Nokia :: 5130 XM / Not Recognizing By PC / Resetting Didn't Work
Aug 19, 2010
I have a nokia 5130 XM that always worked normaly, but i dont used it for 2 months, and now that i need it again, the mobile turn on and it stop all the time in a white screen (it don't start).I've tried:
-Connect with USB cable to check if i can update software, but my pc not recognize the device.
-Used the reset codes, nothing happened
I don't have memory card inside.the mobile phone cannot start, and i dont know what to do.any ideas/support?
I updated my N97, and after that my phone did not work properly, the old version was 2.0 and the new is 2.1, the charging light did not work and i get black screen when i turn my phone on.
When I turn the phone is a lot of time on screen in that it shows "Nokia".After the screen goes all white.I can not do any of reset with code so I tried to do'*'-' 3 '+ "green key" that I found on some forums.Reinstall the firmware doesn't work because it is also impossible without the link I can not connect to PC Suite.
i just bought nokia X6 8GB.when i put headset, it become default for speaker.Since that, my phone just didn't work on loudspeaker..Music is played on very2 slow even i set higher volume..how can i fix it..
It just work fine if i put the headset..Only facing problem with loudspeaker..
I decided to go with PC Suite for Sync. I think it's a great program (I have never owned a Nokia.) PC Suite does say it is not fully compatible yet with N900. For sync though I have had no trouble. I noticed the backup feature didn't work - it thinks my phone is not connected. But the N900 does have a"Backup feature" on it. So I am guessing I can just backup the N900 using the N900 and then plug it into the computer and read it as a mass storage device - and copy the backup information onto the computer. That should work for backup/restore until they give an update to the program. Is that what others are doing here?
As for music... I don't know what t do. There is Media Sync for Blackberry which will transfer iTunes (not purchased iTunes unless you unlocked yours (which I did) it will transfer your iTunes play lists onto your Blackberry.
Is there something that will get music in the iTunes format onto the N900 - or will I have to convert my music files?
I've had a Bold 9780 for just over a year now and my battery fully charged doesn't last longer than 5hrs max. I tried getting a new battery and that didn't work. Can anyone help me with this problem?
Recently I had update my device (Pearl 8100) from OS 4.2 to 4.5. I also upgrade my BBM to 5.0 something. At first, it works properly and after a few days, it seems didn't works. The problem is such as i can't use or enter BBM from the shortcut. Then there is a message written about file error or something.
2 days ago i noticed when i was listening to music in walkman or watching a video on youtube the audio in the top speaker didn't work! In a first moment i noticed that if I pressed the screen or the back of phone the top speaker for 4-5 second worked. After doesn't work even in this mode...My question is: Is this an hardware problem? the top speaker is fault or can this be a software problem?
why always when i try to connect my xperia ray with windows xp it didn't work but when i connect it with another system like windows 7 it work smoothly isn't there any way to make it work on xp?
First I bought a new laptop and got on that day a new router. With the WiFi Music Sync was okay until last night. Suddenly I was able to sync any data. The iTunes playlists are no longer displayed in the BlackBerry Media Player and my BlackBerry can not longer connect to WiFi Desktop Manager. It is only through the USB connection. But after the USB connection is missing, as I said, the playlists. If I delete the WiFi application on my BlackBerry, I see now the playlists. I use the Desktop Manager 6.0, as the Speedport 722V router, a torch with the software 6.0.0.448
So, last night I was messing around with some custom roms, and tried installing CM, I accidentally installed CM recovery as the boot img, and tried to backup from my backup file that I created via TWRP.
Now, when restoring i get into a bootloop, i think, and if I'm trying to install a custom ROM i either get a status 7 error or it can mount /system. I tried going into the Mount tab in TWRP and checking the system check-box, but it won't let me.
My friend has an i4 4.0 jailbroke from jailbreakme. After jailbreak everything work fine for him. He had MMS working fine he could send and receive MMS no problems. Well the other day he tried to send an MMS and it wouldn't send out. It tries to send and the little bar on the top when you send a message comes up and it goes about 95 percent of the way and stops then he gets the red explanation mark after about 1 minute. So it doesn't go through. He has tried the Iphone Delivery repo and it didn't work, he has reset his network settings didn't work. Was wondering if anyone had any other advice? His facetime works fine no problems there. I assume the next step is a restore which he already knows but he is trying to fix it without restoring.
I only got EDGE using Tmobile while my other phone Xpeira Z1 can get LTE at the same location. I did set the APN manually [URL] .... since the auto download "Internet & MMS settings" didn't work. I tried to update the phone using "Update Center" but it said I have the most updated version already.
had it in my pocket whislt I was walking round, and when I sat down at a restaurant and looked at it, and it was almost like the phone had just died, but the screen didn't light up and the LED didn't flash. I charged it up fully the night before and i know that when the battery is flat it flashes yellow, but it was doing nothing. When I got home i tried charging it, but nothing and then I plugged it into my laptop to try a retrive all of my stuff on there but again nothing!
My phone is a Nokia 1020. I installed the Windows 10 preview. I found that the camera didn't work properly so I used the recovery tool to revert back to Windows 8.1. Now my phone thinks it is a Nokia 909 instead of a 1020.
I just bought a 5130 and I think to haveproperly sett it for the WAP connection, since my provider offers free connections to me.The problem - for a newby like me - that I'm not able to surf by WAP. Infact in my options menu I can't see a "WAP connection menu" to start from. The one way to surf the Net I found is by the "Internet menu". From that menu I can surf fine, but it's not free (as I learnt after my credit went down): I think that it makes me surf by "web connection", that is not *free* for me! More informations: I first created manually a "point of access" (as someone adviced to me) with the WAP-data of my provider; but I couldn't find the fields to fill with the home page, the DNS etc.;there I found the way to receive a SMS from mi provider that should have set automatically my phone; but after received it, nothing has changed.
My music player and FM radio are not working; when I try to open any media file the screen goes blank and a pop-up says "not enough memory", however, when I use the music keys, media works though without displaying either the music player or fm radio.I'm not using any of the phone memory, and have more than 400 MB free memory on the memory card. What should I do?
Nokia 5130 XpressMusic doesn't turn on and it says "contact service" (in red font) when i attempt to turn it on. It was working minuet then all of a sudden it just went off. Any help/advice on this situation.
I'd like to keep a record in my PC of all the data in the call log (missed calls, received calls and dialled numbers). As far as I know PC Suite doesn't back up these data. So far I have been doing the task manually, but it is a very tedious and time consuming task. Is there a way to transfer the data in the call log directly to the PC?
Also, I have observed that the list of calls stored in the phone is limited to 20 numbers per list (20 for missed, 20 for received and 20 for dialled) and 5 calls per number. These limits are very low for me. One of my friends calls me 3-4 times a day on average, so I would almost need to make a daily backup if I was to keep all the data. Is there a way to increase these limits?
My Nokia model is 5130, but I think that it doesn't make a difference regarding this query.
I'm this close to returning this phone. I keep on connecting the phone to the PC and get this: "Nokia 5130 XpressMusic USB Phone Parent". This service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. This is what I did (in this sequence).
1) installed ovi 2) installed PC Suite 3) uninstalled ovi 4) uninstalled Connectivity Driver 5) installed another version of Connectivity Driver (downloaded separately, and was an older version) 6) uninstalled every trace of ALL Nokia drivers and software
My phone is detected and works fine in multimedia and printing and USB storage device modes. It's just the PC suite mode that's giving me a headache. And also, I restarted my PC after every step that is mentioned above. The driver is 5130c-2.
nokia 5130: when I try to turn on the phone, the screen goes white and nokia logo appears like always, then the screen goes white and after several seconds it turns off.
I connected my nokia 5130 to pc and transferred some files via data cable... after that few files on my phone memry card are not opening like music, images etc. their format has been changed to .exe and it says file format not supported.
I have a new 5130. My computer doesn't do anything when I connect it. It recognizes other mp3 players but not my phone. I don't know if I have a bad cord or am missing software. I operate my other devices through Rhapsody (realplayer). My phone does not show up on it. Shouldn't something just pop up when I connect my 5130?
