My phone is a Motorola Electrified, I have an icon in the status bar in the very upper right hand corner next to the time that looks like a transparent folder with a check mark in the center of it. I have looked in the manual and it is not shown.
View 2 RepliesPhone: Nokia N900. Latest firmware update. My contact's online status indicators seem to have disappeared from the phone book view and from my contact short-cut icons on the desktop. I had the phone on and they were available when I switched it on, but at some point, they just disappeared. Please can someone explain what causes this and if there is anything I can do to solve it / prevent it, other than turning the phone off and on again.

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.

I've tranferred the files to both Mac and PC and neither have worked. View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

View 8 Replies View RelatedJust setup my new, (used) Droid 2. got everything to work except. I can NOT get the LED to light. I even let the battery run low, and on the droid 1, the led would blink, not this one.
Is there something that is known about this, or something I can change or test? Or, did I buy a Droid 2 with a faulty LED?
The WiFi and celluar signal icons will occasionally turn grey for a minute, and then go back to blue.I thought that this meant there was a loss of connectivity, however when the icons turn grey I can still connect to the Internet and the signal bars always indicate a strong signal when this happens. I suppose it's possible that connectivity was actually lost for a moment, and it may take the icons a few seconds to update back to the blue color again, hard to say.
View 9 Replies View RelatedReally poor day with the phone today. All day (motly midtown Manhattan) my phone was bouncing from 3G to 4G to white indicators. It was getting very hot. Tried power down, airplane mode, it was not staying connected to Google and chewing through the battery. I was in and out of areas with poor/no signal a few times but for the most part I was in a good signal area (3 bars). I was able to get calls and had three bars (even when the indicators were white) as I expected

When I turn wifi on, the little "3G" or "4G" symbol remains on, although it does turn white indicating no connection (I guess). View 1 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded a couple of different Ringtone apps, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to actually get the ringtones I want onto my phone. All I can find on this is to go through the Music app, but that doesn't see any of the ringtones from the apps. Are there certain ringtone apps that work only with the Electrify? The apps themselves don't appear to have a way to download. All I've been able to do is listen to the sound. I had a Samsung Galaxy before this and it was so easy for me to get ringtones. I'm really stumped with the Electrify.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got the C2-01 phone this past Thursday , purchased in Israel, and I don't have any status indicators on the home screen, just a blue question mark in a white square with a blue border, located a little to the left of center at the top of the screen. Any ideas what I can do about that? I already checked in the display menu and turned indicators on, and I already restored the phone to factory settings while keeping my personal info. I have not yet updated the software - the phone is running v. 11.20, but PC suite is busy right now and won't let me update.
