I have had problems with my phone for quite a while now, but last night I reset the phone and everythings fine now except for on thing! My music won't play because it took the licenses off! I have 173 songs so that's QUITE a lot.

I purchased a nokia N8 with a ovi music unlimited package.Initially everything was fine but some days latter suddenly whenever I download songs through Ovi player and transfer them to Nokia N8, the phone dosent play them and says 'Licence expired or missing. Get new license?' and then each song takes a minute or so to get a new licence key.

It stated that i did not have the correct license to listen to it and that i should try to get it over air. It then leads me onto the internet where i have to enter in my Ovi store username and password, i enter in the correct details but it tells me that i need to allow cookies to access the next page, the only problem is that i have already allowed cookies, why does it not recognize this?

But when i play music in mini music player (xpress buttons) shuffle works.
As there appear to be some UK 5800 owners with this problem. How about - for those people that have phones locked on a providers software/firmware and the map license has expired (like me on 3 in the UK at 30.0.011) that Nokia give us a free license for the current version?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi had transferred my music downloaded on my phone to my pc but was unable to play it on the pc then i registered my pc on the ovi player still cant play the files it says that the songs are protected under microsoft VRM & needs small update which i tried to run but it continues to say that cant connect to internet whereas i m connected to the internet.

Although the files will play from the E52 in Ovi Player, the E52 itself will not detect the files during Library Refresh. I had had same problem with Nokia 5800 when I had old firmware on ck-300, but after upgrade firmware to version 1.6 everything worked correct. Now problem back for HTC Legend.

"not enough memory" pops up but I have 20mb free file for my 2 gig memory card and 30mb for the phone memory. I've tried updating the files thur "update music library" but still the same issue. The music can play but i have to go to my memory card just to pick a song and its so much better with the music player application....

When I click on the "30 s sample" play button, the button turns into a revolving "doing something" indicator but the sample never starts to play. I have used this exact same computer before and sometimes it has started to play and sometimes is has not. I have never had problems playing the songs I have already purchased, they start playing immediately.
This is a Windows 7 Home Premium laptop with the latest Ovi Player on WLAN. I have tried rebooting the computer and the network router. I have also tried clearing the network browser cache and cookies. I have tried to play samples without Ovi Player just by connecting to [url]... using Firefox and IE, but playing the samples just does not start. I have also tried another computer, a desktop computer with Windows Vista with the latest Ovi Player with a wired connection to the same router, but playing the samples does not work there, either. The samples have worked sometimes on that computer, too. And also that computer plays the existing songs like a charm.
i just bought a Nokia J few days ago.everything works fine, but when i try to listen music with it, it sounds a bit blur compared to other headset like Bh-111. is it normal?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?
I tried to play some music from my memory card with the music player in Nokia 3500c but it didn't work. Can someone help me on how to fix this?

But the genre does not appear. I listen to podcasts on a daily basis, and i have to play them manually. I only use the default music player on the e52.
