View 8 RepliesMy cell phone has always been a Nokia. The latest upgrade with AT&T, I got the red Nokia 6350. Phone works fine except that I am not able to send or receive multimedia message from my family and friends. Is there a feature on the phone that I did not turn on to make this work? MMS messages always received with a message read: :"Multimedia Message error, unknown network error".

Problem was, you can't hear the echo yourself, but the person you talk to will complain about an echo. I would get the echo when I went to speakerphone, but other owners may have this issue on regular speaker too, I don't know, but just turn off the TalkBack app, it's interfering.

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust got a 6350. I know that there are probably lots of places where I can download ringtones. However, I wanted to mention that I am unhappy with the limited number of default ringtones (about 12). Even my 5 year old Nokia had more choices.
Additionally, all the options play music. There is nothing that is less annoying / more professional sounding. Just a simple ring or beep sequence. So, I'm just learning. Please point me at a good place to download non-song ring tones for this phone. I'm on AT&T if that's an issue.
We have 6350s that we've opted for 'voice only' service. Our batteries last for only 2-3 days (primarily in standby); I suspect it's the 3G network that is so parasitic. Has anyone knowledge of how to toggle Network Mode to GSM (etc)?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought the 6350 and am mostly[1] satisfied. My biggest problem with the handset is that there's no support for the 6350 in Apple's iSync application and there isn't a plugin available from Nokia. When I bought it I had to enter all of my information by hand (since a SIM transfer completely sucks[2]). Now I'm having the handset replaced because the back is falling off and I'm faced with reentering all of that information again.
So, when will there be iSync support for the 6350? And are there any other ways (other than the aforementioned sucky SIM card method) to transfer all of my current data from the old 6350 to the new one when I get it in a couple of days?
[1] Modulo pathetic default ring tones and inadequate bolding of calendar dates which have attached notes.
[2] The SIM card method of transferring information sucks because all the names are UPPER CASED, names with multiple numbers are converted into two names, all the number type information is lost and, the last time I tried it, no calendar information was transferred ...
I've recently made the switch from Sprint to AT&T service. I have the Nokia 6350. I'm far from satisifed and am beginning to regret making the change. I sent a couple of messages to Nokia asking questions about the use of the 6350. The first reply I received was a generic response that was of no help whatever. It seemed apparent that the support technician did nothing more than glance at the message and sent a useless reply. I answered that message but never got a reply back.
I have two questions: Is my experience typical of what others have gotten from Nokia, or should I view it as anomoly? I know that Nokia makes the handset. The software on the handset, the user interface, is that produced and supported by Nokia, by AT&T or another party?
I have a Nokia 6350, which has a 2.5'' headset outlet on the side. I tried to find out which headsets are compatible with this model, but the Nokia website only lists Bluetooth ones. But of course this model support wired headsets too, otherwise it would not have an headset outlet in the first place? recommend me an headset which is compatible with my phone? I bought a Nokia HS-47 one, but I can only get sound on one side, and I would like to avoid wasting money in other products which are not compatible...
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife just got a MBZ C250. We were able to pair her Nokia 6350 and my iphone to the cars bluetooth. I was also able to transfer the contacts from the iphone but not the Nokia's. In looking at the bluetooth compatible phones on the Mercedes Bluetooth site I noticed that there are no Nokia phones listed for this car model. For some reason her phone works well in the hands free mode in the car but she obviously would like to be able to access her contacts. My question is this, is there any way we can transfer her contacts to the cars bluetooth? If not, is there any way both phones can share my iphone address book since we have exactly the same contacts?

I'm just curious if this is common to all the devices.
Is there a way to completely turn off the speaker temporarily on the SGS2? If I put it on vibrate or silent, and go into an app (or accidentally press the home button twice - damn that button!) it will still play the sounds. But..I don't want the speaker off all the time, just at certain times of the day.
