As I always do I get from my bed early and I turned my phone on and I used it and then I put my clothes on to go to work and when I got in the car I saw my phone off its strange to see it like this because I got it new and I had it for one month.

I have a seidio extended battery for my phone and had the seidio doc which is horrible and I recommend to no one. It's built cheap and can break very easy. The metal charging prongs on the seidio doc just broke so I switched over to my normal blackberry bold doc.The problem is when I charge my phone I get a ton of different things that happen. I have my phone set up to enter bedtime mode and turn my profile to silent during certain hours when the phone is plugged in to charge. During these times the phone will always enter bedtime mode but three different things happen:
1. Phone dims and displays a clock
2. Screen light stays on and keyboard is illuminated
3. Phone goes dark - All lights turn off
I just want the phone to go dark and charge and put my profile to silent during the times I have set up. I like the phone dimming but it's still a little too bright for me at night. Can anyone help or suggest what I can do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs this the same as an upgrade swap? I actually talked to ATT via online chat, and they said once an iPhone 4 is ordered, its stuck to that line. But im pretty sure thats not true.So I want to add a line with iPhone 4 then once I receive her, put it on my primary line, use a dummy phone on the new line, and cancel data on the new line. It works out because I need a new line anyway, I have unlimited data on my primary line, and it saves me some $$ in getting the iPhone at full discount price.
The only thing I was worried about was being able to cancel data, but the ATT rep said I can cancel data at any time. And to order online, I would need to add the single line to my account and order it, once I receive it then I can switch to family plan.Will I need to do the same call ATT and give them IMEI's of everything to swap? Anyone done something similar?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy wife's line isn't eligible for an early upgrade. AT&T wants 599 for an iPhone 4. Has anyone thought about. Doing this if you're in my shoes? Add a new family line and get an iPhone 4 for 199 and port out your old line and get an early termination fee of around $100 since she has had the phone for a year. Therefore the cost of a new phone is $299. AT&T said that I would have to wait 60 days to port the line back in otherwise it would be considered a win back.

After that, transfer is successful. Few days ago I updated my 2730c to latest software( from RM -578 v10.45 to RM-578 v10.47) from nokia care centre thinking it could have fixed the previous bluetooth issue, but no it didn't.

View 32 Replies View RelatedAfter completing a trip to the USA, I found that I had $US150 of data roaming charges that were caused by the Ovi Maps. Going by my bill, OVI Maps tries to call home via the internet once a minute when it is going. Each phone home by OVI Maps was billed for 50K at $US.83 - but over several hours this mounts up at once a minute.The Data usage icon above the Satellite icon always showed 0.0kB.How do I ensure that OVI Maps does not "Phone home" once a minute when the Connection setting in the menu is "Offline".I only want to use the internal memory and all searches were off line when I know that I will have expensive data charges when roaming.Other than that OVI Maps is great - love it and the phone.

I can understand that it's important to know, if I would be using line 2 accidentially, but since line 1 is the default, I don't want to know about it. So how do I get rid of this ugly "1" on top? View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter having updated my N900 to PR1.2, I now find that when I reply to, or create a new message in the standard e-mail client , my automatic signature is inserted in grey instead of black, and all linefeeds are left out so the whole thing appears in one line instead of four which is how I have it.Sure, I can edit it and re-insert the linefeeds and make it all black, but this is clearly not the point. It worked fine prior to 1.2 and should continue to work fine after the upgrade.
One quirk of this 'bug' is that, once I've opened a new message (with the incorrect signature), if I change the originating e-mail address (I have more than one e-mail account) by tapping on my e-mail address at the top and selecing a different one, the signature 'repairs' itself and the linefeeds re-appear so the signature then looks fine except that it's still in grey.
I just got my nokia 5230. I tried the walk navigation, but after I set a destination, the route displayed is only a straight line between the start and end point. This is not walk navigation. I looked up Internet, it is said that I need to purchase a license for using walk and drive navigation.
But Nokia anounced that all navigation are free? Why should we still pay for it?By the way, I tried drive navigation, but the route is not a straight line fortunately, it's a normal route.

I able to hide that number (icon) on display that doesnt show me what line i use e.g 1 or 2.I didnt have this issue on Anna it appears now when i updated to Belle.So can someone tell me can i hide it or turn off that doesnt show me "what line i use" and its appears when i call someone or someone call me "name of caller and Line 1"

I read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.
I create new email ( Gmail ) in my N900 via email in setup. The send & receive are fast and fantastic EXCEPT for reading the emails. it appears all in one single Line.How to view the mails in a normal view where is doesn't go all in one line & scrolling all to right?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI do really have serious problem. I have nokia N900 which is U.S.A. I was trying to update through flasher, then the phone doesn't complete booting I mean just stuck on booting. I did try another version, and also doesn't work. The phone only accept one or tow version which is a Global RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM and Middle East version RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11.003_PR_COMBINED_003_ARM. Just accepting the old version. When I update to latest version, it just stuck for more than 4 hours on the 5 dots or booting.
I did read almost or all the posts talking about this problem and no one worked with me. I did flash it with EMMC first then OS but also nothing happened. And when I flash with the old global, the phone boot up and work fine but when I check the IMEI there is nothing show up. And there is red line on the top on the sim card. I tried many SIM card. But nothing work. I hope I can find solution.
NOTE: The phone out of warranty.
I updated my X6 thorugh NSU. Now the issue I am facing is the touch screen not working properly. Especially, the onscreen button nears edges are not pressed when I try to touch them. For example, if I select Full QWERTY keyboard in messaging, I cannot press spacebar and the entire line. When I try to touch these buttons at the bottom, the line above is pressed.
Looks like some error in screen calibration. But there is not option for calibration in X6 ( being a capacitive touch screen). What should I do now, please help? I hope its just a firmware issue since everything was working correctly on version 10 firmware. Is there any solution to fix the issue?
No matter how hard I look I simply cannot find the select runtime option in the developer's menu to switch to ART. It's simply not there. I have a Rogers LG G3 and the device performance has been pretty sluggish since I bought the thing.
