I recently upgraded my N8, to Belle OS, now ovi music thus not recognize my phone as the one registered for unlimited download. What can I do to make ovi music recognise my phone as registered.

Please refer to Troubleshooting guide in Help".I have made a complaint on 30-Jul and still not able to download any music because of the pathetic service of Nokia I have lost more than 5-6 weeks till now (Including the same issue which I faced in March). My Subscription will end in another months time.
I have provided all the information which nokia support has requested including screen snapshots of the error and still nothing is done to fix the issue. I have been asked to re-register my PC and re-install the software couple of times which I have done but the issue still persists.
after updating to belle, i am not able to login to my ovi music. It shows error message that " We are having trouble determining that this is your registered music edition mobile. Please check it is and try again using different GPRS connection or WLAN". my nokia account username is rohit.shirate.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have copied a couple of mp3 from pc to mobile and refreshed the music library. All the mp3 were working perfect.. After some days i deleted the copied folder. There are other mp3s in music folder in my mmc which i use to hear frequently. Now, after deleting the copied folder, i tried to refresh the library but it says "refresh stopped' and when i click libary details it says 'file is corrupt. Operation cancelled'I can see the album art but cant see any files in that !!! Cross checked the path and played via files.M using belle frmwr vrsn 111.030.0609 which is latest available in my area.

But subsequently upgraded to Windows 7 and therefore lost all my music on my PC.However, once 90 days had passed, I tried to sign in using Ovi Music player, I get a message telling me that this is not my registered PC and asks me whether I am sure I would like to make my current PC my registered PC. However, when I click 'Yes, I'm sure', Ovi music player gives me an error that "something has gone wrong with Ovi music player.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was asked to either take it to the service center or upgrade the firmware. Then I upgraded the firmware and no change. Then since I was busy with work only today I got the opportunity to take it to the service center. I gave it to the service centre they flashed the handset and still no change. Now as per them it has to go to the head office and they have to repair it. I explained to them that this is a new handset what kind of repair are we looking at. She said the system board needs to be replaced as it was over heating.
I do not want to take any chances as the phone us heating up hence I asked her for a brand new one. She said that it is the sole decision of the Company. Hence I have given it for service. Just finished reinstalling my 701 after a factory reset (*#7370#) and reinstall Belle FP1. Restored just data, contacts, messages. Didn't restore apps and config from backup. AND lost long time reinstalling all my apps, one by one. I was pretty happy about the result, when I tried to open OVI Music app... And it wouldn't start! Just shows a circle for less than one second and terminates before starting.

After the upgrade, Nokia Suite could not see any of the existing music on my phone even though it is still there & I can play it through the phone. I added some more music to the phone through the drag & drop function on Nokia suite & now when I try to sync, this isn't visible either. How to get Nokia Suite to see the music on my phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Nokia 701 and I noticed that sometimes after receiving a call (That being after the call ends) if I was listening to the music player the music is slowed down and crackly after the call. (bug occurs atleast with headphones plugged in. Not sure if without. The music is distorted even after I remove my headphones.) This bug can be fixed with a restart.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use nokia 5230. after I updated from 12.0.089 to 20.0.005. I feel better on dragging menu icon, faster and wider screen web browser, more stable music player. but I found some bugs that:
1. When I opened web browser for 3-4 pages with music player and then went to menu(all programs still opened) screen still show contact bar and menu's icons didn't showed.
2. Programs installer are much time freezes if open after downloaded from web browser immediately.
3. Sometime menu icons don't responded espectially specially the Application icon and Log icon
4. Phone lock slide bar sometime vibrate agaist the slide but sometime not.
I bought N97 & transferred some music files from PC. Some them are copied to Menu<Music<Music Library. I want to delete these files. Can anybody guide me for this?
Also How the Music files under Application<Mass Memory<E:<Music can be played as playlist?

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe Music Widget does not jump correctly to the currently playing track when clicked on. It instead goes to the music library list and on top of that does not go the currently active album, but goes to the beginning of the list. Once in that state if you go back to the home screen and use the music shortcut instead, that too will mimic the widget behavior.The only way to correctly jump to the current track is to have the music player in currently playing view then go to the homescreen and use the music shortcut only. Then It behaves correctly.This is an annoying bug when one is listening to music all day at work every day.

So the much awaited belle update is out, however the music player somehow STILL does not sort by album title properly. So here we are, with more than 10 gigs of music all scattered in the music library with album artists names and what not.

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using N86 for the past 2-3 years and this week I switched to nokia n8, I upgraded it to belle the very first day and everything seems to be working well n good except for this thing. I have above 700 songs in my music library and there is no way to mark multiple songs in the music library of nokia n8 so that I can add them to specific playlists. Is there some simpler way to do this maybe I am missing it because its my first experience with a touch phone. OR has nokia been so ignorant that this feature was not implemented in this OS, which I personally think is not possible (cos I don't expect such a thing from Nokia btw). I don't want to long press every single song and then add to playlist and repeat the same process for above 700 records it will take me a whole day I guess.

But it does not seem to give me the option when i click on it i get an error saying "Unable to define data bearer once defined. Define New access point".
