when i play a game, especially spore, the battery gets quite warm compared when im not using the phone. should i worry? Do you want to get all the firmware updates for your phone? Get a SIM-free one!
View 5 RepliesI've had my N97 Mini for a while now. Its pretty good overall but I've encountered one constant problem that keeps occurring when I enter a full screen game. I've recently installed Real Football Manager 2010 by Gameloft, the game is made for n97i and is suppose to be played full screen. When ever I start the game, a annoying touchpad pops up and blocks half the screen. How do you turn this off? Is there another way to solve this problem?

Now when I watch movie's or play games make phone calls or something simple like receiving txt messages or emails (or to put it another way, everything the phone was designed to do) the handset simply freezes and makes a terrible buzzing noise for about 4 seconds then it shuts off completely. The phone will then reboot. Sometimes it will crash again immediately and reboot again. I have seen it crash and reboot up to 5 times.

I was just playing a game, the phone got hot and turned off. I let it cool, it wouldn't turn on again. I noticed the blue light in the upper left stayed on and the phone was pulsing/vibrating a bit. I have been charging the phone for the last hour thinking that might be the issue. No. The blue light is still on. I tried removing the battery and SD card for 10 seconds before retrying to boot my phone. Nothing abut blue light and some pulses from time to time.

It woked me up as usual and i noticed that it was realy warm but haven't thought much about it...was too early So i go to work as usual...then i noticed that the battery drains realy fast (like 1-2% in a minute of usage) and getting very warm on the back right beneath the rear camera (same spot is getting hot while charging). I also noticed that the auto-focus of the rear cam isn't working (also manual focus doesn't work).
I upgraded to IOS 5.1 and also reset it to factory defaults and also generate a new profile for it so no old settings are used. But the problem sill persists :/ As long as it is in standby everything is alright if i use it (even browse through tabs) it starts draining and getting warm
