Motorola Razr I :: How To Force Keyboard Layer To Be Always Over Application

When I'm tap on google search bar in home screen the soft keyboard don't want popup and i see only history of search. To see the keyboard i must tap again search bar. Same is situation with google search bar widget and conjure application. This is happened after I'm doing about 1-2 cycles -open application then home screen (or back button). I think the problem is: keyboard layer (window) was opened but it is behind application layer (window). I think this because when I'm switch from google search to other application, the keyboard is showed for short time. How to force keyboard layer (window) to be always over application? Is there any possible to see and use keyboard after one tap over google search home screen bar and conjure?

For some reason, I have 2 constant issues with my razr. My keyboard force closes constantly. And I get frequent homescreen bugs where the apps are not perfectly aligned.

I recently upgraded from a Bionic to a RAZR MAXX, and really liking the phone except for one thing: whilst it performs great at my home, it spends a lot of time falling back from LTE to 3G at my work. There is LTE coverage at my work, anywhere between 1-3 bars, whereas 3G is 4-5 bars. I understand the 3G signal is stronger, however the LTE signal is still strong enough to actually work, and I really DO NOT want the RAZR preferring the slower 3G signal at my work, as one of the main tasks I use it for is as a hotspot.
The Bionic used to consistently remain on LTE at my work, however a couple of weeks ago it had begun exhibiting similar behaviour as the RAZR MAXX above - preferring the 3G signal over the LTE.i initially thought Verizon must have made some network changes here - and it's possible they did - however as a test I put my SIM back into my old HTC Thunderbolt, which I had before either the Bionic or the RAZR MAXX.
The Thunderbolt consistently holds the LTE signal and does NOT fall back to 3G.Since the Bionic and RAZR MAXX perform differently to the Thunderbolt, I'm guessing it's either some Motorola vs HTC RF chipset difference, or perhaps the algorithms in the Motorola phones purposely selecting 3G to preserve battery.Is there any way to force the RAZR MAXX to hold on to the LTE signal, rather than keep falling back to the 3G signal? Perhaps in some app, or some super-secret debug mode? It's a RAZR MAXX - I don't mind sacrificing some battery to hold on the the weaker-but-faster LTE signal.

I have a Droid Razr and my carrier is Verizon. Ever since the motorola update on friday, 2/17 I cannot open 2 email accounts (bellsouth and godaddy) They both disappeared from my email icon and altough they are listed in My accounts they have a new green icon next to the name and underneath the email address it says com.motorola.blur.provider.email. The update didn't effect my gmail account. I have spoke to several Verizon reps and a Motorola rep after removing sims card, turning off and on and several soft resets nothing has worked. When I held down the email name in My Accounts it forces close. It says the application My Accounts (process com.motorola setup)has stopped unexpectedly pease try again.

Yesterday, saw message that Verizon had OTA ICS on my phone...said upgrade would talk 15 minutes and reboot.45 minutes later, all I see is emergency dialer. time to power down and reboot...still just emergency dialer. Called verizon support...after a couple more reboots, tech says do factory reset. This works (although after downloading all my apps during the day, the phone, when rebooted to try to fix the microSD issue, went back into Emergency Dial only mode and I did yet another factory reset...ugggghhh!.)o after perusing the forums, I find that the encryption key is genereated using the MEID (by default, I don't remember which I used when I set the encryption, not that it matters). and is stored on that nice internal storage that gets wiped during the factory reset. So now, the ICS Razr will not mount the microSD card (I am sure, based on the other forums I have visited, that my data is in a better, unusable, place).

Whenever i press the search button while i am in apps screen in my razt xt910, it gives me "Sorry! The application Home-screen (process com.motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. try again". It than takes me to the home screen after a sizeable pause.

I have searched for an answer to this, so if it is out there, I apologize. I have a stock Razr Maxx HD running Jelly Bean.his problem actually started with ICS, and I thought Jelly Bean would fix it, but it hasn't.I have the "flip stand with smart charger" and for a while, desktop mode worked great with it. Then, one day, it doesn't work at all. I had it set to default to "Desk Dock" but now evertime the "smart charger" is plugged in, the screen goes black and says "Unfortunately, Desk Dock has stopped". It will not work.into the Desk Dock app under All Apps in my settings to clear data and that didn't work either

Ever since the ICS update my battery life is 2x worse than before on Gingerbread. I have noticed on here that I am not the only one with this issue. Is there and options I can do to improve battery life? I noticed there is no way to toggle back and forth betwen 3G and 4G and background data cant be turned off now. I have also noticed they got rid of the task manager that actually worked and force quit the apps. I had to force quit ever app manually ever since the update. Every app was running in the background. I got this phone for the extended battery life and if I dont use the phone all day and by the end of the night I have 20% battery left, something is wrong. ICS has a lot of great features, but if I had a chance to un-install ICS I would.

So yesterday, all of a sudden, when texting, imputting text into a chat client or into face book, the applications would freeze after about 2 words max. For instance, I'd type "I'll meet...." and the applications would freeze right after I hit space after "meet," to go onto the next word. In texting, I'd be able to go back to my home screen and then go back to the text and finish it bit by bit, but this wouldn't work for IMO or Facebook. If i stayed on the screens for those apps, they would ask me to force close due to not responding. I've tried keeping my phone on until it dies, keeping it off for an extended period of time, but nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to fix it? It really just happened all of the sudden in the middle of the day.

Me and my wife both have the MAXX. My wife has recently experienced a bug with the stock Keyboard where it will phase in on top of her screen with out the keys (No letters) for no reason. She noticed it a few weeks ago and because it only happened once or twice thought nothing of it. Recently it has gotten progressively worse and seems to act up the most when her phone is in the Dock(Desk Top). She has not DL any Keyboard APs or any none market APs.

There's a notification that pops up whenever the keyboard is open. Selecting it lets me switch input methods. Has anybody found a way to make this notification go away for good?

From the documentation the Razr is supposed to support USB Host out of the box and allow connectivity of USB devices that do not require special drivers.Specifically mentioned were USB keyboards - which is the sole reason I purchsed the Razr over the Galaxy. I have a standard USB to micro USB adapter that I've used to connect to the phone. However, the input is not recognized.How do I go about connecting a USB keyboard to the Razr so that the input is recognized

My Razr Maxx was updated to ICS this week. After the upgrade, my keys on the keyboard are about half the size they were before. It takes me 3-4 times as long to compose a text or e-mail because it is almost impossible to hit the right key or not hit two at the same time. there any way to get my old keyboard back? It was easy to use. What were the programmers thinking when they downsized an already small keyboard?

I just bought a Razr Maxx and tried to type something in all-caps but hitting the shift key twice brought it back to lowercase. I noticed it's using Motorola's keyboard... and is conspicuously absent of the default Ice Cream Sandwich keyboard (I don't like Swype). Is it possible to get caps lock back or do I have to download one of the Ice Cream Sandwich keyboards in the market?

The update to ICS has added some annoying notifications that I would like to turn off, if anybody knows how. I included a screen shot showing them.
Anytime the keyboard is up, there is a notification asking if I want to change input methods Whenever GPS is on, it adds another notification that does nothing more than take me to GPS settings
Does anybody know how to turn either of these off? I would like to keep my notifications as clutter-free as possible.

I purchased the Motorola Full Size Wireless Keyboard (model:89451N) to use with my Droid Razr Maxx Hd to make texting and sending emails easier. The problem is that when conneting keyboard to phone the phone will restart 4 out of 5 times. Once the phone has rebooted it is connected but this is becoming very frustrating. This is the only wireless keyboard that I've tried but I hoped to have little compatability issues being that both handset and keyboard are made by Motorola.

The sales literature for the RAZR MAXX HD promised the inclusion of "government-grade encryption" and a "remote wipe application" that would allow me to locate and remotely wipe the device.I was able to encrypt the phone under Android's Security settings menu, but I do not see any application or setting to enable remote wipe. My FB application icon is inaccessible and is displaying "waiting…….", below the icon for over a week now. I cannot delete the application by pressing down and holding the application and then touching the "x" at the top left of the application. The "x" does not appear when I hold down the icon.Â

I am using apple I5, with 7.1.2 software version. I am facing a problem while using my phone. i.e when i search a contact and click on the same , screen goes blank. I have to click on the center key to make it go normal.
Moreover , when i use facebook for sometime and scroll it twice or thrice, it gives force close and get to the home page. This has happened more than 5 times with me.
