Motorola I Series :: PTT ID Showing As 'Not Available' On I365
Nov 3, 2011
I have two Motorola i365 phones that I use with SouthernLINC that I have both PTT and cellular service for and both phones work great with both services.
However, one of the phones shows its full 9 digit PTT ID in the My Info section but the other phone doesn't. When I try to edit the PTT ID in the phone that shows the ID as unavailable, the phone will not let me enter more than four characters and the ID is nine characters long (ex- 1*3456*89). how to add the PTT ID?
receiving call on SIM 1 will show up the name and photo (if any) - and of course if the contact is stored in the phonebook - in the display. The same caller (who of course is stored in the phonebook) calls me on SIM 2 - the display shows me only a number, nor the name and neither the photo. Both calls has been made from a cell-phone to my motorola. All the contacts are stored under PHONE. There are no contacts neither in SIM1 nor in SIM2.
I got my nokia 701 some months before, nowadays.when inbox got 5000+ SMS , new incoming SMS doesn't shows. But after every restart those SMS pops up 1.2..3.N .
I bought a Nokia 1280 in Thailand. I have no reason to believe it was locked as it was on a prepaid plan. I just activated a t mobile sim card in the USA but the phone cannot connect to anything. I show no bars at all. When I try to lok for networks manually it cant find a newtwork. There is absolutely no information in the user guide to address this type of probem. I cant even find a diagram to show what the icons on the screen mean
My contacts are saved both on my sim card and on the phone itself. However, recently, whenever any of my contacts phone, all i get coming up is a number and not their name.
I had no problem with sending sms till I sent MMS once and it didn't work. The symbol of moving envelope just came up in the upper part of display and it didn't disappeared since. From that moment I cant send any SMS or MMS, I can receive them but not send. I tried to reset phone, change my sim but the problem is still the same - I cant send sms or mms and the symbol of envelope is still there. My memory isn't full and everything seems to be fine.
it possible to get a Series 40 (S40) handset, such as 6100 or 6700, to automatically sync over the air to cloud services such as Google? I know there are many ways to do this with S60 Symbian handsets (Mail for Exchange, various 3rd party apps) but not sure on the S40?
i recorded some audio from the FM radio, recording stops after every 2 minutes, recorded audio is playable on phone but whenever i connect it to my computer

Bought this peice of garbage Boost Rambler which worked 48 hours before going belly up, got it fixed (maybe, haven't been able to try it), now Boost won't allow it to be reactivated. That's a Boost problem. Selling a defective phone is a Motorola problem. A quality company would stand behind their purchasers.
I have a new EX 115 with sim cards from my US and my Belgian accounts. Both are shown on the screen, but all calls go immediately to voicemail. The phone never rings. What is going on and how do I fix it
When selecting a ringtone from the address menu | edit, it only lets me choose between mid1 to mid19. Where do you have to put mp3's to make them selectable as ringtones?
Is there any firmware update available for Motorola Ex 115? if yes, from where can I get it updated?
I am facing issues with messaging, whenever I forward a message to multiple users, only the first receipient gets it others get blank message. Bu, when I write a new message and send it to multiple receipient it just works fine. So, I think that the problem is with the software and I beleive that motorola might have fixed this issue in the firmware update.
Come on, this cell phone can't be any worse. I bought this thinking it was a cheap but realible phone. It looked good and I bought it.Now I come to see that I have big problems with it and nobody can give me an anwser beacause they have the same issues: You can´t asign SMS personal tones, and I´m sick of the Motorola defaults. It's not compatible to Motorola Phone Tools, making it almost imposible to sync contacts and all that other stuff (multimedia, calender, tasks, etc.)I have heard problems of SMS that cannot be fowarded (I´m writing down what I´ve heard)
IThe should make a firmware update and realease a new edition of MPT so the EX series is compatible.I've put down my compliants. If Motorola bothers to read this I hope they take this in consideration.
have an ex115 that i bought in the US. live inbetween US and Australia. i have called my provider in australia TPG(they use optus network) for settings. since phone not registered in australia they dont have correct settings. have given me generic motorola ones but cannot get them to work. have alos called motorla in australia a few times. they say that since not registered with them in australia the WAP setting will be different and cannot be changed.
My wife has just got a Motorola Gleam phone, also known as EX211 I think. If she gets an incoming call then it displays the number of the caller even if that number is in the Phonebook. I would expect, like every other phone I've ever seen, that it would display the associated name.
update the following things in S40 DP1.01- Option in messaging for "MY FOLDER" and option to delet msgs by marking.2- Option in music player to create playlist and adding songs in it like S40 5th edition series.3- Auto backup of created playlist while we change Memory card.4- Creation of a playlist of entire songs of a folder while we play songs from a folder like S40 5th Ed.In S40 DP1.0 plays that single song which we select to play. nokia add the above things and update in coming update version.
Just got my wife a Motorola Gleam and trying to set it up.First thing I need to do is transfer phonebook entries from her old phone or PC to the Gleam and can't see how to do this. I tried Motorola Phone Tools V5 and it didn't recognise the phone.
I bought a Motorola EX300 today. Struggling to understand the phone as there no manual (other than quick start) or software.Where i can get PDF version of full manual? Where can i get the PC suite software to sync address book and others with PC?
My daughter has a WX295 phone, with a micro SD cart in it.If we plug a usb connector into it from a windows 7 machine, the phone says "charging", the PC says nothing.
I have a one week old MOTO WX345 ans I am getting intermitten EMERGENCY messages on the display. Has anyone encountered the same message, and if so what is causing it?
I have tried to go through settings in the contacts list to save the numbers to the micro sd card but there is no option to do so. The phone does recognize the micro sd card and I have looked around and found nothing besides hooking it up directly to the computer but I don't want to go that route because I don't have the data cable and cant get one because where I am they don't deliver or sell the cable.
