I'm having problems tracing 2 of my mystery access points on my N95.I've deleted all the network assigned access points Tools > Settings > Connection > Access Points. But when I try to connect using the built-in web browser, there are still 2 Access Points showing. How can I delete these two? The list of access points are already empty, I even deleted the WLAN connections.
my nokia 5800 has suddenly just lost all its access points so when i connect to web n walk where it says select connection is say (no data). ive already tried doing restore to factory settings and that has not worked. If anyone has any ideas on how i can get them back plz help.
I recently bought an n86 and I am having persistent connectivity/wifi problems. Currently my biggest problem seems to be that while I can connect to the correct wireless router and bring up a first link on the web browser - whenever I try and link to another page the phone instantly tries to connnect through my phone provider (AT&T) and gives no other options. It is really strange.
Another strange thing is that I have set Internet connectivity priorities with my phone provider being last in the list however I am unable to use the 'change priorities' menu - instead I have to move the access point to one of the other destinations (like WAP Services), then, go to WAP Services and move it back to Internet so that it appears last in the list.Has anyone had similiar experiences?
For some reason Chat (the built-in IM client) on my E72 always uses my mobile phone provider's data connection, even though I am connected to WLAN at home. Other applications use WLAN, because it has a higher priority on my "Internet" destination in Connection settings.Chat doesn't seem to have any options at all to select the access point it uses.
For accessing my e-mail I would like to use my wireless LAN connection at first and only if there is no WLAN connection available I would like to use the packet-Data (GPRS, 3G) connection.I can define a "Destination" which contains both WLAN and GPRS connections with priorities.I can not, however, select this "Destination" in my mail settings. Only a direct connection (exactly one WLAN or GPRS/3G connection) is available. What am I doing wrong? How could I set prioritized access groups for e-mail? *)What exactly is the use of "Destinations"?
I updated my E52 to the latest firmware 33.002 and it seems that all my access points were moved to Uncategorized . I can't move them to Internet and I can't delete them; also some applications (ovi store, chat, etc.) won't connect to the internet anymore. Any ideas? Other than a hard reset.
My nokia c6-00 just lost all my Access points for connection (Connectivity -> Destinations:/ ) I used to have Access points from my supplier, But I no longer do. And now I can't connect to internet. What can I do to bring them back?
I am running version 091.004 form 2 June 2012. I have now problems with internet connections via WLAN or GPRS. Under "Network connections" I apparently have one access point categorized as Internet connection called "Netcom Mobil (3)".
I have 15 different ones in the "Not Categorized" section - some for MMS, some for WLAN and 3 copies of the above version 1, 2, 4 and no number respectively. Under Packet data is listed Netcom Mile (2) as access point Nokia Browser can access interne - claimin gto use Netcom Mobile(2)t.
Everything else does not work as far as I can see. I have tried to delete some of the duplicate points, but nothing happens. I have tried to change the categori - no chance. I have tried shutting it off and on. When you reply - beware my ignorrance about the difference between connection points and access points
I want to setup the e-mail client to connect to the access points according to their priority, the same way Web browser does. E.g. when set to connect to Internet category, it should first try to connect to WiFi, and if it's not available, connect to a packet data account. Can I do that with E72?
If I return to a Wifi zone that my Lumia 920 was previously connecting to I cannot get it to "remember" or automatically re-link to the same access point. My notebook & iPad does this without any intervention. I need to restart the Lumia 920 to get it linked.
I updated firmware to 054.003 but now I cannot add access points for wap/mms/internet! The setup wizard only gives me the option to add an email address only...before update I could get operator settings which is not the case now.
i am having trouble connecting my wifes iphone4 to our home wifi both my wifes phone and mine(iphone4) are running the lastest software my phone connects but hers wont?i have tried turning phone and router on and off, tried reseting network settings on phone but still no good this used to connect untill last week when it was connected ti itunes
I am having problems surfing online on sites such as facebook or google while using WiFi on public access points. And I am in range and the bar is full, and my camera when I take pics at night the light is yellowish and the picture comes out with yellowish lighting.
Bascially, I need to know how to delete a wireless access point. My phone is obsessed with using a Wifi access point called Spectrum (I once used it to connect at some motorway services). It is the default access point and nothing I do will change it!I have tried reseting the phone, but makes no difference!Any ideas?
in Nokia Maps you can search for restaurants, supermarkets and so on. I wonder, who collects all these data? Who provides these data? Can Nokia users add their own content to Nokia Maps data? I could imagine with a Wiki kind of data gathering people could add their own content and Nokia Maps could provide much more points of interests. As far as I know Google Maps allows to add user gathered data.
For example, disabled people could add disability suited toilets to Nokia Maps and other disabled people searching for such a toilet can find it on their Nokia. Just as a thought.
Does the 5230 have the functions to access my wireless router? It would be nice to be able to access the web and such when home to download stuff at high speed over my cable internet.
Just got a replacement N5 and I'm using the native email app (as I was on my previous N5), with gmail syncing turned on. The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?
I want to remove some games, points and achievements from my game center account. I delete the game, popup appears and ask me if I want to delete all data from game center. I remove game from game center but my account points is still there. It is possible to remove these points? And after I download my deleted game again then all my achievements are back. How to remove achievements so that they do not come back after I reinstall app?
Off topic, but does anyone know how the 'points system' works for these forums? I tried looking around and couldn't find an explanation of it anywhere.
