I found 2 datacables, but I can´t figure out which fits my Nokia, which looks like this: http://www.mobile-reviews.de/8800SI/Geraet/images/IMGP3590.jpg
Or do these cables connect to the phone instead of the battirie?
I bought a real 8800 original a while back and decided to upgrade. I got online the 8800 carbon arte, but when I got it in I realized it is a fake (a nice fake, but a fake). Now I'm not sure if I should keep it and sell my old 8800, or send back the 8800 carbon fake? I cant afford a new carbon as they are well over 1grand. features on the fake seem to be all except no pc suite option (USB gives me com port, mass storage, webcam) and no touch option. Im also assuming that the screen isnt durable.Other than that, the firmware seems to be the same (from what I gathered online)What would you do? Keep the original 8800, or use the newer 8800 carbon fake?
That allows you to charge the Razr V3 while using the USB data cable? In other words, such a cable would have to have a 'Y' configuration with two inputs and one output to the phone. The two inputs need to accept the 5-pin male mini USB connector from the charger and the 5-pin male mini USB connector from the data cable
I am due to get a Nokia e51 next week but it does not come with a wall charger. As far as I understand it the E51 cannot be charged through the mini USB data cable is that right? - So I might have a spare nokia wall charger for a nokia 6500 Slide phone or a Nokia xpress music phone, will that charger be OK to use on a E51 do you reckon? - I.E. right connecter, voltage and amperage?
I recently got my Nokia E72, and am trying out the USB Data Cable Charging "feature" - it just does not work for me. I wonder if am doing something wrong? The process of inserting the Data Cable is quite straight forward, the phone presents a menu of options "PC Suite..." which I promptly cancel. I then get a message "Charging", and about 15 seconds later I get a message about disconnecting the charger?
The battery/ phone are now in power save mode ie battery almost completely drained - right. So, why will it not charge through the data cable - it refuses. I have searched on the interweb, but seen to be the only one with this problem. The Nokia E72 manual mentions that charing is possible through the use of the Data Cable. I am directly connected to the computer (MacBook Pro 2009 Model). Mac OSX correctly detects the Nokia E72. Do I have to be in Windows XP?
What do I ask for to get the right USB data cable for my 3710? Is there a name for the particular type I need? Is it an industry-standard cable, or a special Nokia-only one? Where would I buy such a cable? Radio Shack? I'm in the USA.
I've been looking at buying one because i hate not being able to transfer pictures etc over to the computer easily. But i cannot find where the cable is meant to plug into my phone ? Only the micro sd card is the only place. Or do i need to get a card reader for the micro sd card?
Which software do I use to download data from Nokia 2330? I bought a data cable from Amazon (since I cannot find it in Nokia website), and I tried one of Nokia PC Suite software to connect, but it does not recognize the device (ie. phone) Can you recommend the correct data cable and software to download (if there is one for free).
I bought my new 5230 online from Vodafone a week ago. I wasn't aware there wouldn't be a data cable! Vodafone don't sell them online and as I haven't full mobility, it's hard for me to source one. My husband bought a micro usb data cable for me, but it was too big for my phone. There is no specific information about which data cable I need (is the a code for this cable?) in the handbook that came with the phone.
I am having a data cable CA - 45. I can also run internet in my mobile properly using mobile office. But how can I run internet in my pc? My phone is not being detected by the Nokia PC Suite.
I am using my mobile Nokia N97 connected to PC for net browsing (with dial up connection). The phone has only one connecting usb slot for battery charger & data cable. While net connection is on with data cable for long time, the battery is discharging in short time. How to recharge the phone battery with data cable simultaneously while net surfing.
When i Connect the Data cable to the computer , the nokia e7-00 becomes unresponsive or hangs and nothing can be done. Is there a specific setting to be done or is it a issue
Each time I connect my 5233 via datacable and when disconnected then following happens.Current theme takes a while to appear backMessage storage memory goes to c: phone memory and i have to manually change to e:memory cardis there a fix for this, I'm running the latest firmware and using windows 7 ultimate.
Am using Xpressmusic 5130.When i connect it to PC using USB cabe and selecting Data Storage option,it is showing 'Memmory card in use by another application,Please wait'.And i didnt find any appln using memmory card at that time.Bui i could trnsfer mp3's and images using 'printig and media ' option.I'm currently using a 1gb memmory card and its about 800mb now.
I know just connect the data cable to computer and transfer data but when i connect data cable to computer it does not show any thing on the computer and not even on the phone.so how should i make my phone able to transfer data to pc.
I´m using the newest PC Suite under Win 7 32 bit, and a Nokia 8800.Up to now the WIn 7 BT driver was installed and worked for month.Since a couple of weeks I don´t get an automated sync. Sync starts, and ends with the error "check if device is connected".
The device IS connected, I can see my messages and calendar in PC Suite, PC Suite and the round connection symbol are green. Now I tried to install the latest Belkin BT Broadcom Widcomm driver (I used an older widcom last year under XP!).this one does not show up in the connection manager. There I only find the Microsoft.
It seams like a thing that should be able to be done, but can you get the email in portrait no to scroll horizontal, so it fits the window? Seams like counterintuitive to act the way it does?
HTC Ozone. No data cable with device when I bought it. Have 3 or 4 mini usb cables here. Does it matter which one is used or can any be used as long as it connects? Also, will the motorola razor car phone charger work with it? Don't want to damage the phone if there is some weird proprietary thing going on.
Does LG GW620R phone comes with USB data cable or do you need to buy it seperately?I am not able to transfer photos from my cell phone to the computer.
I've been having trouble finding a proper data cable for downloading images, etc from an LG VX 5400. In theory, a straight USB cable would do it- but apparently the 5400 has a stupid, non-standard interface. Hence, this doesn't work with BitPim. It will recognize the phone, but fail midway during any real data transfer operations. My understanding is that the solution is to use a USB data cable with a usb-to-serial adaptor (i.e. Prolific chip). It sounds like a company named FutureDial used to make one. However, I can't seem to find any such cable in existence anymore. Anybody know where I might find such a thing?
I need to be to get the Zylo up and running. Big thanks to Jay in Customer services. I am about to purchase a DCU 60 data cable and want the genuine article so I looked at the SE site. Has anyone bought a DCU 60 via the internet?
Lastly, this Zylo of mine has one feature that drives me nuts. Despite me trying everything, unless I keep pressing keys, the screen goes blank after around 10 secs. It is an absolute pain when I am browsing or reading/sending texts or e-mails.
