Jul 15, 2011I have a one week old MOTO WX345 ans I am getting intermitten EMERGENCY messages on the display. Has anyone encountered the same message, and if so what is causing it?

Motorola W/WX Series :: Entice W766 'unauthorized Charger' Message
May 18, 2011I have been getting an "unauthorized charger" message lately when attempting to charge my phone. I'm using the charger that came with the phone. This is the second time I've encountered this issue with the Entice W766 and am wondering just how common the problem is. The first time I encountered the problem was a few months after I bought the phone. My phone went from holding a charge for 3 or 4 days to holding a charge for less than 24 hours. Verizon was able to reproduce the message in their store and, in the end, I ended up with a replacement phone. Fast forward to today, over a year later, and I'm having the same problem all over again... unauthorized charger... phone not holding a charge after most charges. I seem to get a good charge about one out of five tries. It's all Motorola branded gear.Better yet, is there a fix for it that doesn't involve going to the Verizon store and begging for a new phone?

However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft.
