Nokia :: N82 Delete Access Points
Jan 12, 2010There are about 200 access points in my N82. It is very slow for me to delete them one by one. How can I delete them at the same time?

Nokia Nseries :: Cannot Configure Or Delete Access Points On E52
Nov 4, 2012I am running version 091.004 form 2 June 2012. I have now problems with internet connections via WLAN or GPRS. Under "Network connections" I apparently have one access point categorized as Internet connection called "Netcom Mobil (3)".
I have 15 different ones in the "Not Categorized" section - some for MMS, some for WLAN and 3 copies of the above version 1, 2, 4 and no number respectively. Under Packet data is listed Netcom Mile (2) as access point Nokia Browser can access interne - claimin gto use Netcom Mobile(2)t.
Everything else does not work as far as I can see. I have tried to delete some of the duplicate points, but nothing happens. I have tried to change the categori - no chance. I have tried shutting it off and on. When you reply - beware my ignorrance about the difference between connection points and access points
Nokia :: N95 Deleting All Access Points
Feb 27, 2010I'm having problems tracing 2 of my mystery access points on my N95.I've deleted all the network assigned access points Tools > Settings > Connection > Access Points. But when I try to connect using the built-in web browser, there are still 2 Access Points showing.How can I delete these two? The list of access points are already empty, I even deleted the WLAN connections.

Jun 9, 2010I recently bought an n86 and I am having persistent connectivity/wifi problems. Currently my biggest problem seems to be that while I can connect to the correct wireless router and bring up a first link on the web browser - whenever I try and link to another page the phone instantly tries to connnect through my phone provider (AT&T) and gives no other options.It is really strange.
Another strange thing is that I have set Internet connectivity priorities with my phone provider being last in the list however I am unable to use the 'change priorities' menu - instead I have to move the access point to one of the other destinations (like WAP Services), then, go to WAP Services and move it back to Internet so that it appears last in the list.Has anyone had similiar experiences?

Feb 15, 2010For some reason Chat (the built-in IM client) on my E72 always uses my mobile phone provider's data connection, even though I am connected to WLAN at home. Other applications use WLAN, because it has a higher priority on my "Internet" destination in Connection settings.Chat doesn't seem to have any options at all to select the access point it uses.

Apr 16, 2010For accessing my e-mail I would like to use my wireless LAN connection at first and only if there is no WLAN connection available I would like to use the packet-Data (GPRS, 3G) connection.I can define a "Destination" which contains both WLAN and GPRS connections with priorities.I can not, however, select this "Destination" in my mail settings. Only a direct connection (exactly one WLAN or GPRS/3G connection) is available.
What am I doing wrong?How could I set prioritized access groups for e-mail? *)What exactly is the use of "Destinations"?

Mar 22, 2010I updated my E52 to the latest firmware 33.002 and it seems that all my access points were moved to Uncategorized . I can't move them to Internet and I can't delete them; also some applications (ovi store, chat, etc.) won't connect to the internet anymore. Any ideas? Other than a hard reset.

I remove game from game center but my account points is still there. It is possible to remove these points? And after I download my deleted game again then all my achievements are back. Apr 4, 2010in Nokia Maps you can search for restaurants, supermarkets and so on. I wonder, who collects all these data? Who provides these data? Can Nokia users add their own content to Nokia Maps data? I could imagine with a Wiki kind of data gathering people could add their own content and Nokia Maps could provide much more points of interests. As far as I know Google Maps allows to add user gathered data.
For example, disabled people could add disability suited toilets to Nokia Maps and other disabled people searching for such a toilet can find it on their Nokia. Just as a thought.

May 22, 2012I just installed Kaspersky mobile, and after a scan I've seen more than 18000 jpegs in E:system, a folder that I cannot access from phone or via Nokia Suite. Is there any way I can browse that folder and delete unwanted files? I think I got lots of useless files there after I installed Nokia Belle since lots of applications dissapeared. Also, I'm trying to see the hidden process that runs on my phone and I have no idea how because that dont shows in the application list. Apr 14, 2012Because my iTunes wasn't syncing my music to my iPhone properly, I tried to reinstall iTunes. I deleted all Apple-programs, except the Bonjour-file. Deleting via Control Panel doesn't work, because I have no access to the file. I can't open it in Program Files because it's damaged and unreadable. How on earth is it even possible that you can't remove one d*mn file from your computer.

Jul 10, 2011I have E7 with symbian anna. A while ago I had to restart my home wifi (due to storm) and during that process a new wifi access point (wlan(01) was created on my phone. After that - as far as I have now understood - my phone stopped syncronising gmails altogether. Also in my provider's network (outside wifi, elisa). In order for my phone to sync emails, i need to reboot it (or just turn it off and on, no need to get the three vibrations when turning off).
Question 1) How do I delete this unncecssary wifi access point on E7? I was able to do it easily on my N900 but not on this E7.
Question 2) Is it likely that the reason my phone stopped syncin gmails is related to this wifi issue? Pressing send & receive won't help, either, nothing happens. I have had this E7 for 1.5 months now, Symbian Anna I've had for 10 days and this problem started 5 days ago. Before that the mails flew in very nicely.
