Lumia 900 is almost unusable with a Bluetooth headset.I have paired it with 2 Plantronics Voyager Pro HD headsets, a BluAnt Q2 and several lower end sets. I decided it was not the headsets and swapped the phone out at my local ATT&T store and I still have the exact same result. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I'm paired my Lumia 800 with my Sennheiser MM450 bluetooth headset. When I check voicemail or use the phone features the sound comes through the headset. Unfortunately, when I go to the Zune player or Xbox Live, the sound comes out the speakerphone on the Lumia 800, not the headset. I go back to phone or voicemail and the sound comes out the bluetooth headset. The MM450 headset also can be plugged into the phone with a 3.5mm cord, and the sound comes through the headset on all applications: phone, voicemail, Zune, Xbox Live.Is this a bluetooth issue with Windows Phone 7.5 or with the Lumia 800?
I have this problem since day one. Build .29, then came the FW update, then build .63, always the same. I did a hard reset three times since I have the phone but the problem is still here. And now to the actual problem: I have a plantronics voyager legend headset and sometimes during a call, sometimes when not in a call, the phone disconnects from the headset and it seems to be frozen, I can't even unlock the screen for 5-10 seconds. Bluetooth option becomes gray and sometimes BT turns on again after 10-15s, sometimes I have to reboot the phone because BT can't be turned on. Same thing happens when the phone is connected to my car, but when it's playing music on bluetooth speaker, everything is working ok.
I have this great bluetooth headset I use to work out with and I would love to be able to listen to the radio using these instead of having to plug in a wired headset. I know it uses the wired headset as a antenna so maybe there is a plug in antenna that will still let the music flow to the bluetooth headset?
Did a search and came up with a couple of models, but for all you E71 users out there - I'm in the market for a new Bluetooth headset for my E71-2.Any recommendations? I've come across good reviews for the Motorola H715 and the Nokia BH-602.
I am very disappointed. My lovely new n900 (updated to latest firmware after getting it out of box and no apps installed yet) does not recognise my BH-202 headset. This is DESPITE the nokia site saying it is compatible.Does anyone know how to make it work or if it or any other nokia headset does (although I don't see why I should need to buy a new one). I am pretty sure it violates some consumer law to say something is compatible and will work, and then for it not to work..... I desperately need bluetooth as I take calls while driving for business LOTS.
I have a new 5530 and a headset BH208.What happend was when I connect my phone the the headset it seemed working fine, but after talking for like about 30 min or so the phone got disconnected from the headset and started to freeze, I can do nothing but restart the phone. I tried unauthorizing the connection but the problem still unsolved. I had an E71 b4 and I was using the same headset without any problem, so I think there might be some issue with the bluethooth in 5530...pretty disappointed...this might be the last nokia for me..
if it is possible to have automatic connection for a Bluetooth headset? My Plantonics Voyager Pro worked fine with my E71 just enable bluetooth on the phone and it connected. On my N8 I have to manually connect to the headset everytime, which is a pain.
Am I doing something wrong?, or is this feature not available on the N8?
So I've bought a Nokia 503 bluetooth headset 1 month ago. I've charged it several times since I really use it a lot and haven't dropped it since then. But now, I plugged it in the charger and the red light doesn't turn on anymore. I tried a different nokia charger but still, it doesn't work. The chargers that I tried worked on my phone though.Whenever the headset is charged, it's settings on its connectivity resets, so everytime i charge it, i need to reconnect the bluetooth of my phone. So, I tried if the settings reset, but unfortunately, it didn't,. so my bluetooth headset really is not charging anymore.
I've found that when i'm making a call from my car using Bluetooth the sound is very distorted, and the person receiving the call is having problems hearing the conversation clearly, but i can hear them with no problem. My question is - how can i change the settings on my S2 to resolve this.
When i connect my old headsets from my nokia asha and nokia c3, they fit fine, and perfectly in the headset socket, however i cant vaigly hear anything, even though the volume is on full. Do i need a special nokia lumia 800 headset, or are the ones ive used adequate? They do fit perfectly in the audio socket so i dont see why i cant hear much from them, the 2 headsets ive tried work fine in the asha and can hear loud and clear
I have a Nokia 5800 and Nokia BH-212 bluetooth headset. Is it possible to play music when driving using an FM transmitter plugged in to the headphone socket on the phone, to play through the car stereo speakers, and to use the headset to kick in in case someone calls whilst I'm driving and listening to music? I'm getting the music through the bluetooth thing.
I have a Nokia 5530 and one of my friends had a Nokia 5800. We both have the same problem with our headset we bought (the mrhandsfree Blue twin).we can pair them and this is no problem, we authorise it and again, no problem. It connects with the headset. After a few seconds, the connection is lost without a reason. We can connect it again by pushing the button on the headset, but this starts the voice dial. I want to be able to use voice dial, but only when i want it (normally, it is when you push the heatsetbutton a few seconds). The only way to remain connected with the headset is to play music, it plays through the headset and the connection stays on.When the headset is off and i put it on, the phone can see the headset and connects. It disconnects again after a few seconds.
When we get called, we can't accept the phonecall. the phone just rings, if we push the button on the headset, it connects with the headset and the sound goes perfectly through the headset. If i push the button to pick up, it disconnects the call. Why can't i stay connected with my phone and headset?
My N8 connects to my bluetooth headset and functions flawlessly usually. But whenever I connect my N8 via bluetooth to my PC it stops pairing with the headset. The moment it connects with the PC, the headset icon appears in my N8, despite it not having paired the headset.
I ride my bike with the N8 used as a navigation aid sometimes. With my bluetooth headset connected, I am able to receive calls and make calls if necessary. However, I am not able to hear the navigational instructions. Is this function available, or I have not set the correct settings, or it needs an upgrade etc?
i would like to pair my Nokia BH-104 bluetooth headset with my HP laptop running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit.I can pair the headset but the drivers are not installed correctly. It is decognzed as a Bluettoth Periphelial Device, but not as a headset. Updating the drivers fails.
I have a Nokia BH-505stereo bluetooth headset, but it only works with my Nokia phones C7 and N900, not with a PC.I can establish a connection to my PCs, but there's no sound coming from the headset, instead it keeps coming from the PC's loudspeakers.I have 1 desktop PC (+bluetooth dongle) dual booting Windows XP and LInux Mint Debian Edition , and a laptop (bt built-in) dual booting Win 7 and Lubuntu 12.04 - the problem is the same on all 4 OSs.
I have a relatively severe issue with the Bluetooth audio quality on my phone. It sounds pretty much exactly like 64kbits MP3, you can especially hear it in the high frequencies. It's somehow distorted and unclear and extremely annoying as it ruins the experience totally.
Everyone who heard sound over my Bluetooth devices has heard this. The weird thing: I experienced this with both my Galaxy S5 (G900F) and my Galaxy S6 (G920F) and every single Bluetooth device that is connected to them. I tried it with my Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter, Denon AVR X1100W, Logitech Boombox and my car stereo Kennwood KDC-BT35U. The audio quality is always the same.
However, with my Nexus 5, my Galaxy Tab S8.4 and my Laptop, the audio quality over Bluetooth is great! Also, if I use the headphone jack on my Galaxys, it sounds just fine. I mostly use Spotify and Google Play Music, but the problem is not there since it sounds great when using a cord.
N8 does not support changing a Bluetooth headset's volume via the phone's hardware controls and software buttons: There's no changes in volume until you reach the mute position. All volume control has to be done via the headset's hardware controls. Quite nagging if you e.g. like to decrease the volume of navigation instructions while driving with your headset on: Navigation voice hammers to your ears.
I've been having problems with my Lumia 800's headset (the official one supplied with the phone). First of all the microphone stopped working then, whilst listening to audio, the volume turned itself down to zero, without any action on my part. If I unplug the headset I can turn the volume back up, but as soon as I plug the headset back in in turns itself down again.
just wondered if its possible to connect BOTH bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth headset at the same time in iPhone 4 OS? or is it as its now and can only support one connection at time?
I did not have any problems using earpod with HTC Titan 1.At Microsoft's BUILD conference, Nokia gave us their 920 (great phone, btw), but it does look like 920 is compatible with EarPod:
1. Mic does not work. 920 does not recognise voice commands when earpod is plugged in
2. When I try to call anybody while earpod is plugged inm, i hear high pitched noise in the headset. I dont hear that noise when i play music, though.
Is there such a thing available for current Asha and Lumia models? Just like the Apple - In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic for iPod and iPhone. I know, I know, the Nokias are wired differently so the Iphone Headset will not work(?). But I still need the fast forward and rewind buttons to conveniently listen to audio books.
My Lumia 900 is stuck in headset mode, even when I have pulled the headset out. I cannot hear/talk on the phone unless I go into speaker mode. I cannot hear any music or audio.. If I plug my headset back up I hear everything fine through the headset. I need to be able to use the phone without the headset!
