A friend gave me his E72, but when I put my sim into it I found I was still receiving his email on the business profile. It had also updated his contacts on his new phone with mine.How do I remove the profile and stop the connection between mine and his phone? Any help would be appreciated as we both really need to get this fixed.

If there is a way that I can have a CAR profile that keeps the screen lit permanently and turns off the Device Lock, so I can just select that profile and not have to change each setting all the time, it would be great!Does anyone know such a utility? The phone will not use this ringtone , so I went to Settings / General /Personalisation / Tones / ringing tone and if I make this tone same as Profiles then all my calls go to Voicemail. View 6 Replies View RelatedI got this Nokia 500XM phone and when I want to change the ringtone in the profiles it takes ages and just has the scroling bar with opening at the top. I have found a cumbersome work around and that is to take out the memory card but then that just mean I have to stick with the pre-installed ones or copy the selected mp3 file to the phone memory. Is there any way to cut down this wait when I have the memory card inserted? - I wonder if I have added all my mp3 songs to the right folder on the memory card I think I put them in the Music (E: 8gb memory) folder on the memory card I wonder if this is whats causing the problem should they be in another folder? its an 8gb card with 3404mb (3.4gb) and 325 songs or more.

When I'm driving I use the 5230 as a music player, and it is very frustrating that it locks in the same way as it does when it is in my pocket.I always have the 5230 plugged in / charging to an in-car charger when I'm in the car, so having the screen permanently lit would be good.I can't see a way of making the screensaver / keyguard change depending on profiles. Perhaps there is an app that does it?

I have a problem in setting ring tone and message tone.When i trying to set ringing tone or message alert tone in the Profiles(General) it showing an error message as "Not enough memory to show all ringing tones. only tones in read only memory will be displayed". But my phone memory has 50.1 MB free space and My memory card has 1.2 GB memory space.

seems that I can't personalise the profiles (Tools -> Profiles) on my E63 anymore. Which is odd.
I get the Personalise menu item but pressing it just results in nothing happening. Yes I've restarted my phone too
One of my bosses just came to me with their 8310 and they are having a pecuilar problem. They were complaning about not hearing their phone ringing, so I attempted to go to their 'Profiles' icon to fix the settings, but it was missing. I then unhid everything and it still didn't show up. I restarted the phone and checked the hide/unhide settings again and still nothing. Does anyone have any idea where the profile went or how I can get it back?

1) I was looking at my buddies phone, and his keyboard doesn't light up. Is there a setting somewhere? Or is it possible this its just not working properly? I've owned plenty of bb's but never ran into this before. So I'm thinking something is wrong with the phone.
2) Is there a way to toggle between 2 profiles? I know how to do it with other bb's, but I can't figure it out on his phone.
