N8 Nokia Maps 3.08 does not calculate the Time of arrival. It shows the estimated time of arriving only with the Hours, but no Minutes. This is so even at the Endpoint of the route.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe flash light on my 808 goes on on its own frm time to time. Mainly it happens during SMS arrival. It goes on and stays on untill I switch it off by pushing slider down for few seconds. Accidental pressing of slider is excluded as it happens even when phone is laying on my desc. When I notice this I switch it off but it happened few times in the pocket and flash is draining battery.I just send few SMS and observe that flash goes on for a moment but switches off. I wander if flash is somehow related to notification of SMS or other messages?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a used Nokia E52 with a hope to have maps in the pocket and GPS.After certain struggle I managed to install all maps and it seems to be working.However When I search for a street address, unless there is something on this street (in locations database.. like parking, hotel or restaurant), it doesn't fidn it at all.I looked at many forums, but I can't figure out if it's a bug or a feature.Can one just type a street address in OVI maps (let's say "Rue Saint-Bon, Paris"..or "6 Rue Saint-Bon, Paris") and expect it to find it. It seems the most basic and most important feature of GPS navigation - to find street address. But it just doesnt' work!

View 1 Replies View RelatedX10 Mini 2.1. How do yo set the correct time down to the right second? Whatever I try its like 30 seconds off. I try setting it 30 sec early compared to real time, and also 30 sec late. But it still changes minute when the real time says like 18:15:30 (hh:mm:sec). I am setting it to manual and Im using the TV as an indication for the exact time. But the phone always changes minute about 30 seconds wrong, no matter how I try.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have nokia 5230 and a serious problem. After about one year of usage, the offline search of street names just did not work any more. I have made a complete software update yesterday. The new navigator said, there were no maps on my phone. When trying to download country maps, at about 40 % the grey downloading indicator at the bottom disappears and green download clock starts turning and turning and turning, nothing happens any more (every time same scenario). I have the newest ovi suite, even uninstalled and reinstalled it yesterday. Naigation was actually the only feature I use frequently.

I'd like to write the exact address where I need to go, but this seems to be impossible. The only thing I am allowed to write is the city (or, in the best cases, the train station, the cinema, etc). View 24 Replies View Relatedmy Xperia Neo has decided recently not to alert me to new messages when they arrive. I have checked my alert settings and nothing seems to be wrong there. Because of this, I have missed a couple of important messages, which were too late to deal with when i actually saw them. A good 3 hours arfter my phone said they were recieved.
To be clear, no notification bar message was displayed, my phone did not vibrate or make a sound at all.how I can fix it, but I do not wish to do a factory reset.

I have looked through all the settings to see if anything controls it but can't find anything. Is this a fault or some configuration problem? Any suggestions as to how to fix? Maps 3.08 does not let me calibrate my compass (at least not by ticking once or twice at the compass). By consequence, while navigating it does not orientate the display with the top in the forward direction. I found a workaround by using a separate compass application, calibrate the compass there, and then Maps works perfect. There must be a easier way to calibrate the compass from within the Maps application.

Navigation used to work fine on my X6, but since having to do a hard reset of the phone (due to other problems!) I cannot use the Navigation.
Everytime I get the error 'navigation cannot start at this location' and it doesn't seem like the phone can ever pick up my location.I have tried un-installing and re-installing the application but to no-avail!I haven't even wasted my time calling Nokia Support, as they are totally useless!
getting very frustrated with this now. I have given my dad my N95 to help him get around but just cant get the map navigation to work. I downloaded the Nokia Map Loader (I had to go to a third party website as the Nokia links were all broken) and have the map/voices but when my dad tries to use the navigation it tells him he has to pay.Obviously, I know that Nokia have now made these services free to complete with other company's devices, I'm just being stupid and not going to the right place to download them.
