Just wondering how to go about uninstalling the 3.1 (canadian) update. I'm just at the end of my rope with every program force closing, the camera and gallery freezing up, and the launcher itself force closing and reopening the last app that I just closed. 3.0 was far more useable than this, and I would like to return to that until another update comes (apparently November).
View 1 RepliesAfter running an update I found that a new app had been install called Citrix Receiver. I have looked at what this app does, as well as doing multiple google searched for information about it and it is definately something that I will never be using. As such I tried to uninstall it but there does not appear to be any way to do so. I have approached Citrix with this issue, they refered me to my service provider who then refered me to here The other part of the problem with it is that it keeps identifying that there is an update available for the app, which I have not downloaded, and whenever I try to update other apps that I use on a daily basis, skipping the update to Citrix Receiver seems to make the updates to the other apps get skipped as well.Mototola Xoom Tablet Model Number MZ601, running Android Version 3.2, Citrix Receiver App version 2.1
View 3 Replies View RelatedUpdated and WiFi is fine but now Netflix is hosed. I had installed Netflix from the market. Now when I try to start Netflix it says a new version of the application is found and I have to update. Now I am in a loop that sends me to the market to update. Choosing update sends me to a screen where the only option is to open the app. And so the loop begins...new version must update.I cannot uninstall Netflix. Now it is unusable. Can anyone help? I have forced a stop of Netflix but it is the same loop. Open, must update, market, update, open, must update, market, update, open...Update-- I powered off/on and the Netflix update showed up correctly on the notification area. Updated and happy now. Checking the rest of the apps. Now I am back to enjoying my Xoom FE.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

I can uninstall any downloaded app but am unable to see how to uninstall any of the default apps. I can remove them from the desktop, but they will remain on the phone. I have the same result in the app menu on the phone itself. The only way to get the market and/or the app menu on the phone to get going again is to reboot. I tried booting into safe mode and uninstalling apps through settings (app menu) but it still just hangs on uninstalling.

We've been informed by email that our Xoom 4G upgrade will be available in September (2011), early Sept or late Sept who knows. We'll also have to send the Xoom back for the upgrade so the inconvenience factor to get our 4g is high.
Well for those of us [i.e. myself] who bought early in the hopes that Motorola would exceed our personal expectations and put the upgrade in our Xooms quickly after the initial Xoom release on Feb 24, 2011, we've been disappointed with this unreasonably long delay.
The bar of what we expect from Motorola is now set by the Galaxy tab 4G and the tab speeds are, well, phenomenal.[URL].. So, a personal observation, the upgrade had better be stellar and fast now that the Xoom will [maybe?] be the No. 2 4g tablet on the Verizon network. You can't win the first to 4g tablet market race but you sure better not blow the performance side of 4g.
There is a lot to like about the tablet, but some features I'm disappointed in. I was looking at the "supported devices" page for the Motocast USB software and it does not include this tablet. At the bottom of the page, it also says "MotoCast USB software works with most but not all of Motorola's Android devices." Is it possible to use it on the FE?

The issue has been posted in the forum, and the only answer I've gotten is that I have to send it in to get the update. Does that mean I will have to send it in every time and update is available?
