On my Xoom, I was able to log onto my bank's website but the page would not scroll to enable reading the bottom half. I could pinch and expand easily, but not scroll at all. Is this a function of the bank's software limitation or is there something on the Xoom that I can enable?
View 9 RepliesI got my Xoom primarily to access my database and bookmarked & annotated PDFs during client home visits and SS hearings without bringing a laptop. Of course, the Verizon salesperson said I could do all that. But, I could not find a PDF reader that retains bookmarks . My files are sometimes 400-600 or more pages long. I can't scroll through page by page to quickly find what I need using docs to go.
I set up remote desktop for Xoom (phonemypc) as an alternative. This works great(except for brief lags in response times) but I have to enlarge the view on my Xoom to read the remotely controlled monitor screen. I can't see a whole page at once because of this. If, though, I try to scroll in any of the remote desk top views, the Xoom screen moves. I don't want my Xoom screen to move. I want to move within the program on my remote desktop.
Will a bluetooth mouse enable me to use scroll bars without moving the Xoom screen? Or is there an app or method for stopping the Xoom screen from moving when I try to slide a scroll bar on my remote desktop screen? (trying to pull up the traditional right click menu on a scroll bar is a hit and miss experience and it takes multiple tries to get where I need to go in a document--it's too slow).
Firefox settings issues - can't access websites when docked
My motorola atrix has a wi fi connection , is docked and linked to tv using hdmi dock, bluetooth activated wireless mousse and keyboard all work but cannot connect to any websites - comes up with can't connect or find server message. only thing i haven't tried is to do with the firewall settings, proxy , vpn, etc ....I do not know what any of them are
Upgraded to ICS on Monday. Facebook app did not work, so opened up the browser to check if mobile webiste works, it did not. Tried wikipedia.org.surprisingly (and frustratingly) it did not work. Did a factory reset.What i have noticed is, if i use wifi, it works it doesnnot work on data connection. Also everytime i open wikipedia (it does not load obviosly) my cache become more than 5 mb.kept trying different websites...amazon.com did not load toooo installed chrome and tried it no avail.

I can access contect from the apps fine (like facebook) BUT If I try to access facebook or another website that needs login and password entered, the phone browser kicks it back saying that the login and password was invalid. Now I can log into those same sites fine on the PC.

For example try to upload a pic onto tineye.com with the RAZR and it has an error, but my droid 2 & samsung fascinate worked fine in the past.

It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. Any ideas on this or what actual app controls the scrolling?

View 13 Replies View RelatedLove my RAZR Maxx however something I've noticed (I've had Moto Droid/Droid2 and HTC Incredible) is that when scrolling (like email or web pages) my finger must barely touch the home button (or the back/menu/search buttons) and my scrolling gets interrupted by the button function. It seems much more sensitive than any of my other phones.Anyone else have this issue or am I the only klutz? Maybe there is a setting to change sensitivity but can't find it.

AurPush Detector hasn't found any responsible apps and I can't determine if there's any particular website I visit that triggers it to pop up.
When searching something within the Google App, there is no issues with the search itself, however when I click on a link to certain websites (Wikipedia is the biggest one I have noticed), I get the message "No App Found to Open URL". I have reset app preferences and tried this in safe mode with the same results. I have tried several browsers as the default with no difference.
