I got Mortplayer to play audio books because I could put the books in a folder that starts with a period (.AudioBooks) and Mortplayer would recognize it but the music app would ignore it.

I have a couple phones. Well, quite a few. It started when I could not download books to the Turbo. It just put an exclamation point in the title and says sorry, try again later. I try again later for several days, and nothing changes. On the other hand everything works fine on my other phones, and I can log into Amazon no problem. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kindle.
This is not a complete uninstall of course since Kindle is pre-installed and unless you root, you're stuck with it. But after I uninstalled the updates it still would not work. So I nuked from orbit by wiping the phone and reinstalling Kindle (well, updating the built-in version). Well, THAT changed it. Now it won't take the password. It allows me to CHANGE the password, and I did that. But even after changing it (successfully it said) and verifying that the new PW worked on another phone and on my laptop, it still won't take it. It says that username/password combination does not exist.
is there anyway to remove some of the bloatware like kindle books,ebooks nfl,and alot of the other stuff i don't use if i could would leave me more room to adds apps. that i can use
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have an issue using the "double space to insert period" option on the physical keyboard of my Droid 4, which was recently updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. This is the pegged down description.I want the virtual keyboard default to be Motorola's, not Swype. (Not a Swype fan, evidenced by my desire for a physical keyboard phone to begin with.) I also want the options of auto-correction and auto-capitalization turned off for my physical keyboard.I cleared out the cache/data settings for keyboards several times and tried many combos, and came to the following conclusion: If "Show word correction suggestions" for the Motorola virtual keyboard is on "always show" then I can double-space to insert a period and also have a space between that period and the next word. Everything works fine.
However, any other option besides "always show" means that the double-space/period simply will not work, and I have to put up with the suggestion box always popping up as I type with the physical keyboardFor now, I have to have show word suggestions to be always on as a temporary fix, though I hate it and want it turned off. Hopefully in time I can get the correct fix, which is why I have come here to see if anyone has any suggestions. Even if I've tried a route in the past, I will try it again this time around to doubly-ensure it will/won't fix the issue as we try to come to a proper solution.(P.S. I do not remember trying to use this option on Gingerbread, if it even existed. I just saw it on ICS after upgrading and figured it would be cool to have and ran with it.)
I haven't seen anything quite like this asked on the forum, but then again, I could just be missing it. Anyway, does anyone know the default download folder if you save a ringtone from a text sent from someone, like the Verizon site? I mounted the phone and it's no where on the SD Card. I also have a graphical interface app for the system folders and can't find it, but there are so many folders and no search feature. Anyone happen to know where a file would save by default? Reason being, it saved twice, so I have 2 copies on the list and I would also like to copy the file to another folder.

Recently my SD card got full while I was taking pictures, and so the new saved pictures were moved automatically to the internal memory. Now, each time I take a photo or a video, it is automatically saved to a "DCIM" folder in the device storage (the photos taken with the Facebook app are saved in the same folder too).Since the folder changed, I have problems with camera apps like the default camera app, the facebook camera app or the paper camera app. They freeze each time I try to take a picture.I also have a problem with the gallery app, which cannot upload (display?) the photos and videos I took anymore. It is refreshing, but nothing shows up.I would like to restore the default gallery folder in the SD card, so that each time I take a photo or a video, it is saved in my SD card.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo. When i throw my music into my music folder that appears after plugging my phone into the computer, i cant find it on my phone. I will either put MP3s directly into the "music" folder, or i will create another folder within the music player, name it after the band or album, and then put the mp3s into that newly created folder. Then upon rebooting my phone, the music doesn't appear in the music player application. Though if i do put music into my "downloads" folder i am able to find it, though with this method i am unable to organize the music at all.

Not sure if I'm missing a setting or what but my old Droid DNA synced just fine. I'm using the default email app on the phone. I've tried several of the book apps and all of them exhibit one big problem.
They turn the pages by themselves sometimes. Sometimes only a page or two sometimes 30 pages.
I've decided this isn't likely a problem with the book apps but with the Xoom itself more than likely. with books turning pages by themselves?
Is there any way to delete all the old deleted emails from the trash folder all at once or can it only be done one at a time?

I've had my 9700 for 3 months now and was wondering if it would be safe to pull the battery out of the 9700 and leave it in the house. Then re-insert the battery and begin normal usage as soon as I get back from the trip?
