Dec 30, 2011Is there a way to make the list of forum topics default to sort by last activity? I can't find this in the settings.

Dec 30, 2011Is there a way to make the new forum format remember my default settings? It seems, on no what computer or device I use, the forums can not remember the setting to sort the posts by latest activity.

Mar 28, 2012The phone was set up by the salesperson, and when I email off of Contacts, it defaults to Gmail. I don't use Gmail, but can find no where to change the default email account. Was this done during the set-up of Gmail? Do I need to delete the account and set it up again.

Aug 29, 2011I stopped receiving email notifications from the forum. I was getting so many a day and now not one. I thought they finally did shut down the forum haha,but see there are still numerous posts here. Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions? I have not changed anything on my phone and the website shows me still receiving them.

Jul 15, 2012I have to log in twice to get the this forum when clicking on a link in my email to a posted question.Once at main Motorola page then at forums page. (both share same login name & password.)Many times clicking on the link in email (mostly long ones) I go to an error page and end up digging up the post myself.Many times when I post a comment, the wait time between clicking to submit the post and the time it posts and releases the page is quite long.I use either stock browser or Chrome 3g or wifi all combos have the issues.I am wondering where I can find high usage times on the forum [ EST ] to see if some of this is due to my being on during high usage times.

Mar 1, 2012Right now on my Raza Maxx and even the Bionic the only two choices is First or Last name sort. I have a lot of Contact with only a First name sometimes as I use to have them sorted by Business. 90% of my Contacts are separate businesses. As I am a Packaging Service Consultant Service for Food Packaging. So I have the Contact of who I call when I go to the Plants. Is there a App that will sort them by business. I find it hard to believe that a Company the Size of Motorola or Google wouldn't have that choice. I guess the Blackberry in all its dreariness Trumps the Not So Smart Phone. It sometimes hard to remember who John H, Vs John S. when you deal with almost a hundred different Co. With some you don't talk to for a couple months or more.

In iTunes, there was an option to change the "sort artist name" so that an artist like The Beatles would appear alongside other bands starting with "b", rather than "t". Jul 30, 2012The problem is with the location identification (name). The address resolution can fall to a Range of addresses and blocks out the ability to use it im 1/2 mile increments at our work location. My phone appears to be accurate on gmaps to within 20 feet of my actual location. When I go to add the additional locations they all try to use the same app provided name. they are anywhere fromm 300 yards to one mile apart. Why can't it use a user defined name to stop the conflict? I have business uses for this if it is possilble. Like security guard tracking. The application finds the locations using GPS coordinates in place of addresses correctly but then converts to a street address thats not correct for a name...

The prior gmail account I was using is beginning to be inundated with spam and it has got to go.After searching I've found this: go to home. Click grid. Click all apps. Click email. Enter a new email, pop etc. There is no option for anything of the sort and from that point the grid button doesn't do anything. This makes very little sense.Is my phone permanently associated with that gmail account? Can I drop it and add a new account or not?

Mar 15, 2012Whenever I connect my Atrix 2 to my car stereo via bluetooth, DoubleTwist comes up and immediately starts playing the last album I happened to be playing on it. I have several music players installed, and would like to configure the phone so another is the default. Any way to do this? I've tried browsing to a music file and pressing it to bring up the "Complete action using..." dialog, but the app I want to use (PowerAMP) is not listed among the choices. Am I out of luck on this, or just restricted to those apps that show in the popup?

Sep 5, 2012The phone defaults to store everything on the internal storage instead of the SD card. I called Sprint, but they did not know a way. I cannot directly access the internal memory through the USB. Is there a way to make it store everything on the SD card?For instance I shoot video and it all goes into the internal memory. The only way I can get it onto my computer is to first move it to the SD card, then I can move it to my PC.

Oct 17, 2011I recently upgraded to GB, lost all my phone numbers in my contacts, but thankfully the special app worked and I retrieved them. I want to sync with gmail, but I must of choose the wrong default option, when you add a new one, it asks you gmail or motoblur, always use this choice.
I added a contact and it looks like its a motoblur contact, when I go into accounts motoblur has a lock symbol next to it (odd).
anyhow to the questions:
1) How do I change add contacts to use gmail, now that I do not have a choice when adding new contacts.
2) Is there a qucik guide to remote wipe.
3) Someone mentioned they used motoblur to find their phone, how can I do that?
4) How often does my contacts/books etc sync with gmail, can you increase/decrease it?

I have a droid bionic and whenever I download a file to my phones memory, it stores it in the zumocast folder on my internal mempory. I'd like to be able to store it on the external sd card.
