Motorola W/WX Series :: Difference Between BT50 And BQ50 Battery?
Dec 12, 2011
What is the difference between a BT50 battery (850mAh) and a BQ50 battery (910mAh) ? For example, does one take longer to charge; or does one last longer between charges if phone is idle; or will one last longer between charges if 3GP videos have been played?I am thinking of buying a replacement battery for my Motorola W450 phone, and I think both BT50 and BQ50 are compatible.
My W385 requires a BT50 battery. The Motorola replacement battery is $25, and is rated at 850 mAh. There are aftermarket batteries available at 1/3 the price, but although it is referred to as a BT50 replacement, it is rated at 1,000 mAh. Is the difference in ratings a problem?
We have 2 WX345 phones from Consumer Cellular. Both have long lasting batteries until I insert a 4GB SD memory card.Battery life drops to 4 hours or so.
Overall, I like the user experience of Belle. What really sucks is the battery life: one day or less. Now I've found a "guide" to flash back Anna and am considering this step because I've read more than once that Anna is better on this side.Sincerely, when I had Anna I didn't notice these great performances, but maybe it depended on a young battery. So now I'd like to know if anyone can support the choice of Anna for increasing the battery life.
I have a Bionic from the day after release and a friend has a newer Bionic. I have some camera lag and small issues similar to a lot of people here, but he doesn't seem to have any problems. If you look at the label under the battery, you will see what I assume is a hardware revision number. Mine is "HW A" and his is "HW B". Anyone know the revisions if I am assuming right? The next line has what I believe to be a manufacture date. I think mine was 27/11 (week of 2011) and his was 42/11.
what is the difference between Laps and Intervals? and which do i use if i wanted to use the jeff Galoway style training....run 3min walk 2min. Which do I use, Laps or Intervals and how do i set it up?
I had to move some apps to the SD card to free up memory. Well, I noticed something odd, and I'm trying to figure out what the bleep is going on. When you have an app in phone memory, the storage totals are significantly higher than if its on the SD card.
For example, Google's Sky Map app. On the phone, it takes 2.54Mb of storage for the app alone. But when I move it to the SD card, it's only taking 468Kb. So, um, what happened to the other 2000 or so Kb? Now, I know different storage media will have different requirements, and hence possibly differing memory used, but a 2Mb difference? Its an even bigger difference with other apps. Google Earth is about 15Mb on the SD card and 22Mb on the phone. And before somebody asks, no, its not just google apps, anything I can move does the same thing.
I have a droid 1, running 2.2.2 FRG83G. The phone is working just fine, but this is making me batty.
What is the difference between Advanced Task Killer & the free version? With that, is there something better than ATK?Ive heard the advanced task manager is a better solution.
I am using the asha 302 since past 2 months, have been facing issues with the battery life. It doesn't even last a day. My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. Never heard or had an experience with NOKIA handsets using up so much of battery.
so i bought my nokia asha 302 2 days ago, and i am loving it.....except the battery.....i had to recharge after the first day......and even today i will need to recharge.
i know this is a cheap smartphone, but i dont think its suppost to last just one day.how can i make this battery last for at least 2 days??if i cant, otherwise i am going to return this phone
I just bought the phone about 2 weeks ago, I use it for texting, music and surfing (rarely)... I just noticed the fully charged battery only lasted for 20-22 hrs.? Sometimes I just using it for music purposes then suddenly when I got home from work... its turns out that its batter empty? Not surving a day! it advertised it will lasted for i think 47 hours of music? I uninstalled some apps (whatsapp) i just read in some post that it may cause the wifi to automatically to turn on but i didnt notice any changes, I check the connectivety setting make sure the wifi or Bluetooth are on but still no changes its just drains the power.
I've just purchased (February 2011) a Nokia 3710 from Koodo Mobile in Canada. I've found that the battery on it is absolutely horrible, and needing to recharge it after 3 days, ten texts and an hour of talk time. This is in an area with a full-bar 3G signal, and the phone set to UMTS-only instead of dual-mode. Even my four-year-old LG can handle that and not need a recharge.Anyways, the internet seems to be abuzz with talk of a firmware update that addressed performance issues with the phone, It appears that my software (version 4.35) is the latest software out there (and that is what the'update sw' feature of my phone tells me), but I've also heard that there is a firmware 9.73 that came out on February 8, 2011.Does my phone need a firmware update? I like the phone, but I will be returning it in a few days if this battery issue cannot be addressed.
I was given a brand new Nokia 6700 slide as a Christmas present - my son wanted to bring me into the 21st century! I have learned that I should recharge it nightly, but I find if I make even one or two calls, as opposed to simply texting, the battery runs out before the end of the day. Is this normal for a new battery ?
Nokia, I have Nokia 2700 classic and I would like to see remaining battery in percentage (like in Sony-Ericsson). Nothing more, nothing less. The best solution would be to see it in stand-by mode.
I find very useful be working on my PC connected, via Bluetooth + Nokia PC Suite, with the nokia 2690, thus annotations in calendar and contacts are automatically synchronized in both sides. My question : working in this way, can cause a noticeable extra consumption of battery ?. Let us say I am making 5 to 10 annotations by day.
it possible to get a Series 40 (S40) handset, such as 6100 or 6700, to automatically sync over the air to cloud services such as Google? I know there are many ways to do this with S60 Symbian handsets (Mail for Exchange, various 3rd party apps) but not sure on the S40?
know the battery capacity of the XOOM (MZ601), mine is 3260mah Reason for the question is my xoom, replaced about a month ago used to give me 5 days life, now its 2 days, and thats just scraping in.... No SD card, same apps, same usage pattern
Both my wife and I have Defy's owned for 4 months and upgraded to Froyo 2.2 some weeks ago.both working normally. Then yesterday my phone, for no obvious reason, came up with the message "Invalid Battery.Your device battery is invalid and cannot be charged. Replace the battery with an origional motorola battery." Also the battery symbol at top right of display is black, not green, and has a? mark in it. I have checked my battery, which came with the phone, and it is official Motorola with hologram. So is my wifes.I tried swapping the batteries and while my battery works perfectly in her phone, her battery in my phone gives the same errors.I then tried a master reset....Twice! Both successful, wiping all my data, and requiring me to set up the phone again, but problem still remains.
When I look at the battery use in Settings/Battery Information it shows items such as WIFI at 4+% ( WIFI not even on) or a game I played (today Jewels Star at 25% - only was to make this one disappear is to uninstall the program, this is true with any game I play). My question is, is this information about what WAS running or information on what IS running. or both.
i recorded some audio from the FM radio, recording stops after every 2 minutes, recorded audio is playable on phone but whenever i connect it to my computer
(win xp sp2) I see the SOUND folder is empty, so is the JAVA folder i need to get that audio on my computer, please advise me or i will just have to purchase a 2.5MM jack and connect it tp the computer and use audacity to record it which i dont want to do, it's my first time
Bought this peice of garbage Boost Rambler which worked 48 hours before going belly up, got it fixed (maybe, haven't been able to try it), now Boost won't allow it to be reactivated. That's a Boost problem. Selling a defective phone is a Motorola problem. A quality company would stand behind their purchasers.
I have a new EX 115 with sim cards from my US and my Belgian accounts. Both are shown on the screen, but all calls go immediately to voicemail. The phone never rings. What is going on and how do I fix it
