I would like to be able to set my phone up in the evening hours with a profile that will:
Keep all notifications silent. Stop vibration
but is should also: Ring if I get a call
Play the notification if I have an alarm set Is there an app to do this since I can't find this anywhere in the phone itself... Seems like a basic requirement for people like me who travel.
I have a seidio extended battery for my phone and had the seidio doc which is horrible and I recommend to no one. It's built cheap and can break very easy. The metal charging prongs on the seidio doc just broke so I switched over to my normal blackberry bold doc.The problem is when I charge my phone I get a ton of different things that happen. I have my phone set up to enter bedtime mode and turn my profile to silent during certain hours when the phone is plugged in to charge. During these times the phone will always enter bedtime mode but three different things happen:
1. Phone dims and displays a clock
2. Screen light stays on and keyboard is illuminated
3. Phone goes dark - All lights turn off
I just want the phone to go dark and charge and put my profile to silent during the times I have set up. I like the phone dimming but it's still a little too bright for me at night. Can anyone help or suggest what I can do?
When I go to sleep I put my old phone in off line but when I bought the 2730c there is a option called flight can I use it when going to sleep because I don't like to turn off my phone so tell me is it right what IM doing or bad for my phone 2730 phones i had used n70-9300 -n818g-2630- 5800 and 2730c

How can I select highest resolution on automatic mode and scenes mode? It looks like some inportant function is missing. The creative mode is really hard to use. I perfer automatic and scenes mode which is easiler for me but I want it to be the best resolution is there any way because I couldn't find the setting?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have tried to synchronize my Aino for several times with Outlook. It worked last time, now the process is being interrupted. I did several attemps to synchronize, but in the middle of the proceess, the PC Suite all of a sudden switches from PC mode to USB mode. It looks as if the Aino had just been connected, but I haven't touched the Aino, the cable, or the computer.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy N900 only seems to be able to connect to PC Suite in 'non-compatibility' mode.This mode doesnt allow me to use any of the PC suite applications.How do I change the mode to 'compatibility' mode, or the 'normal' mode so everything works!No options appear on the phone when the USB cable is connected for PC Suite, like it should do? The phone is automatically charged via the connection though.

I have been using the Situations App (formerly Nokia Situations) to automatically put my phone into offline mode, and power saving mode over night. 9pm to 6:30am.Recently the phone as started refusing to leave the offline mode in the morning. Even if I try to change the profile manually it says "Unable to change profile". The only way I can get out of offline mode is to reboot.I uninstalled Situations, and manually put the phone into offline mode and power saving mode. By the morning I had the same issue, stuck in offline mode until reboot. So it's not the App causing the problem. I've tried a soft reset, same problem still.
I also noticed that over-night (from fully charged before 9pm) to 6:30am I used about 70% of my charge. (A combination of power saving mode and offline mode is killing my battery!)I would have to go to work and immediately put my phone on charge! I.e.. 12 hours of offline + power save has drained my battery almost completely.Last night I decided to use the Situations App to put the phone into offline mode, BUT NOT activate power save mode.This morning the phone had virtually full charge and it had no problem returning to online mode.So it's ONLY if I use BOTH power-save and offline. (Tonight I will try using power-saving mode and NOT offline mode to see if it's only the power-saving mode causing the issue!)If I manually enter offline+power-save mode, and then try to return to on-line/non-power-save mode, relatively quickly, i.e.. Not over-night, everything is fine. It's only over night the problems start!
When I go to Offline mode I can't switch back to any other mode without having to remove the battery of my E72. I can't even switch off the phone as it freezes. This issue started when I installed the first phone software update last year. Yesterday I installed the latest software but the problem persists.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo earlier today before I went in to school I put my phone in bedside mode (so that the led would not blink (I use berrybuzz, which is very bright)) then locked the keyboard and put it in standby, for added security, before putting it in my book bag. After 2nd period I got my phone out and it was hot, as if it had been continuously downloading something or playing a video. The screen was dim but never turned off. The battery, which was at 100% only 1 or 2 hours earlier, was drained to 1 bar. I checked to see if any apps were running, with no luck, and then pulled the battery out and left it out until about an hour ago or so. The phone is fine now, but I don't know what happened.
View 9 Replies View RelatedJust updated two days ago and my Airplane Mode icon will take me to the settings screen where I have to tap on Airplane Mode again which turns it into a two step process and makes the icon pointless. The other thing is that the screen is not dimming like it did in Power Saver mode. I keep my screen about 1/3 because indoors it's all I need and it would drop it about 10% before I updated to 4.3. Now it keeps it at the 1/3 default no matter what. I can't really say whether it's having a dramatic effect on battery life, but it would be nice to get that extra 5% in times of need.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I connect the phone to my computer in the MSC mode, I have access to it via Windows Explorer etc., so e.g. I can load music onto my phone,but I cannot install Apps. If I try to do so in the MSC mode, Google Play tells me that the download of the app will start soon, but then nothing happens.If I connect the XPeria in the MTP mode, nothing happens except that my computer utters the first tone of the "USB connected"-signal three times. In the MTP mode the Sony PC companion also tells me that itīs not possible to connect the phone.I reinstalled the PC Companion, restarted my computer and my phone but nothing changed.Is there any possibility to install Apps in the MSC mode? If not, how can I make the MTP mode work again?

I want to get this back to original stock firmware based on the G920i. The only problem is that I cannot get into Download Mode to be able to use Odin. I have tried all of the hardware combinations and the only thing is does is take me to a Factory Mode, where the options are Auto Test, Manual Test, Item Test, Test Report, Debug Test, Clear eMMC, Version, and Reboot.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
I went into Airplane Mode today using the widget. It turned off my Wifi (but not GPS?) and went into Airplane Mode just fine. Then when using the widget to turn Airplane Mode off I see my Wifi turn back on, but the Airplane Mode isn't removed. The only way I can find to actually take the phone out of Airplane mode is to hold the power button and toggle it from the silent/airplane/power popup.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy iphone 3gs (05.11.07 baseband) was stuck in the DFU mode (back screen) While in the middle of restoring the custom 3.1.2 firmware made from Pwnage tool; itunes throws 1600 error. It is now really much stay in the DFU mode; I try to get out of the it by hold both home and power buttons for 10 seconds but doesn't work. I also tried iRecovery, but it doesn't recognize the iPhone while connected with usb. Is there anyway to get out of it? I also try to restore the original 3.1.2 firmware, but iTunes doesn't like it also. Is there anyway I can restore the 3.1.2 firmware? I don't have the shsh file.

So I put the phone in DFU mode to try and do a full restore, but it keeps coming up with an error 4013, not allowing me to complete the restore, now it will not turn back on. It just comes up with connect to iTunes .... How can I fix this?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI was syncing my iPhone 4 to my PC and it restarted with black screen and went into recovery mode, however, when I tried to restore it the screen went white and so I pressed the HOME + POWER at the same time and it went all the way to black screen. Now, it says the iPhone is on DFU mode and whenever I try to restore it, I am getting an error on iTunes. I would like to know what are my other options to power ON my iPhone so I can go to recovery mode?

i was charging my phone via usb through my laptop and it suddenly went into white/grey screen with weird screen and so i pressed the home + power and went into recovery mode (itunes + usb logo). i tried to restore it and i keep on getting error 1600. after a few hours, the screen just went black and whenever i press home + power button, nothing happens. i went to a repair shop and a guy "shocked" the battery and there it went back to recovery mode. i tried to restore it again on dfu mode and still getting error 1600.
if i try it on restore mode, i will get error 21. what i did is i plug in the device, put it on recovery mode and then put it in dfu then restore and still error 1600 ---- googleed and Internetd so,me videos until i saw a video to change the host file and downloaded it and then boom --- it was fixed! while i was fixing my newly repaired iphone 4 version 5.1 -- all of a sudden it went to restarted then went into recovery mode. after a few hours again, it went to dfu mode and i went to the repair shop to shock the battery but that didn't work until now. i can't get my phone to restore mode even if i press the home + power button. stuck on dfu mode.i have a saved shsh for 5.0.1 and 5.1 -- so i built a custom firmware with snowbreeze and ifaith but i keep on getting error 3014, 1600, 1601, 1608 on restoring it.
