Nokia Lumia :: Music Update 3.0.77.745 With OS 8107.79?
Jul 9, 2012
Following the update yesterday, Mix Radio and Gigs disappeared from the selection list in Nokia Music app. They worked perfectly ok until then. No changes to accounts or the phone were made.
Nokia Music is supported in Singapore but I can't update the application to its latest version 3.1 because it says "This app is not available for you device". Many users around the world are unable to update too, as seen from your support forums.
I have a Nokia Unlimited Account for the Nokia Music app on my Lumia 800. I would like to move my downloaded music from the app/phone to my MacBook Pro.
I have a Nokia 5800 express music. I had some trouble with it, when I turned it on, it just startet vibrating without starting, so I got that fixed. Now it won't update or transfer music. Since I got it back from the Nokia store, it have not been working with update on my computer. While it was repaired I also installed Windows 7.
after symbian anna 1/2 and 2/2 update in my nokia n8,i failed to sign in automatically to ovi music .it is saying" you couldnt be signed in automatically, please sign in manually".please give a solution .also there is no option to log in manually to ovi music.
I have an issue with my music library not updating folder/genre information when I refresh. Songs are present and correct but the folder will not update (i.e. I deleted a song but the number on the folder does not show this change or I removed a specific genre but that genre folder remains)- I have seen this issue with a number of Nokia music player phones and was wondering if anything was ever resolved, There was a workaround for the 5800 (show hidden folders and delete a load of .dat files) but this does not work for my C7 with Belle?
Since the Lumia Cyan update (2 weeks ago in the UK) the Xbox music live tile no longer works. Before the update ... When you were playing music, the artist picture would show on the tile and then have the name of the artist running across the tile. Looked really nice and smooth.
Since the update though there is nothing. The tile just shows the headphones...
The song title and artist does not display when streaming music from Nokia Music on my Windows Phone through my car stereos' bluetooth connection. It also does not allow me to skip songs using my car stereo.
The Zune music player on my Windows Phone has this functionality.
For some reason, since yesterday, my phone has had sound problems. With earphones in, I can hear calls and music ok, and same with loudspeaker, but without earphones in or loudspeaker on, I can't hear music or the other person who is calling. Also, the person who I've rang/has called me can't hear me either. Ringtones and text tones work perfectly normal.
HeMy Lumia 800 currently suffers from bugs in Nokia Music: you listen to some music and often after 20/25min the volume goes off (sets it to 0) and you can't recover it. If you don't try to restart the phone and leaves the volume at 0, the sounds may occasionally recover at 30 before disappearing again after a couple of secs. I could not find any fix in this forum, is there any?
I recently bought a Nokia Lumia 920 being a Nokia loyalist all the way...Never touched an iPhone or Android for that matter...For past 1 week I am trying to transfer music to my phone but the Windows Phone app that's needed to do it is buggy and crashes every time. Now, all I am left with is 14 songs in my phone...If it doesn't work for few more days I will have no option but to return the phone...
I have installed Zune on my pc but when I connect my phone there it just says Connection failed. Please restart and try again or something like that. I have reinstalled it,tried everything in forums like reseting the phone, deleting some stuff from Zune folder and auto-fixing it but nothing helped, what can I do in order to get some videos and music to my lumia?
Love the phone and hopefully this is a basic operation I missed somewhere, but when I connect handsfree to my Bluetooth in the car, calls work great but when I play music it comes out the phone's speakers and not the car.
Similar when I plugged in the phone to a USB input on a boombox, the music plays from Zune over the phone's speakers.
I was about to go somewhere and wanted to put a new album on my phone before going. One hour later I have to conclude its impossible, because it wants to copy 600 images to my computer FIRST, even thoguh I never told it to. Synch is on manual, and it has to do this first before synching the music. When I first got the phone, teh worst thing about WP was the synching design, which I knew I hated. On android I could copy the music in 1 min and be off, but now I have to settle with the few sings I put on it. Also I cant even delete the 600 images beofre copying them all to teh computer!
I am trying to get the custom ringtones onto my 920 but zune does support the 920, how to transfer the mp3 tones so that the custom folder appears in the ringtone section. The phone is using windows 8.
when I unplug my headphones music (in my case podcast) continues to play when I unplug my headphones. The audio comes out the built in speakers at the bottom of the phone. Other times, I get a short (less than 1 second) bit of sound out of the bottom built in speakers. This is really annoying to my wife who wakes up from the sound when I unplug my headphones in bed after she has gone to sleep. I expect no sound out of the peakers when I unplug the headset. Seems like a timing issue and a surprise removal can be hard to deal with, but you got it right with the 900.I used to have that phone before the 920 and it never had that issue.
last night a friend came around mine so i thought i would use have laptop whilst he had it with him to get some up to date music. i simply plugged my usb in and then dragged and dropped some of his music into the music file on the phone. all looked so simple to me. there were some messages that came up regarding some of the files not working but my friend said he got those messages when he transferred to his itunes also.
when i go to play these songs i can barely hear them at all but i can play Internet videos with volume fine, i can play things within the nokia music mix thing, i can hear my system sounds, i can hear my ringtone. i have tried the basic obvious things of looking at settings on my phone etc but the fact that all other music works has made me assume it's not a settings issue on my phone.
only other thing i have since tried is transferring from my phone to my fiancees laptop, deleting all the songs from the phone and then i put an album back on. no luck, didn't work. really gutted at the moment, just got this phone and love it but i will be gutted if there is some sort of weird restrictions causing me to not just take music from a pc.
I cannot change the music volume at all. If I try to change the volume with the buttons on the side of the phone as directed in the "how to" guide then nothing happens. The ringer volume changes, but the music does not.
I wanted to install Nokia Music app which is currently absent on my phone. But, I can't find the app anywhere in marketplace, not even in Nokia collection!
In Nokia Music the only option is to repeat the whole album or playlist but not repeating a particular song like zune player could? this is something cann be done quite easily
know any app that can wirelessly transfer music from pc to lumia 920. I know zune is out of the question because there is no zune for lumia 920 (I think they should bring that back in and update).I tried a lot of advice from many posts already, and non of them work. My computer just won't read my Lumia 920 just by using the usb calbe. It kept saying "MTB USB Driver Failed", and I will just have to accept that instead of losing myself for it.
It says network problem but everything NOT nokia works fine like IE and multiplayer games. when i try to log into nokia music or even nokia account in settings it gives me a network problem. i tried this on wifi and 4g. didnt work but everything else did. i have nokia 810 (tmobile)
My phone and apps are up to date and yet both Nokia Music and Music + Videos apps seem to be very buggy. In Nokia Music you can't fast forward songs (from what I can tell) In both apps, you can't skip songs, sometimes a song won't even play unless you manually launch another song and then go back and pick the first song. Sometimes a song has some weird audio glitches but other times it plays just fine. Once a songs stops playing, it goes back to song list instead of playing the following songs. I downloaded a free third party player and it doesn't seem to have any of these issues. Come on, Nokia/Microsoft, I shouldn't rely on third party apps to play my songs properly.
