Oct 21, 2011
I have connected my E52 to the Land Cruiser 2011 model multimedia kit gets connected to the kit but does not copys the contacts data from mobile to the car kits directory and the rules over here in UAE are getiin sitiffer day by day how do i copy the contacts it only supporrt PBAP ver 1.0
The multimedia key on my Nokia N79 is broken (nr 3 in the picture). My plan was to map the 'multimedia menu' functionality on the left selection key (nr 2). But the 'multimedia menu' doesn't appear in the list of possible mappings. It is also impossible to reach the 'multimedia menu' via the normal menu.
Conclusion: if the multimedia key is broken, it appears that it is impossible to use the 'multimedia menu'
Does anyone know a workaround? Or, if Nokia is reading this, can you add the 'multimedia menu' to the mapping-options for the selection keys?
I am not using the phone memory for storage. it says it contain 30MB phone memory.i can only use 3.6MB of it. i am not able to access the remaining 26mb or find it. did reset factory condition but it remains the same. help me with this problem.
Since the OS update for the 920, the "display+touch" feature does not work properly. When I tap on it, the message "display+touch can't be opened. An app update may be available" is presented. I have attempted to update the app via QR but am presented with the message "share." I have done few soft resets but the problem persists. I have asked for help in other forums, but the issue remains. Is it possible that a future "display+touch" update may solve the problem? In lieu of that, can someone offer another suggestion? I would hate to do a hard reset and end up with a "bricked" phone.
Not sure what the problem is, but I think it's a problem with my AV software or something else on my PC or an app that's on my phone, rather than a hardware problem.A few days ago I started having problems accessing the memory card via my PC when my phone was plugged in. A restart of both fixed it on all occasions, now even that doesn't work.It shows up in My Computer but when I try to open it my PC tells me to insert a disk into drive I.It has worked without fail in the past , because my AV software used to flash up a warning that Autorun has been disabled for that device.
My first brand new phone - not a cast off - but I cant receive the text messages on the screen of my Tom Tom which came in the Yaris. I do get the calls no prob.My previous phone, a Motorolla V565 did put the messages up.Does anyone know a way I can fix this?
I bought a new Nokia 701 Phone. Unfortunately this seems to be not supported with NMT right now. Are there any informations about the availibilty of support for Belle Phones?

I just bought a Nokia X3, and unlocked my AT&T GoPhone sim card to work with the phone, but I can't use web or send MultiMedia text messages; Anyone know what Internet setting I need to plug in manually for the phone? Phone doesn't manually have the settings, and AT&T customer Service was of no help at all.

I am trying to send my contacts from an E63 to a Toyota Highlander 2010 via Bluetooth. I have no problem using the hands free in the Toyota via Bluetooth to the E63 - just can't get the contacts from the E63 to the Toyota.
This has probably been covered elsewhere but I haven't come across any answers yet! I bought a SIM free 2700 classic at the end of last year. I'm unable to send multimedia messages and have been unable to register it on My Nokia as the IMEI is unrecognised. I've checked the SIM card being used in another phone and there are no problems.
I have just purchased a N97 because it has a true GPS.I have a MAC with OS X Snow Leopard.I now understand that I cannot get the maps from NOKIA and install then onto my N97 because Multimedia Transfer is not compatible with N97.I don't want to I sell it back and buy an Iphone with only A-GPS.So when will I get a running Transfer programm?
My newly-bought 5800XM refuses to play nice with my Macbook Air (OSX 10.6.3). ISync works fine. However, Nokia Multimedia Transfer does not work at all. When I connect the phone to my Mac, NMT 1.4.2 does not see/detect the phone's presence. If I switch the phone to another connection form, e.g. mass storage, then I get a warning that my 5800xm is connected in a way that is incompatible with NMT. Needless to say, the same problem happens with Map loader.
I have upgraded the 5800's firmware to the latest version. I have turned off and rebooted the phone and my computer countless times. The only thing that I have noticed that might not be right (don't know for sure) is the fact that the only profiles in the /Library/Application Support/Nokia Multimedia Transfer/Profiles folder are those of the C5, X3 and X6 phones.
I have been trying to transfer some music from iTunes playlists to my Nokia E6 using the Nokia Multimedia Transfer app. First time I ever used it there was no problems, but lately it continually freezes up my mac when transferring. I am using Snow Leopard (latest version) and the plug in is the latest from the Nokia Ovi site.
Spoken to T-mobile and they sent me the settings as they should be. I have saved them and tried again. But picture of video parts of messages aren't going through, only the text parts arrive. I can go to the phone settings and see the data being sent, and it is always the correct amount. But the multimedia bits don't get there. Yet I can send them to myself. The people I send to, can send and receive multimedia just fine to other people. Could someone on T-mobile post all their settings please?
I am getting this error even after restarting the phone. I've got the BestTaskMan app which allows me to close all applications apart from the system critical ones but it still doesn't work.
My cell phone has always been a Nokia. The latest upgrade with AT&T, I got the red Nokia 6350. Phone works fine except that I am not able to send or receive multimedia message from my family and friends. Is there a feature on the phone that I did not turn on to make this work? MMS messages always received with a message read: :"Multimedia Message error, unknown network error".
While entering an SMS (text), when I reach a certain unknown number of written characters my N8 pops up message saying, 'Message type changed to multimedia msg.' There's-one-little-glitch: Where I live MMS service is - not - available! If I delete even one (1) character I get another pop up saying, 'Msg type changed to text msg.'
Nokia's solution: When the N8 tries to convert to mms go to Options > Sending Options > msg type > Text. Nokia's solution fails immediately after pressing 'Options' because there is NO 'Sending Options' option to select! How - can I disable/remove/get rid of this unwanted/forced MMS change over so I can write and send as many characters as I want/need in SMS (text).
My new e5 successfully paired with my toyota prius III. Being called is no problem at all but when I use my car kits dialing system the e5 automatically cancels the call after a second. My software is up to date and I have tried all settings, including switching on and off external sim, visibility, etc.
i got a message saying my email function was not currently accessible. As i get quite a bit of work email while out of the office this is a bit disconcerting. Any ideas on what may be going on?
