Motorola Xoom :: Transfer Digital Copies Of Movies To It?
Nov 28, 2011I am trying to transfer digital copies of movies to my xoom. The first is a universal studios which I put on my computer but cannot transfer to my xoom.The second is a lions gate film digital copy which makes you go through itunes. I did that but cannot get it to my xoom.I traded in my Ipad 2 for a xoom for more possibilities. I guess i should have stuck with the obvious simple Ipad because I am not smart enough to use the xoom.

Sep 22, 2012I know that with the Gingerbread update the duplicate SMS issue was supposed to be fixed but it is still horrendous on my phone. I just received 10..10 copies of the same SMS. This is not a one off occurrence either. Almost daily I receive multiple copies of the same message. I know I'm on a Droid 2 and am due for a much needed upgrade but am trying to hold out for a Droid 5 (if there is even to be one). In other words I'll probably wait until the beginning of 2013 before I pull the trigger on a new phone. Is it safe to say there are no more software updates coming? I know it won't be ICS or anything but any bug fixes? The last time I reset my phone was approximately 60 hours ago, it just froze so had to hard reset.

However, as time passes, my contacts keep growing with hundreds of copies with each entry. I mean when I select a contact an choose "Edit Contact" list shows me hundreds of same entries, as a result phone becomes unresponsive while trying to open "Edit Contact" activity. At the same time this causes general unresponsiveness on the phone because I think it fills memory and tries to garbage collect for a long time (I inferred these by looking "adb shell logcat" and "adb shell dumpsys meminfo". When I run "adb shell dumpsys meminfo" command while trying to open "edit contact, it became hung in that process)Can Turkish characters in my contacts cause this problem?

Nov 15, 2012I am having a problem while playing music that is stored on the device in my collection (not streaming). I try to play a song and it says "opening". Then the song comes in and out sporadically for a couple of seconds. Then it stops for about two minutes and then plays again for a few seconds. Sometimes it plays fine, but I notice that when I am at the health club, the problem always occurs. Could it be a connection issue even if the music is stored locally and not being streamed?

However, in this phone, when you are in the songs list in the mucic player, there is no option to search by typing in the keywords of a song...atleast thats what i think.. Am I right? this is because I dont want to be scrolling down the whole list just to listen to a specific song. Mar 19, 2010I was looking in my backups in Desktop Manager and noticed a file called CustomWordsCollection. I suspect this is the SureType "learning" dictionary. I want to wipe it out and start over.So I loaded this up in advanced and selected the line and clicked "clear". But it won't clear. So then I thought I might try to find an earlier back up with only a few words (my current one has 200+) and overwrite the existing one. So I found one with 37 records. I double arrow clicked to move the older backup from the left to the right, and it ADDED those words. I can't figure out how to just wipe out the existing 200+ customwordscollection. I thought I was supposed to be able to clear these and it would basically "delete" the number to 0. Am I doing something wrong or misunderstanding the functionality? Please help. I'm pretty confident this is the file that needs to be wiped out to get me to a start over place.
