I mean lets say I have a blue handset which has blue themes but I want the red/black themes, where do I get that from? I would like to have all the original themes on my phone: red, yellow, blue and the grey one. My phone which is a red/black model only seems to have the grey one on it.

OK, during the testing of both Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite I got prompted to accept the installation of several applications on my E63 (via Bluetooth)now is there anyway for me to uninstall everything and revert everything back to "original", just like the day when I bought it?
1) Would a factory reset do it? (I'm guessing factory defaults would only reset settings and not removing applications, right?)
2) Would doing a firmware update do it? there is nothing to backup on my phone, so this is not a problem.
3) I know there is a SIM card/Phone memory and I also have a 8GB SDHC and all three can store data. how do you determine which go to which?
I just bought a black E52 with a 1 Gig card. However, I swapped the 1 Gig card at the outlet by paying extra for a 2 gig card. Later i found out that I had made a mistake since the memory card contains software and all. Can anybody help me where to download the contents that come with the original card.Or what actually software does the memory card come with e.g. ringtones, games, themes etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Nokia 6720 Classic, and played with the navigation software. I particularly liked the function where the displayed map rotates as the phone rotates, so that the map north always points to true north.I then installed Ovi Maps 3.03, whereby the entire navigation software GUI changed, and the true-north-function disappeared. I never checked what software was previously installed, so I don't really know if I just installed a newer version of Ovi Maps, or if I installed an entirely new software. The original software did not have any links to LonelyPlanet or Michelin.I also made the mistake of selecting 6730 classic in the download menu on the Nokia site, since the 6720 was not listed. Could it be that the 6730 doesn't have a built-in compass, and that the software I downloaded therefore does not have the true-north function?
Looking in the Programs folder, I saw a Nokia Maps and an Ovi Maps (swedish), both version 3.03 (246) I uninstalled the Ovi Maps program and restarted the phone, but I still got the new Ovi Maps 3.03 when I selected the Maps menu on the phone. I haven't dared to uninstall Nokia Maps yet - should I try that? So my questions are
1) is there a true-north function on Ovi Maps?
2) if not, how do I restore the phone to whatever navigation software was factory-installed?
Bought 5800 which had mobile Facebook on the handset already. Added this as a homepage shortcut. Downloaded the OVI Facebook but didn't like it so removed it. A few months later I attemptedto download OVI Facebook App again but was advised I had to delete the Facebook install files from my handset.
Did this but have also accidentally deleted the mobile Facebook original App that was on the handset when purchased! Tried to re-download this from mobile Facebook site - but just get a blank screen? how to reinstall the original mobile Facebook App?

so i recently gota a nokia 603 from my dad as a birthday present...i used it for a while and changed some settings...after doing this i decided to do a hard reset on the device..after the fone restarted i noticed that some of the original apps had gone missing..and also i cannot access social, nokia store, maps...and other preinstalled apps through mobile data..but its possible to access them through wifi.

Going through both phones, I realized that I was Missing 11 files in the installations folder. The phone works except for the ovi store but I don't want to run into problems later because of missing files. They are Nokia Ovi Provisioner, Open C Glibrary, Open C libssl, Symbian os pipes, Symbian os pips, Symbian os stdioser, Open C libssl common, pips installer, ovi Store Launcher and ovi store client. View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my 5800 I was incredibly unimpressed with pretty much every aspect of it. Utter rubbish.I went online and checked out Nokia's Ovi store and there were about 3 apps there, none of which any good.
Thought I'd use Ovi again today. I couldn't remember what password I used so I went through the password retrival service on my phone. To do this you need to type in some letters displayed onscreen. Only the image doesn't work. On Nokia's phone, running Nokia's app, Nokia's password retrieval is impossible. This typifies everything about Nokia - unwieldy and clunky solutions that fail at every step. Nothing is straightforward or simple to use.
Finally logged on (after going on my PC). Logged on via my phone, went to download an App and "Cannot download due to an error".
Have just bought a new E72.A 4 GB memory card is already inserted by Nokia and it has a lot on it - maps etc I guess.I am getting a 32gb card for additional stuff.How can I easily get the stuff from the original card onto the new card - can I just transfer it via a PC??
