I just bought a Samsung Impact (T794) without a data plan. Is there a way to copy downloaded Java games into the Games Cell Folder through the USB?Whenever I try, I can only copy it to the other folders on the phone or Mini-SD card and the phone will not recognize/run the program in Java.
For a long time AT&T nee Cingular has locked me out of their MEdia (AT&T) Mall, and prevented me from running desirable apps by signing them with a "secret" certificate only available on their branded phones.Well, thanks to a2uploader and the recent acquisition of a locked AT&T phone I have been able to snag these Preferred and Trusted Java signing root certificates. As well as the entire AT&T customization package, which gives me a good template to play with my own if I so desire. (As an aside, I can also now download from the AT&T Mall using a Firefox add-on which allows me to spoof a particular supported phone's User-Agent string.)I digress. When I sent these certificates to my unlocked K850i it places them in the Trusted Cert store rather than the Java Cert store and the apps still have problems running and fail to install using the signed JAD. I have not tried it, but I assume my K790a will behave the same way. Now, the XML which defines the AT&T customizations references the certificates as well as the proper store location for them. Is this my only way to force a cert into the Java store? This also leads into how can I install client certificates?

I downloaded a couple of apps from Sony Ericsson's web site including a game that I used to play on my Sony Ericsson Z520a phone previoulsy, called "Quadrapop." It's a free Java application, and there was a version specific to the Satio, which is also an S60 5 edition phone, just like the 5800 which I am trying to install on.
When I try installing it, I get a message, "Certificate error" followed by something to the effect of, "contact supplier" I have been able to install some other Satio Java apps on my 5800, but not Quadrapop. Is there anything I can do do get around this issue?
i went on the ovi store and realized that i had to purchase the games and apps. so then i went on another site and download stuff instead, i dont really trust anyways, cos it say it might cause harm to my phone, btw, the download doesn't even work! can someone tell me how to download game and apps and store it in my phone in the correct file and such.AND the face book app thingy in my phone doesn't work, whenever i click on it it says no internet connection, when there is, cos if i click on google, then type in facebook and log in then it works, but not directly to the facebook app originally there when i turn on the phone.

I recently picked up a Nokia Asha 300; I am able to start the pre-installed apps and games without problems. However, after downloading some games and apps from the ovi store, I noticed that every time I started one of them, it asked to go online. If I didn't let it, it wouldn't start.
I do not intend to use this phone with any kind of data plan, at least currently. And even if I did, does that mean I would never be able to start any downloaded games while on a plane or somewhere without any network coverage? Or am I just missing something?
I am having trouble with my phone after updating it recently. I use apps and games from Offscreen Technology which are available on Ovi Store. But after I update my phone to PR1.2, all those Offscreen games and apps are working so laggy. But it was really smooth before I update my phone. I think all the N900 owners are having same problem as me. Is there any solution to fix it?
My Nokia asha 202 handset is frustrating me as it cannot open downloaded (nokia related) apps and games. When I try opening a downloaded app it says 'file format not supported. Also, some of the files (music) I receive via bluetooth don't play.
