Eseries / Communicators :: Nokia E6 Search In The Songs Collection Not Available?

I am using E6 Anna. I was earlier using a Blackberry. In the Blackberry there was a search box or you could simply type the name of the song and it would be automatically searched. However, in this phone, when you are in the songs list in the mucic player, there is no option to search by typing in the keywords of a song...atleast thats what i think.. Am I right? this is because I dont want to be scrolling down the whole list just to listen to a specific song. My music library is not perfect meaning I dont have songs with all details perfectly filled in. Is there any way to get over this..except updating to Belle..
when i transfer songs from other phone to Nokia E5 via Bluetooth the songs file gettings stored in Inbox with bluetooth symbol. How can i point it to store in phone memory or to Memory card
My Nokia E-5 music player does not show all songs. The file manager does though. I have tried everything that I could, from the internet. No solution yet. Nokia wont address it. Please don't ask me to refresh my music player.
When I use the refresh function on the music library to transfer new songs, the new songs don't get transfered on the amount stays the same. How can I add new songs? Is there something wrong with the device?
I have an E6 with Anna 022.014 and all in all I am quite happy with it, just the battery seems to be under par.I'm trying to understand if this is a problem of my handset only or if it's an E6 characteristics, since I read discording experiences (people who may run it for days and others who have to charge much more often).I've gone through a hard reset to see its average consumption. Disabled search indexing (I think) and some other default internet connection, I'm between 120 and 140 mAh, recorded with Energy Profiler
For no apparent reason the direct contact search is gone from my E72.I used to be able, from the main screen, to type in the names of contacts and they would automagically appear, for me to choose between hits.
That functionality is gone now, and I can't seem to find where to re-enable it..
I have a brand new Nokia E6 which comes from Germany, however I'm unable to play any songs through a playlist. I have checked the instructions and they all suggest the same, but it seems that my phone does not have the same settings. I am able to create playlists and name them but I cannot add any songs to them - whenever I open a playlist the only songs I have are the pre-installed Nokia songs. I can play songs one by one, from the music folder.
When I got my E5 I could start typing a name of a contact and the search worked nicely. But now nothing happens as I type - it just shows the text/numbers that I have entered. I'd like to get this back as it's a really nice feature. Is there something I should be turning on/off to get this to work?
I have a weird problem with my E71. Occasionally the contacts search where you start typing a name and the contacts pop up filtered on the home screen just stops working. I can get it working again by disabling and reenabling the feature (by typing something and choosing options>contacts search off; then turning back on).
why it is randomly ceasing to work? It's really annoying to sometimes use it and have it not work and then have to disable and re-enable.
I have over 1,500 contacts in Outlook and has successfully synchronized them with Nokia E72 (last firmware). But quick search in Contacts application simply doesn't work - I can find only few contacts - others just dissapear when I start typing correct letters. I tried to kill the process of this app and restart Contacts. Voila, it works correctly! But then in 5 min. I tried again and got just the same problem. Desktop quick search doesn't work too.I've already tried to reload all the contacts in my phone - no results.
C5-03 How can I delete a favourite collection map....Used Ovi map 3.06..It does not work in Ovi suite ( collection is not vissible!) and the phone itself
I am using lumia 800 and updated my cellular to 12070 yesterday.But unfortunately the battery was still poor, it consumed all the batteries from 100% to the statebthat phone not being able to turn on by 6-7 hours.So i resetted all data and settings and I solved the battery problem.However another problem occured.i couldn't use nokia maps and network setting app after the reset.When i try to install the programme, the error occurs and I couldn't find "nokia collection"I consulted this problem with Microsoft store in Budapest and two nokia care centres and all of them couldn't solve my problem so I asked the phone seller to send it to the other center because the phone is made for Italy and Hungarian nokia centres told me that I have to pay money for it, even though it is brand new
I am having a problem while playing music that is stored on the device in my collection (not streaming). I try to play a song and it says "opening". Then the song comes in and out sporadically for a couple of seconds. Then it stops for about two minutes and then plays again for a few seconds. Sometimes it plays fine, but I notice that when I am at the health club, the problem always occurs. Could it be a connection issue even if the music is stored locally and not being streamed?
my nokia n8 wont turns on, it displays nokia when i plugin the charger or data cable and after few sec turns off again, i tried my best but it wont start
I keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I have decided to try nokia messaging on my E72 so that I can get IMAP idle working properly. I tried to set this up, but was unable to do so. Searching on the WWW seems to bring back sites which over the last week have not loaded [URL]
the links arenot sent to my nokia E5-00 i tried to send them again but i got no message from nokia store and i tried downloading the theme from the cell directly but the download fails
What is a good app to listen to music to on the e71? Pandora doesn't work with this phone. And mobbler is only good for a one month free trial. Are there any good free music apps at all with this phone?
I have bought Nokia E5 just couple of weeks ago. Camera does not focus well and the pictures are not clear. 3.2 MP Camera of my nokia N93 was alot better than its(E5) 5 Mega Pixel. Nokia should sort this out, they should have checked it before introducing in the market.
what to do. My Nokia E7-00 always hang but after switching the phone off and putting it on again it starts working. When I tried to download from the Ovi Store from the phone it connected but after a while it hanged and all attempt to restore it has not been successful.
