View 1 RepliesI typically use my phone on speakerphone when having a phone conversation. It's just easier to hold and talk with it in my hand in front of my body or else I set the phone on my desk. My screen time out is set to two minutes, so after I've talked for a couple of minutes my screen goes black. Then, when I'm ready to say good-bye, I can't figure out how to get back to the phone active screen! If I were holding it to my head it would automatically go to the phone screen, but when on speaker it doesn't. As a result I usually wait for the other party to hang up the phone. Tapping the power button doesn't do it.
How to I return to the phone screen after my screen has timed out and I'm on speakerphone?
Any apps for the turbo that would provide Wi-Fi calling? I found two in the play store, but don't know anything about them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo. I work in the city so there are cell towers everywhere but my office is in the middle of a building and I have no windows. My calls get dropped or cut in and out unless I turn off the advanced call feature. Other people with different phones have no problems in my office. Can I leave this feature off all the time? The one day I did leave it off and I was not at work and I tried to make a call and got a message saying the call could not connect so I don't know if it will create other problems. I usually have two bars in my office and 4G lte. We have Wi-Fi but are not allowed to use it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to Lollipop, my Turbo shows a notification "Video calling has been added" every time I turn off airplane mode. How do I get rid of this?
This is the same notification that appeared (correctly) when this feature was introduced a while ago, and after you went into Settings to enable this, it wouldn't appear again.
I don't like the feature of being able to wave my hand across the lock screen and the screen turns back on, showing alerts etc... How can I turn this off?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMore recently, my droid turbo has been turning rainbow colors instead of black with the time when it's charging. If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a brand new 950XL from EE online hoping to get the wifi calling feature. To be clear it has never been advertised as having wifi calling but the older crapper 640 has it so it can work with a Nokia/Microsoft handset.
Brilliant I thought as I managed to turn it on and and use it when the phone arrived! I even got a text from EE confirming that it was turned on!
Then a sim update arrived lie it quite often does with a new phone and turned the option off in Settings, Network & Wireless, Mobile & Sim, Sim Settings. Now there is no way to turn it on.
So I reset again (4th time now!) thinking I may have triggered the update myself and got the wifi calling back again only to have another sim update and no wifi calling again!
Anyway, after two more phone calls to EE they have now told me that the handset is not compatible with wifi calling and they don't know if it ever will be! Which is bollocks as it has and does work as I have proved. They have turned it off with their sim update.
I opted for Neo V because it had front facing camera for video calling. But after my purchase i came to know that the sony store guy fooled me. After the complaint against him I was being told from the Sony store that the ICS update would include the video calling facility through our operator networks. But, after the update to ICS i came to know that the feature is still missing. So, are the xperia phone getting the video calling feature or not?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever I send an MMS to multiple people at the same time, it seems to create some sort of group conversation in which everyone can see everyone elses reply and text messages. This is really annoying!! I had a Droid 3 before I exchanged it for an X2, and I'm pretty sure you were able to turn it off within the messaging app's settings menu. However, that option seems to be missing on the X2?

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen you recieve a text and press the menu button, there is a an option to "call". If you select call you get a popup window with that contacts phone numbers. The bug is that all of them are listed as "other", instead of "home", "mobile", "work".This is on MB810.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI miss the ability to push the top wake button and be able to slide slider over to move from Vibrate to Ring like I used to be able to with my Droid X and Droid D1. You can only switch from Ring to Vibrate that way now.
View 5 Replies View RelatedTook away the wonderful feature of the stock alarm starting out at low volume and increasing to full volume....I want it back! The wonderfully useful & simple Sticky Note, and the neat & simple Weather widget, and I just discovered the Alarm-Timer is now just an alarm (no timer) and is without the increasing volume feature, they are all gone in JB.

View 13 Replies View RelatedVideo calling with Skype appears not to work on my Droid Razr? I can see them, but they can't see me. A pitch black box appears as my video.
I bought the Razr specifically for video calling, my husband lives overseas!
I want to take full advantage of HD video camera on my Droid Turbo, and found an external lavalier lapel microphone (Audio Technica 3350iS, which comes with an adapter for "smartphones including iPhone and newer Android phones"). But even when I use the adapter, the video recorder will only use the phone's on board mic. How can I disable/mute the onboard mic? Scoured the interweb, and at one point there was a perfect app "Mute Mic", but the NSA or Google or Motorola decided it was too useful to live.
View 3 Replies View RelatedA while back, I downloaded Google Calendar 5.2. That obviously created duplicate calendars (stock and 5.2). Any reminder or event added to the newer calendar showed up on the older one. I had hoped that with various updates, the old calendar would be removed. How can I get rid of the old calendar?

View 24 Replies View RelatedAfter doing recent updates, the normal swipe-to-unlock feature of my Bionic stopped working. When I press the power button, I'm taken right to the home screen; I don't have to unlock. Even if I use Settings -> Location & Security and add a PIN or pattern lock, these do not work; each time I turn the phone back on, I go right back to the home. Sometimes the swipe screen flashes up but then disappears. The "Security lock timer" setting does not matter (i.e. it is set to 1 minute, but even after that, the phone is never locked. Occurs even after a hard reboot (shutdown, remove battery, power back up), although sometimes the swipe to unlock works for a short time. I've never rooted this phone or done much else beside install some apps from the Android Market. I do have Lookout running.

How do I delete the "no name" contacts all at once. I have hundreds. I don't want to do it individually.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got several texts from a couple of my contacts and another one that I don't know. They said "New MMS message to download: size 1KB, expires on 3/21, 8:54 PM." If i click download, it attempts to download it but fails. I'm using Hangouts, I haven't given my phone number out recently, and if it matters I'm using a beta test version of Nova.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAny way to increase (and maintain) a louder volume from the speaker while using speakerphone or Bluetooth speaker? My Maxx was awesome!! I thought for sure when I got the Turbo it would be equivalent.
I often find myself disappointed in the output. The really strange part is that I swear that it changes somehow. One phone call on speakerphone is great. Same number calls back later and not so much! I didn't change anything. I then try to increase my volume to no avail. My Bluetooth does that as well watching a YouTube video. I can start the video nice and loud. Stop it for a bit to return later and I can't hear the dang thing.
I use all factory Android software without any additional apps, etc. for volume controls. All levels are set to high. No droppage or any damage to the speaker or phone.
I used to be able to just use the side volume control and turn it all down and it would mute the ringer but allow notifications for texts and emails. That, suddenly has gone. I have tried everything I can think of to do. Setting priorities does nothing. The moment that the ringer turns off, the vibration icon grays out. I get it back if I turn the ringer to its lowest setting but I do not want that. At work, having just the vibration running for calls and texts was perfect.
