Nokia :: Disappearing Masseges In N97 - Possible To Recover Them?

I received a voice message from one of my friends and i opened the Inbox but the phone was saying (memory full, close some application and try again) and hang...
I switched the device off and after few seconds on again but there was no network & battery signals at all. After that I switched off again and I removed the battery and put it back again and the phone started OK but the problem was (more than 3000 messages in my inbox and other personal folders disappeared!!!! I tried to switch it back off and on again but the messages are GONE) for your information (I'm not using memory card and i was using the MASS MEMORY & the strange thing (all the contacts saved in the phone are still there) ONLY the messages have been gone and I don't know where...
Is there any way to recover them and bring them back or they are permanently deleted from the phone? And how are they got deleted...

I am using a Nokia E71.Some of my contacts have disappeared from my phone. They are not on the sim, phone or memory card; they have just disappeared.I have not connected my phone to my computer recently, so it isn't Nokia Ovi Suite which has deleted them via sync.I've taken the precaution of deleting Ovi Store from the installations on my phone, now I have Email from 3, Skype, Google and Windows Messenger.Please could somebody tell me why my phone is doing this and how to prevent it?

I've had some fun with the phone lately, in that I've re-flashed it a few times. The SW Version was unknown after updating to 51 OTA, then flashed with Global, then back to UK and then updated to 51 OTA again (as can't download 51 UK yet).
Now noticing that the Widgets have a habit of randomly disappearing off my desktop, so I have to re-add them. Not sure what causes it or why,

I have an E75. Is there anyone out there who could tell me what's happening? I've set the memory the phone will use to save messages to the memory card. Each time the phone discharges and I am not able to plug it in before it does, all my messages disappear. Now I really don't know what's wrong.Anyone out there with an answer? Or anyone who could at least narrow it down?

On my E72 i have my ntlworld.com (outlook express email account), my yahoo and googlemail account. The yahoo and googlemail work fine and the inbox,sent etc emails are as they should be and stay on the phone and on my PC at home when i log in but on my outlook account when i read the emails on my phone they disappear from the inbox (and phone) and are not there when i check on outlook express at home? when i first got the E72 it worked fine and emails i looked at on my phone remained on the phone and were at home on outlook express still?
i havent done anything different? i use this address currently to receive wedding RSVP's and they are disappearing? I cannot beleive i am the only one suffering this.

Ok, lots of posts on how to clear the memory in my 5800 express music: I hit *#7370# to reset, and whoopee my available memory jumps from 700Kb to 73Mb. But then when I start to reinstall the apps I've lost. I've only installed ViewRanger (1.7Mb), and the memory has already dropped to 28Mb. I daren't install anything else. Is there any way to stop this problem recurring?

Had my Nokia N8 for about a year now, recently updated to Belle and I think it looks lovely but I've had so many problems since. Now this new one has started and I don't know if it's a bug that I can fix or not, randomly it loses the contact name associations when I open up the text message inbox. It just comes up with the phone numbers, the contacts are still there and when I reset the phone it goes back to normal.

Strange bug after Nokia Camera update. All the pictures I took in the weekend seemingly disappeared from my Camera roll album. However, when I connected my phone to the PC, they all showed up on the phone's HD.

I just buy asha 202 ... I was using mail function to access my gmail but after using 1st day it gets disappear from main menu and when i switchd off and restart the phone its get appear and after using phone for 1 minute it gets disappearkindly assist me i m very disappointd with dis type of errors in new phone of nokia

My N82 randomly decided to keep rebooting. After loading the standby screen the phone resets itselft after about 3 seconds. I have a new phone (E72) as the N82 was in pretty bad condition anyway but I need to recover my contacts (preferably messages as well).I have tried taking the memory card out, taking the battery out etc.
Is there a safe mode for the N82? I suspect the problem is caused by one of the programs loading automatically when the phone starts up.

I'm using Nokia x2-01. In just a twinKle of an eye I Lost all the preinstalled games and apps, all the gallery files and web browser including six menu items of the phone they are calculator; life tools, chat, communities and mail. I have a Nokia nuron 5230. After a master reset can you recover the apps you had installed before? The memory card still shows the same free space, so the apps are still there somewhere, I jsut can't find them through the file organizer yet

On default, contacts are stored in telephone (not sd card or sim card), so is it possible to somehow recover a deleted contact? there's at least a slight chance... I know that phone memory doesn't use Fat32 File system, then which one does it use? The one that doesn't have a possibility of recovering

To recover my notes written in my NOKIA N97 as I've loist them cuz I had to hard reset my mobile due to Start up failed contact retailer error was originated and it hanged my phone and I was unable to create backup of notes and after hard reset all of those precious notes i.e my articles for journals ,poetry and scripts etcs were deleted So please help me ! and tell me the way to recover phone memory or even only those notes ! Data recovery software are deigned for PC's so when phone is connected to PC software detects the MASS storage but not the phone memory's.

Got a new 4s a couple of weeks ago. After a couple of days all my purchased music dissappeared. Had to re-set and install everything from scratch. Last week all my pictures dissappeared. loaded them back up. Yesterday contacts started dissappearing. Today my email accounts have all gone apart from icloud and I can't get them set up again. Have I just got a lemon or has my pc picked up a cold?

My SMS keep on deleting itself without my confirmation. I've tried everything to save them, but they still keep deleting automatically.!!
I've changed all options so that the messages stay on my phone forever, I've tried deleting as many apps as I can from App World and I've archived the ones I don't use, but it still does not do me any favours!The application memory still shows that theres around 20mb left, and I find that it is ridiculous that you can only save the apps on a device memory. I also have updated my validity period.
Is there any way of being able to save the messages on a memory card?

I have a HTC 1, and my emails disappear from my inbox every morning. It does not matter if I have read the email or ignored it, in the morning all of my mail has gone not to be found anywhere. I have tried all of the possible email settings.

Why most but not all of my pictures are gone from the gallery. Only had about 25. Today I have 6. I don't have them going to another service. I saw another person had this problem a week or so ago. Can't find an answer. Is this just a bug in android? My albums aren't hidden. How do I find the files on my phone? New to android.

After a couple of days sometimes a week after I have a text conversation I will go back to that conversation and either all of it is gone, part of it is missing or just the other persons texts are missing .... does anyone know why this is..... I have the options on keep forever.... are they archived? if so how would I pull them up....
