Nokia Applications :: App That Manages Back-light?
Jul 20, 2012
I have an E6-00. Battery management is not great such as the E72 and need to be kept at lower lightness. So I would like to find an app that manages backlight depending of applications run. That would make reading messages, emails?
My Nokia 5630 got wet. After that I dissembled it and dried it. Everything was ok beforer the second reboot. Thats when I reseted my phone. It obviously failed. Now when I plug my phone in to charge (either to usb or just power) the blue light on the back (on top of the 3,2 MPix camera) is always on until the battery runs out. I have tried the *,3,answer button (green) trick and that also didn't work. My phone just won't turn on.Also, I have tried removing the sim card (as shown in the attachment) and memory card and that didn't work either.
Some time the backlight wont turn off even key guard is locked; I tried to find some setting related to this, but unable to find any. This issue will temporally resolve if you switch off and switch on thecell.
I was using the calculator when the battery died. after i recharged it, i can't find the calculator any where. i saw the shortcut but it says invalid shortcut when i pressed it. i've tried reformat, restore factory settings, i even format my memory card for reassurance and i still haven't got the application back yet.
I have a N95 that has a weird screen issue. I've spent just over a week looking for an answer, searching Google and forums. The screen is very dull on the main menu, to the extent that to see any data on it you need to be in a very dark room. The screen saver however is just as bright as it has always been, brighter in fact.
I've turned the screen brightness up to full but this made no difference. It is almost as if the back light has been turned off.Does anyone know how to turn the back light on or even any resolution of this so I can use the phone during the day.
I purchased my N97 about a year ago and I absolutely adore it. I haven't run into any problems until last week. When I turn on my phone, enter the unlock code and use it to do whatever I need to do, it works fine. However, if I lock the phone or let the backlight shut off, it won't turn back on and neither do the lights on the number keys. Here is the funny part: If I press the power key (as if I were to change my profile) the backlight turns on, allowing me to see the screen, but the number keys don't light up! Does anyone know what I can do?
I'm not very tech savvy (so please don't laugh if my solutions are completely wrong), but here are some of the things I have done to try and rectify the problem: - Let the battery drain completely and charged it in the hopes that it would rectify itself like it has in the past with other issues - Took out the battery, SIM card and memory card just to make sure everything was inserted properly - Restored the phone to factory settings
I have a green light on the back of my Torch 9810 that never goes out, even when I remove the battery. It is the same bulb where the flash for my camera is. Is there a reason this light is on that I don't know about? Is there a way to get it to turn off? I'm new to BlackBerry from an iPhone.
the keyboard backlight on my x10 mini pro is pretty unpredictable. Can anyone tell me of any way that I can manage to keep the backlight on, while I am trying to text in bad light conditions?
My Back and Home button light is off most of the time. The only thing I changed was that I use Nova Launcher. I heard Leo Laporte say he had the same problem.
I dropped my phone and the backlight comes on and it vibrates but there is no picture! i tried restoring and turning on and off but nothing. is there anything i could do? like get a new screen?
Recently I got a broken Iphone 4S from a friend and he told me he dropped it, so it doesn't show anything at all. I thought it was a LCD problem so i bought a new lcd screen from amazon and well it some-what works. I hear siri and it vibrates a couple of times (vibrates when i plug it to a charger) but the screen is off , nothing no light or anything, also the light in the back is always on (it did that before). My question is whats the issue now? and is it still fixable? Also i can't connect it to itunes because of password and i don't know how to unlock the phone through the computer. In addition, I already tried holding the home and power button for 10-20 seconds, even holding just the power button...
Its an A1387 model Verizon with 16GB running IOS 7Â ...

Has anyone else had a problem with the back light dying? Twice it has happened to me. One time it came back with a battery pull and once I had to do a full reload of the OS.I've had the phone since Sept 09 and this is the only problem I've had, but it is a big pain in the **** when I have to reload the OS, since I have to get another activation code from my IT department.
I had a bit of an accident with my iPhone about 8 weeks ago, some tool spilt their drink down my leg, which got liquid into the docking port of the phone (sensor has been tripped) The backlight died and the phone wouldn't play sound out loud, although if it was rang it was fine (??) I left it switched off and the next day it started to function normally again.couple of weeks later and the backlight has died again, this time for good. i've tried resets etc, and it looks as if it needs a hardware repair, an LCD screen one would assume. The phone has been opened by a 3rd party, and they quoted a £110 repair, so i've decided i'm going to buy the part and fix it myself. Will replacing the LCD solve the problem, as i have read of occasions where this has not fixed a backlight problem?Any ideas on where I can get the cheapest deal on a replacement 3GS LCD screen?Could this be a problem thats related to something other than LCD?
Got a warranty replacement yesterday at the apple store. Went home and saw that the back and chrome have some light scratching. Already put on my invisible shield so im not going to piss and moan about the scratches, just wanted to know if it was normal.
Recently noticed that my keyboard backlight is out. I am driving myself crazy wondering if I ever had keyboard backlighting. Verizon Wireless support had no answers, but suggested that we hardset the Bold again. If that doesn't work, then they will replace with a "like new" phone. Is there keyboard backlighting on this model? If so, any suggestions to fix? Lastly, anyone had any luck with challenging the "like new" exchange policy for a phone just 4 months old.?
I just bought my torch on wednesday and I've noticed that while in a call. My screen shuts off immediately after I make a call or pick up a call and for the remainder of the call the screen does not come back on regardless of what buttons I press. This is very problematic because I can't do anything else during calls. Is there some settings issue I need to change?
There is a notification light at the back of the phone inside the black glass module?I was at the movies on saturday and noticed that the light blinks for a brief millisecond on every notification.Just noticed that its the camera flash actually which goes off.
