR-115 is for phones with 8-13.That said, I don't think there wil be any trouble if I use the C6-01 on a CR-115 car holder. C6-01 has 13.9 mm thickness, only 0.9 mm more than the theorical maximum of the CR-114 holder. I mean, since the CR-115 holder will grip most part of C6-01 thickness, I think it'll be OK.Has anybody already used a CR-115 car holder with a phone with more then 13.0 mm thickness?

My mother is the AT&T account holder, and she doesn't really want to take off of work to go pick up an iPhone. Dec 20, 2011I've recently bought a Nokia 700 and for few days I'm experiencing this weird problem.Every single connection drops (3G, Wi-Fi and USB. Haven't tested NFC yet) at random times and I can't reconnect. It always says after that it can't connect and the connections are unavailable.After turning the phone off and then on again, everything is back to normal. I can normally connect to the 3G connection, Wi-Fi and USB.It's pretty annoying as I always have to restart my phone in order to connect via USB or to the Internet when it happens.Anyone else who is experiencing the same problem or has any solutions to this?

Sep 29, 2011I just bought a new Nokia J headset and I can't pair it with the Nokia N8, the phone simply doesn't find it or any other BT device. My computer can find it all other devices I've tried. The phone works fine with BT devices that were already paired but won't pair new ones. I've tried the new Headset on another phone and no problems, even my computer pairs with it so it's my N8 for sure.

I didn't find it.If I have activate the fm-transmitter in my car and nokia maps is running as well, the output of the music comes over the radio, but the output voice of nokia maps comes over the phone. If any advise comes from nokia maps, the connections interrupt via fm-transmitter completly.During the time of the nokia maps advise both, music and nokia maps, sending the sound via phone. Is there any possibility to avoid that problem?

Nov 14, 2012i'm using a nokia n8 phone and i used to keep a copy of my photos and videos on my pc using nokia suite, i just clicked on the gallery sync. button and it was done.i recently bought a new memory card and i started downloading videos by the (Internet downloader) app. i have now like 7gb of videos on my memory card.the problem is that now every time i try to sync. the gallery, nokia suite makes a copy of all downloaded videos on my computer. is it possible to set nokia suite to sync. only the photos and the videos taken by the camera and ignore the downloaded videos?

When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.

Apr 22, 2010I have aN79 and use the fm transmitter to play mp3's loaded on it via my car radio system.When using nokia maps at the same time the transmitter is turned off when a voice comand comes from Nokia maps then when it is finnished it comes back on again.
Why can't/arn't the comands transmitted to the car system the same as the mp3's as they continue to play from the phone as the comands are deliveried.
Is this as good as it gets or can you get it to work with the transmitter?

Jun 23, 2011My Nokia N8 does not seem to be able to do DTMF. This means no listening to voicemail, no using of call centers which asks to enter numeric options, no joining telephone conferecences with a pin and no remote activation of DTMF based server settings.
it can be done and all I need to do during a call is to select "Options -> Send DTMF -> Enter Manually -> * -> Y", because that is stupid. Entering 5 commands to select a single digit is rediculous. It is like saying that I can sail from Johannesburg to Cape Town because all I need is to dig a canal and then build a ship from matches. This much effort is as good as not having it and is entirely impractical during a call with various options i.e. voicemail or call center options.

Does the 701 have many accessories? If so where should I look to buy them? And do the C7 and 701 have the same dimensions?
