I've just got one of the 6303 Classics and synced my Outlook calendar with the phone but now on the Home Screen it only displays one appointment rather than all i have that day like my old Nokia.Is there anyway i can get it to display more appointments on the Home Screen as i can't seem to find an option for this?

I'm looking for a car kit that supports 5800 XpressMusic and 6303 Classic.Can I get the nokia 6303 classic to work with the car kit CK-600? I imagine the screen would make the use easier. If not the CK-300 should work with both phones, right?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI used PC Suite (latest version) with a bluetooth connection between a Nokia 6310i and a Compaq nx8220 laptop computer. No problem at all. Than I bought a Nokia 6303 Classic and tried to connect to the laptop. The PC Suite software does not recognize the 6303. The same problem with OVI Suite, which works with the 6310i. The Nokia 6303 connects with my Nokia 610 Car Kit, without any problem. I re-installed the PC Suite Software without any result.When I replace the 6303 with the 6310i again, than it works OK.

I have Nokia 6303 Classic and it was working fine but suddenly today phone is behaving weird, now when i press 1 the phone types it 12,when i press call attend button phone opens the camera.When i press option key phone opens new sms window, and almost all the keypad keys are behaving the same odd way.So I can't do anything on my phone,I have already reset phone to factory setting and also updated to latest software version but problem is still there.

Means I can do google searches but unable login to my facebook account. I try so many times to enter values to the fileds there in the Facebook page but its not taking anything. I tried for factory reset but no good news, its still the same thing is happening.
Then i installed a Java based facebook application, but its unable to the internet connection. I have checked all the connection settings and application access properties but couldnt get the solution.
I have a nokia 6303 classic for more than a year and I am very happy with it. But because I moved to China I need support of Chinese characters for short messages. Is it possible to get it on the phone somehow?

I would like to upgrade to a higher size either 16GB or better still 32GB. But before heading out and buying a card I would like to know if anyone has tried using these cards with this handset before successfully.
I am using 6303 i classic from 3 years. Recently I tried to install Whatsapp in it but it said not supported. Why this happened? As per Nokia it is a S40 series phone then why does it not support? Is there any from which I can install it?

From now, I just have the next event for the current day, not for the seven next days (before this nokia I had a WM phone and I can read the next event on the home screen for the next 7 days, it was very fine). I installed mail for exchange and I was seeing all my Outlook appointments on the main screen, but then it disappeared. The entries are there, I keep getting the alarms, but to see the entries I have to go into the calendar. View 5 Replies View RelatedI've tried the search but can't find my solution.Until yesterday my home screen used to show upcoming appointments on the lower half of the screen. It now shows no appointments. I've tried all the obvious things but guess I either have a real problem or am missing something.1. There are loads of current appointments in my calendar. Many on each day and the reminders for those still alarm.2. Home screen is set to shortcut 3. I don't have any apps loaded that replace the home screen 4. settings/ personal/ home screen/ home screen gives me a list of options but calendar is no longer one of them . All I now have are shortcuts, search, music player and radio.
I'm reluctant to perform a hard reset or re-flash it as it took me ages to get the internet connection working correctly and I expect a reset will mess all that up again.

it's quite stupid NOKIA had separated between the two. there should be one business-like homescreen (with emails, tasks, search-bar and apps), and another more friendly with favourite contacts and apps.Cannot understand why nokia shoot it's own leg with these stupid desicions... hope it will be fixed in the next firmware update.
After restarting my N97 due to it crashing (again), my calendar widget has disappeared from the home screen. I tried removing the widget from the home screen and adding it again, but this had no effect. I checked the actual calendar application and the to-do notes and reminders are not appearing if "month view" is selected. They do however appear when viewing the calendar in either "day view" or "week view". I use the calendar for planning my life

I would like to connect the phone to Nokia PC suite and select the backup option to copy all the contact details to my PC. Unfortunately he has damaged the screen and nothing at all is showing.
What I would like to know therefore is exactly which buttons need to be pressed on the phone after the USB connector has been inserted to ensure that PC suite is selected; because at present although the phone is recognised by my PC, PC suite is reporting that a phone is not connected. I have successfully copied all Images etc from the phone (memory card?) but the only way I know to get at the contact data is via PC suite, unless of course anyone knows differently.

My Nokia 6700 Classic Screen is broken and I need to copy the contacts from phone to sim. The phone still works. I just cant see what I am doing. Tried the Nokia computer program but I had issues with the USB cable.

Today, out of the blue, 3 birthdays popped up on my home screen, as if it was today, but the dates are months away... and 2 of them are from the same person (but both came from facebook...). I clicked on them to see and hoping they would clear from my screen (just as messages do when you click to read them, when you close it, the notification of the message dissapears...) but they didn't... i tryed deleting one of the birthdays from my calender but it still showed the notification on my screen (it disappeared after about 20 min)! And the options of the event are all correct with the right dates, and the notification of the events are set up for the day before each birthday.... but it stil shows as if it was an event for today...I then tryed entering a task for next week... it also showed on my screen! Does every event you enter shows on the screen no matter what date? how do i get them to only show on the day they are set up to notify me? The alternative would be not to use the calendar at all... how do i alter the option of having the calendar sincronize with facebook? Or to have it not notify me about anything.... because i tryed selecting the email calendar only but the selection is only for visualization purpuses, it doesnt stop facebook sincronization.. and it doesnt give me an option of saving a task on the blackberry only.. i have to select the email or facebook for the reminder... cant i just use the regular calendar?
