Nokia Lumia :: Transferring Contacts From IPhone To 920

I just bought new 920 and want to transfer my all iphone contacts. There is nice application in my 920, "transfer my data". So after getting bluetooth on from both phones I did use that app, and it told only contact information in available for transfer. I did choose it and after running from 0% to 100% my 920 said "done".
Now when I go to my 920 phonebook, I cannot see any contacts? Where it has transferred them? I have disabled getting contact from facebook and hotmail because I really do not need all my 500 facebook "friends" information to my phone. They are not real friends and just mixing up my phonebook too much. I had/have all needed information in my iphone contact list but cannot get them in 920.
I can't seem to find any good source that explains how to do this! My sim card has no contacts on it, and you cant export them from the iPhone to the sim card, I'm lost as to what I can do to keep my contacts! how to transfer contacts from iPhone to Lumia 920?
I don't know if this has been talked about before, but I'd like to know what to do exactly when I want to go from my L800 to my brand new L920. I'd like to take contacts, music, pictures, accounts, apps etc... to my 920
Is there a way on a Nokia 6500C phone to transfer the messages and contacts to an Android based phone? I have been hearing that you can use Vcard, but unfotunatelly this phone has no export function. Ovi Suite doesn't help and just plugging in the USB cable to the phone without using Ovi Suite does not list contacts in the file list. And this phone has no memory card either so I cannot transfer the contents to the card either.
Just bought the 920 on Friday and I can not transfer any files to it. I have tried Windows explorer as well as the Windows Desktop App. I can see my phone in explorer and I an click to open the Music folder. When I try to copy/paste to there it just hangs and then I get an error message to stop or skip copying? I am using Windows 7 SP1. This is a deal breaker if I can't get music and photos on here.
Is there a way to tranfer my contacts from my old iPhone 3g to my new iPhone 4s?Most of my contacts were deleted and I'm not sure if it's on my outlook and I tried resotring it but the file was corrupted.
I seem to be having some difficulty transferring my old contacts from my old iPhone to my new Nexus 5. I believe the easiest way to do this is via iTunes by going on info and syncing the contacts to Google but when I try to do this there is no option for syncing with Google only Windows and another. I have my gmail account set up on my phone and even set up a Google 'CardDav' account.
I just switched from an iPhone 4S to a Blackberry Bold..both on the Verizon Wireless network. I want to know if there is a way I can transfer my contacts. I am using the BES Server for work emails and i couldn't find a way to export my contacts from my Address Book on my mac to the Microsoft Outlook contacts.

Cant understand why the backup to PC of vital Lumia phone information such as contacts, calendar and messges can not be easily and quickly achieved as with the Nokia suite and N8. I believe it is synced automatically to Sky-drive but I cannot find evidence of this. I would like to have control of this data for easy retrieval and stored on my PC. Windows phone software on my PC is sub standard in comparison with Nokia Suite. It is clunky, contacts cannot be backed up, photos have no picture reference when transferred and the overall Windows Phone software on my PC is second rate in contrast to the Windows Phone 8 phone experience. Can anyone enlighten me on how I can easily copy my contacts to PC. No problem getting contacts into the phone. Just unclear on how to get a copy of them out.
i switched from iphone to lumia 920 and not all my contacts transferred. i already added my gmail account where my contacts are stored, but not all showing up. here's an example: my iphone is no longer active but still connected via wifi. a text showed up on that phone (from another iphone user) but it did not show up on my new lumia 920.
Is there a way to transfer my pictures from my lumia to the m8? It seems the m8 does not want to allow me to open the files after I sent them to the phone.
I have them in my dropbox, but I wanted to use some of them as contact and lock screen pictures.
All I have left from my old BlackBerry Bold 9000 is the IPD backup files (I no longer have the phone). Can I transfer the contacts from these backup files to my new BlackBerry Bold 9650?
AT&T replaced my defective Curve 9300. I have already sent back the old phone but I did a backup right before doing so. I'd like to put the contacts from that backup onto the new Curve however the Switch Device Wizard won't do it without connecting the old phone. How do I get the contacts from that backup file onto my new device?
I have an Xperia X10 for 3 months. The contacts file uploaded from windows to google ok, but the sync with the X10 continuously failed & only worked properly last week. Since then, process acore keeps forcing closed when in contacts or settings!There are approximately 3000 contacts in the file. Has anyone come across this and found a solution? If anyone knows a better way to transfer contacts from windows to android, speak up ,I have tried the phone dealer and manufacturer, both have ignored the question.
I tried following instructions on how to transfer my BBM contacts over from my Bold 9780 to my new 9900 but I am having difficulties!
I have tried to "switch devices" to my new Bold 9900, from my 9780, but when it is switching to the new device, it keeps getting stuck on "backing up on-board memory" and doesn't continue to switch the data over.

I've backup the 8310 so have the contacts on my PC. When I try to restore selected data it doesn't offer me the option to do the contacts saying that they are read only!
