Jun 6, 2012When maps are downloaded and installed on Nokia Drive, how can it be determined that they have been updated so that the installed version can be refreshed in Nokia Drive?If there is no way to determine it, can Nokia consider adding this as a feature request for the next release of Nokia Drive? In addition:
1) Connect Nokia Maps application with Nokia Drive so that selecting an address should use Nokia Drive for navigation.
2) Nokia Maps does not allow to copy the address of a POI in the clipboard on Windows Phone. Please support this.
3) Nokai Drive should support set a home location that should be easily accessible (just like it is in other navigation apps).
4) Support for favorites in Nokia Drive. These should be available offline and also remain insync with the favorites marked in Nokia Maps (which are now synchronized with the user's account).
5) Nokia Drive does not support show the route details for a particular route - this is helpful in getting an overview of the route that will be taken to reach the destination. Please support this.
6) Nokia Drive can give longer/unoptimized routes when compared with other providers like Google or Bing maps. Can you please bring the routing quality upto par with the competition?
7) It will be nice to see weather at destination from within Nokia Drive when a route is being planned.

I installed the latest update a day ago, and now my phone has rebooted twice on its own today.

Jul 12, 2012My Lumia 800 has been relegated to status of spare phone but out of curiosity did the update to see what difference there is and now can't send MMS.I'm on T-Mobile UK.All worked perfectly before. Have tried their "we'll send you the setting"automated help which didn't work as their message to me didn't get through. Don't know if I care enough to call their customer care.

Jul 7, 2012I updated my Nokia lumia 800 today, in Denmark. When updtae was finish there were a sim card problem and no signal. I, of course, tried to restore the phone with Zune, but this is not possible I only get the 801812E0 error. I tried soft and hard reset and whatever, but nothing seems to work, it looks like my sim card is fried. My wife then took the phone to the shop, and they said I had to order a new sim card, but it is not true, because the sim card works just fine if I put it into another phone. I don't care about any of the data that was on the phone, I just want it to work again.

Jun 20, 2012It was just officially annouced by Microsoft 40 minutes ago at the Windows Phone Summit that current windows phones would get WP 7.8 update with some features of WP8 but not WP8 itself.
The biggest worry is that WP8 will allow native code for apps, and that many apps will thus not work on "older" phones.
The Lumia 900 is only a few months old and the 800 and 710 and 610 are not much older (all are less than 9 months on the market), but they will not be getting Windows Phone 8 update just like all first generation Windows Phones. Nokia must have known for some time as well that current Lumia buyers would not get WP8 update, this seems unfair especially for Lumia 900 buyers.
How does Nokia plan to make this more fair for current Lumia users?

Jul 27, 2012Just wanted to put this out there as I wondered if anyone else was having the same issues as me since there latest update (which took embarrassingly a good 30minutes to do) Since the update my phone is struggling to coupe with even scrolling through and screen, it lags very horribly and is very frustrating when on the home screen and need to get to the bottom tiles but seems to only let you scroll one line of tiles at a time . . . Also very,very annoying with the lock screen because it drops before it lets you attempt to catch it on the lag to unlock.Problems with market keeps showing me errors when wanting to download anything, usually I have to press through the errors three times, Same thing happens when trying to sync my emails. Web pages do not always display first time normally have to refresh a few times.Also this has always happened even before the update, every couple of weeks my phone shows as call divert symbol but when you go into the menu to see if it is, it really isn't so you have to put it on divert and undivert in order to return to normal.

Jul 19, 2012I have been trying to update my Lumia which I haven't updated since I bought it in February this year. When I try to update in the Zune software, a message tells me my phone is up to date.
The current software loaded onto the phone is version 7.10.8107.79 which clearly is an older version. The precise message I get on the Zune software is as follows:
"Your phone is up to date Current phone software version: 7.10 (8107)"
Also, no updates are found when I check for updates on the phone itself.

Because I was using my work laptop I got the Zune message that updating is not recommended as I am not using my primary computer. So I cancelled the update. Now when I check the update at home, Zune says I am up to date (with the my current fw 12070) also phone is saying no updates found.

I connect to Windows Phone 7 connector on OSX, but there is no update available. The Nokia FAQ says that updates 'After 5 days, all eligible phones will receive update notifications.' As o2 have already pushed updated to their versions of the Lumia. How can I force an update my phone?

Dec 21, 2012Just would like to let the powers that be know that my yellow AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 (which I love!) is still having problems with freezing even after the latest update which I installed on 12-19-2012. I'm wondering if this problem will ever be fixed or if I should just resign myself to this issue and accept it as part of owning this device? I really enjoy my Lumia phone, having moved from the iPhone. In fact, I enjoy it so much, I'm hoping a tablet version would be made. However, if the problem with the phone continues for another week, I may have to call AT&T to get a replacement 920.

After perform the update, I noticed that when making or receiving calls, the screen immediately turned off and is not turned on again until the other person hung up.I did the tests in the diagnostic menu, and the proximity sensor always shows "detected".The problem is the same as in this post [URL]....I did a rollback to the previous version and the problem was solved, but went update to Tango again, the problem reappears.
