Whenever I receive a call and I miss that call i don't get an alert of ever getting that call. The phone icon doesn't show I missed it, doesn't tell me I have a voice mail or anything. My phones pretty brandnew, only a few weeks old.
it can show up in my message log. i don't need to see a message that says i have X amount of missed calls, and then required to push the OK button. I don't need to push that button, i can see the missed call symbol perfectly fine.
I just purchased a LG G3 (coming from a Note 3) and noticed that notifications do not wake up the lock screen like the Note did. Also, when I do receive a text, I have to swipe to unlock the screen and it does not give a preview of the text, only who sent it. Is this a limitation of the phone? For work, I need the preview on the lock screen.
When I have a missed call my notification only says "Missed Call / Wireless Caller" instead of displaying the name or phone number of the person who called even when they are in my address book. I cant seem to find a setting for this besides the "Notifications on lock screen- Show content" which I have already enabled. I also have "Show caller information" enabled in the call settings.
I was facing the problem of contacts & call log after updating the 2.1(multitouch update). My call log doesn't record the incoming, outgoing and missed call. Sometimes it records and sometimes it doesn't.
I know previous versions of the iPhone did not have this, but do the latest iPhones still not have a missed call indicator (like my old Droid) used to. why this useful feature is missing?
I have got liveview and can read texts, emails and see who is phoning me and my missed calls but I expected to be able to phone people from it via my blue tooth head set. Is this possible or am I asking too much?
I'm randomly not hearing the sound for incoming texts, even though everything else (visual notifications) work. I wasn't sure about this until today, when I received 10 texts while the Bold was sitting on my desk in a quiet room. 4 of them made no sound; the other 6 did. All in random order. I have the latest AT&T official released OS. Is this a known issue? I've searched this forum, but I'm not a pro here, and haven't found this specific issue.
Just got my iphone 3Gs recently. I can see the missed call message on lock screen. But the moment i unlock the screen, i could not find where the iphone store the missed call message.
My iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1 does something strange and very annoying when I get a missed call. When my iPhone receives a missed call, it shows a screen that asks you to accept that you received a missed call and then it takes you to a "missed call menu" from which you can do things like "call back in 5" "send "who is it" " etc. What happens is that instead of doing this, my phone goes haywire and starts flickering the screen and acting unresponsive to what I do. It's very annoying as each time I have to do a hard reset.
The missed call screen freezes in the iPhone 4S. This happens to me all the time. I've reset the whole system, I've upgraded the iOS from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 and nothing, the problem persists.
One of my contact has two mobile numbers (say, 1234 and 6789). Both are stored in contact as "mobile". When he rign me up, or if I'm not able to pick up the call I see the missed call from him. It just shows "mobile" (his name is there). Is there a way to identify which was the number he rang me from (is it from 1234 or 6789)? I cannot store this number as other than "mobile" as all other fields are already occupied.
the black screen is the one shows the number and the possible actions to do, but nothing happen even pressing cancel or accept, the only way i can solved is rebooting the iphone
Last Friday (March 23rd) I tried calling a friend. It rang and rang and didn't go to their voicemail. I txt'd them and they said their phone never rang. I tried another person same thing. They tried calling me and it rang and rang. I reset the network settings and it happened again on the Saturday. I re-installed ios 5.1 on Sunday using iTunes via DFU (my phone is not jailbroken) and restored from iCloud. Since then a few times someone has tried to call me and it reports no missed call but I received a voicemail. The phone didn't ring. I checked the Diagnostics log and I see several Low Memory, and tons of other errors I have no idea what they are. Should I take the phone into Apple or try another way of re-installing ios 5.1?
In the iPhone 4 or 4s, I know that I can see the time of the missed call in the notification, in the 3gs, will I only see the name of the person who called without the time beside it?
My iphone 4s rings at 2am in the morning. The main screen does not show a call coming in, it never shows a received or missed call so there is no phone number so i cant block it. If i shut down the phone down and turn it back on before bed it seems to work and doesn't ring. I cant shut the phone off or put it on vibrate because i have an elderly mother who lives down stairs so i need to hear the phone ring if she needs me for something. I thought maybe i should reset or restore the phone but was hoping there was an easy solution.
Still can't delete VMs at times (and have tried closing all apps, restarting phone, calling VM from another phone...) BUT NOW most importantly, at times people leave a VM but I only get 'missed call' in Recents but no VM. It seems to happen over a period of a full day then it's fine. But over 4 days, 2 days of VMs were left but not received. For both issues, Verizon says its an Apple issue and Apple says its a carrier issue. iPhone 6 Plus. 8.1.0
