"Voice commands in English not available in your location" is what I get when I try to input an address using my voice. I'm in Canada, but I don't speak French. PLEASE don't tell me I have to have it in 'French' mode for it to work in Canada! I have it set for 'English, US'.

Is it possible to enter a destination address and have the phone guide you walking? Out of interest will the N900 ever be able to support video conferencing or is there a hardware problem? View 4 Replies View RelatedMy voice search doesn't work when I am on wifi data. It keeps thinking over and over and comes back with no results. But when I switch to mobile data network it works fine and returns the results right away. I can not even use speech to text feature while on wifi it, it does the same thing as voice search on wifi. I am not able to find out what the problem is. The formatting was incorrectly checked causing all caps. Just changed the formatting to correct that.

I know that voice doesn't work on 4G , and my phone should turn to 3G by itself but it doesn't do it , the only way to get calls is to force 3G only ....
I had a Windows phone, and when a text would come through my Bluetooth, it would say Text From......then read the text, then it would give me the option to reply back (With voice text) ignore, etc. Now with my LG G4, it's synced up, but when a text comes through....it just comes up on the car display...New Message Received...then I was told to push the OK on my steering wheel, but only defaulted text replies come up....no voice text command anymore. I was told it's not the phone, but possibly need to take it in to the dealer and it may not be compatible.

Droid Turbo (Android Version 5.1) - WIFI works fine at home and seems to work other places. I have been using it for months at work. Recently I cannot connect. Other people can still connect. I had the connection saved...but even tried deleting it and researching, but it won't locate the server.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have multiple email addresses on my phone (Work, School (2), and Gmail). I have set my work email as the default under default services under advanced options. If I am in messages and I use the menu to compose a new email, the correct default email (work) is used.
However, if I am browsing my files, like a picture, and I use the menu to select send as email, it will attach it to a new email but it will be my Gmail address, not my default work address as the from address.
I have double checked and my work email is set as the default. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is not a battery pull problem either... It has been this was since I got the phone, and on my replacement as well. I reboot the phone often so its not the standard do a battery pull answer.
I've noticed that the voice input feature for text messaging (which I REALLY like!) sometimes appears to disable or something, all on its own, and when you attempt to utilize it again, it won't engage. Is there a toggle switch for this somewhere?

I just recently changed my security from a Pattern to a Pin. The only problem is now I can't enter my unlock PIN with the google voice keyboard. I said the numbers followed by "enter" and "return" or the numbers by themselves but it didn't work.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi just purchased a motonav tn765 today. i plugged it in to charge and it seems to indicate that it is charging (the power led turns yellow). after 2 hours of charging (yellow light) i removed the cord and the led turned red. activating the power switch does nothing. reseting the unit does nothing. i purchased this device at a local walmart as a clearance item. they don't have any more in stock and usually clearance items are not returnable. i called support and their only suggestion was to return it to the store. does anyone here have any ideas of how to get this device to turn on?

It won't accept a manual cancellation command either. Haven't tried to reset because I don't want to have to re-enter everything. Haven't logged onto the Motonav Tool page in years.

I'm one of three guys in the country that actually read the manual for anything. However, the manual for this device sucks. Half of it is dedicated to using the phone.Are there any good instructions for this device available or am I expected to just blunder my way around until I figure everythign out?

To try yourself, use voice commands and say "Set alarm for 5:25 PM" or "Set timer for three minutes." It will show a created alarm, you can see it in your list of alarms, but nothing happens when the alarm should go off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI will set it in the cradle and it will begin the power up process and turns off several times before the status bar completes its update.At times, I am able to get it turned and it will work as intended but after a while it says that the battery is critically low and I need to plug the device in. I have it in the cradle, and the car charger utility plug is plugged in and is displaying a green light indicating power.The MotoNav is acting as if it is not receiving power from the cigarette lighter/utility port.When I undock the MotoNav from the cradle I no longer get the message...that the device is in pedestrian mode and on battery power, do you wish to turn off the device?...the MotoNav just immediately turns off.
