Motorola Smartactions :: Missed Call Setup?

I am having issues with the smart actions missed calls setup.I created a rule from scratch that basically states that if I have a missed call from any number, my phone will auto reply to the person (with my custom text message) and this applies to calls only not missed text.
Trigger (Missed call)
Action (Auto Reply text)
So what happens is when someone calls me and I miss the call, I see the smart action "missed call" go active, but it never sends the text message?However when I created a sleep rule that states during night time, have the ringer on silent, and vip calling, and also autoreply with text stating im sleep but will call when I wake up.
Trigger (Time frame night)
Action (Silent/Vibrate ringtone)
Action(VIP Calling)
Action(Autoreply Text)
I checked for conflicting rules, and none of them are conflicting so what could be causing the missed call smart action not to work?

i was trying to set up a sa to always ring when my bride calls me whether i have my phone on vibrate or not. i watched a couple of videos on Internet today and thought i had it figured out. so i went to triggers and incoming call is not one of my choices. my phone also got the update this morning. is there anything i can do to make this happen?

It appears that the only volume action that exists in Smart Actions is the one for the Phone Ringer. Does anyone know of a way to set notification, call or media volumes? If not, I wonder why they left those actions out, especially notification and call volume settings. Those would seem to go hand in hand with ringer volume to me.

First let me start by saying I had the RAZR and I used Smart Actions quite a bit to control certain functions. I then got the MAXX because well I wanted it.. and its massive battery. So, I updated to 6.12.173 and went to set up a smart actions and found that I could not find the Incoming Call Trigger.Now I had this bult on the orginal RAZR already, and I had updated the phone so I went back and it is mssing from their as well.

If a phone call comes in, that is missed, and a voicemail is left.is there not a missed call notification, along with the voicemail notification icon? Is a missed call icon ONLY for calls that come in, and yet no voicemail is left?

How do you change the missed call notification? I have a song set for my ringtone and when I miss a call it plays the full song and won't stop. I've had to reboot the phone to make it quit.

I have got liveview and can read texts, emails and see who is phoning me and my missed calls but I expected to be able to phone people from it via my blue tooth head set. Is this possible or am I asking too much?

has anyone experienced problems with their call log? It is set for 30 days but when I try to access "Missed Calls", "Received Calls" or "Dialled Numbers" nothing happens. Also when I press the green send key, no previously dialled numbers are shown. If I receive a missed call and press "show" I just get the home screen.

I recently noticed that the screen of my HTC One stays on after I miss a call. It eventually locks again on its own, but only after 2 minutes (i.e., the time I set for it to sleep on its own). The normal behavior I expect is for the phone to lock immediately after the phone stops ringing, as there could be various accidents if the screen is on while in my pocket.
I'm running CM 11 (i.e., Android 4.4.2).

Since the new Android update, I don't get any notifications for missed calls anymore. I do see every call when I go to the call list, but so I don't get any notifications for missed calls. My sister has the same problem since the new update.

I've replaced my old 3109 phone with a C2-01 but I'm disappointed as some basic functionnalities disapearred. while idle the screen is black no way to see time if I miss a call ... no way to see it When I missed a call with my old 3109, the screen blinked as long as I unlocked the phone.How can I do the same thing with the C2-01 ?
If you also have a tip to get time while the phone is idle, that's perfect.

My xperia ray will notify me when I have missed a call. It only does this once, is this the phones characteristic or is there a setting to have it sound off continuosly until I have retreived it?

Whenever I receive a call and I miss that call i don't get an alert of ever getting that call. The phone icon doesn't show I missed it, doesn't tell me I have a voice mail or anything. My phones pretty brandnew, only a few weeks old.

I have updated to v40 in the UK and ever since then I no longer get the SMS and Missed Call Pop up box with the option to view or cancel. I have tried a hard reset and also reinstalling the software but to no avail and I am still left without these Pop Ups. I can't stand them not being on the screen when I get a missed call or a text message.

On the 9700, when a call is missed, does the led flash?I know of the 3rd party apps and have tried them. I am back to stock and was wondering.I thought it did, but from searching it seems that it doesn't?? Maybe I'm mistaken.It did on my 9000.

This is my first post and I hate to start with a problem but I'm at my witts end with this one. I've searched but couldnt find a similar post about the Bold 9700. For some reason, it does not show missed calls in the call log. I can only see them if I have a missed call at the time, but once I exit the missed call log, I cannot view it until I have another missed call. I do not want them to appear in the messages folder either and the BB9700 does not have an option to View Recent that the 9000 has in call log view.

When I have a missed call, the LED flashes red and the only way I can turn it off is to turn my BB off and on again. Is there some other way to accomplish this?

I did a search and found threads on the led not blinking at all but couldn't find anything about if you can make it blink longer. I thought I remember seeing a setting for this but maybe it was on a different phone. Is there a way to make the missed call led blink longer?
