Is there a way to start a competition that is something other than running, walking, cycling, elliptical or step machine? For example, if I'd like to create a competition for spinning, is there a way to do that?

the MotoACTV manual referes to clicking on "Competition" on motoactv.com, but there isn't a "Competition" tab on the site.

For example, I created a competition for a few friends, however, they didn't log in to motoactv for a couple days so all the biking they did prior to accepting the competition was not counted. There really ought to be a away for the competition creator to accept previous workouts to count towards their total. Or just allow all workouts that took place after the competition started to count, regardless of when they accepted the invitation. Additionally, workouts will occasionally disappear from the competition page, as though they never happened. They'll still appear everywhere else on the motoactv website but not on the competition page.

I would like to create a list of them and, when I decide to workout, I could pick a workout from the list and do it.Right now, the MotoACTV portal requires that I schedule any workout I create. That's not flexible enough for people who are not on a strict schedule.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUntil I can create and populate a playlist via a native Android app, I wanted to see how feesible it is to create a playlist manally in Linux and put it on the MA.Its amazingly easy.ere is what I did:1 - I mounted the motoactv and browsed to the <mountpoint>/mobile/mml folder2. I created a new subdirectory - (I used "local" but I dont thing the name matters"3. Using a playlist created in the Itunes subdirectory as a template, I created a playlist (which is just plain ascii text) and put the list in my "local" subdirectory. The name of the playlist file is what will be used as a playlist name. I called mine - "libtest.pls". I would like to see how can I use the device for trail running, and how to follow the trace on the Motoacv's screen. I have created a route using the webpage and then created a workout using that route, but I couldn't found a way to follow the route.

But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

I have the Motorolla Q9c on PagePlus (Verizon reseller).
I get free internet via QNC but it is very slow (dial up speeds).
I might upgrade my Pageplus acct to have fast data (10meg/month cap) for those times where I need info ASAP.
How to I create a profile for the QNC settings, and one for fast data settings?
I'm new to the iPhone 4. I've had it now for 4 days and absolutely love this phone.One thing I've noticed that I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere is that when data is being used there's a spinning gear that appears on the bar at the top. For the most part the location of that gear is between the 3G symbol and the clock, just left of centre. But I've noticed today for a few hours it was consistently appearing on the right side, just to the the left of the Battery indicator. And now it's back again between the 3G symbol and the clock.
Is there a reason for this location swap? Is it random or is something specific setting it that way?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI noted the past 2-3 days that my battery is dying really quick. It dies after being charged all night within 25 minutes. I also noticed that the wheel keeps spinning at the top of my screen between the time and wifi symbol. Is there a connection?

New iPhone 5S, I noticed a spinning wheel just to the left of the battery indicator. Any search on spinning wheel turns up threads about a spinning wheel next to the WiFi indicator, which is not the spinning wheel I'm seeing. Â
I've gone through my settings and disabled anything automatic and background thinking that the wheel was caused by an app processing data in the background but nothing seems to have worked. Of course my concern is that the phone is doing something and will effect either my data usage or the battery usage.Â
