View 8 Replies View Relateda while ago I bought a Nokia 3250 phone and in the manual it says that it supports SPP next to a list of other services. When I try to enable it in the Bluetooth options, though, it only displays DUN.A friend of mine was suggesting that Windows is the problem and I should switch to Linux as I really need to get this going because this project is part of my graduation. If anyone has experience please advise me whether it could help or not
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs LD-3W compatible with E71? Some regional Nokia sites do not list E71 as compatible with the LD-3W, while some sites do. Where can I get one in the Philippines? I have visited one Nokia store, and the sales person mentioned that they don't sell that device. Why is that? Is there any way I can test one of these receivers for compatibility?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a new x6 and am havin gproblems with the many things, but mainly bluetooth with my car audio. It worked fine with my previous nokia 6500 slide so it can't be the audio system or the way I set it up.
Whe I first set up the pairing all is fine. It connects automatically etc. But if while the bluetooth is connected I browse the phone, say with texting or navigation, the bluetooth dissconnects and will not re-connect. Sometimes, if I turn the phone off and on it may start to connect automatically again. It's a big nuisence and if I get a text while driving the bluetooth will not work anymore.
Has this happened to anyone else and is there a fix? I really like the functions of the phone but it seems to have some major software issues.
I don't know how to use the Bluetooth from this Nokia lumia 610.i tried for many times but I failed.

The Head unit stated send as vCard from phone to the head unit but could not figure out how to do this. I guess this would be sending contact information one at a time but really do not know. Has anyone been successful or is this not support at present?

How do I send music by using Bluetooth ?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe "No Voice Guidance under Bluetooth" problem seems to be well documented on this board as well as elsewhere on the web, and can be sumarize like this: In-Car bluetooth connections that work fine for phonecalls will not relay voice directions from Maps, and the phone itself stays mute. In effect, no voice directions are heard at all. The reason seems clear as well: The bluetooth standard allows for several different kinds of sound-streams for priority purposes etc. Most In-Car bluetooth devices however (including several NOKIA-ones), accept only actual phonecalls. Hence, all oher sound is muted while connected to the car. The rather obvious solution would be to have a setup-item in Ovi-Maps that forces all sound from the program to use the phones integrated speakers instead of an operative Bluetooth connection. (Use Bluetooth connection for Voice directions On/Off). However, over all the posts, NO NOKIA STAFF have responded to aknowledge the problem or comment on it's possible solution or workaround. (And I have not found any third party app that adresses the issue.)One might speculate that the reason would be the design of the operating system, choosing to handle all sound in a similar way, which undoubtedly is a good thing ... in most cases, but in this case dissalows usage of the free navigation in the one situation it is of the highest value - IN THE CAR. NOW - as FREE NAVIGATION becomes a major selling point and the aplication can't work in a modern car while maintaining legal phone connectivity, NOKIA needs to accept this reality, and make Ovi-maps useable for these users as well - even if that means defying a design principle. An actual response from someone informed. For reference, I use version 3.03 10wk01 b05 of Ovi-maps on my NOKIA N97 mini with a factory fitted Alfa Romeo "Blue&Me" bluetooth kit, developed by Microsoft Automotive.

It obvious that it will take a huge time to open each message (or business card) and then save it to my new phone.

I can do "Connect to Internet" (from the tools menu) when the phone is linked via the USB cable. When it's on the Bluetooth, the option "Connect to Internet" is greyed out and not available.
Even if I go Tools -> Options, when I click "Connect to Internet" to configure something, PC Suite shows "You must connect your device to be able to change settings".
