View 4 RepliesI have noticed that the searching location comes on and stays on even when location is turned off the only way I can stop is by turning location on then back of again. How do I fix that?
View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I have had this phone (Since the first day it was available) I have never really had a great experience with the GPS on this phone. The problem is very random, basically at some point I will try to use a app that uses a GPS location like Gas Buddy and it will report a location from hours or days previous. Most of the time I can turn off the GPS and turn it on and it will work. But some times I need to reboot the phone. In addition to the that problem if I am using Google navigation, Telnav or Waze it will make a look and start navigating then states it lost GPS and it never gets it back. At that point I have to reboot the phone as nothing else will work to resolve the problem.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAll the time. Every time I look at my phone it's searching and finding location. I guess I don't mind so much it's finding me but if I readjust my **** in chair as I watch TV... It has to tell me it's finding my new location. If it has to, it has to but I don't need a notification every 10 seconds telling me about it.

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy Turbo phone GPS location on several apps is showing him in Atlanta Ga and not in Pa. I swapped out several times and the SIM. My other devices don’t have the issue. It started as soon as I swapped out the device.
View 2 Replies View Relatedfor some reason every few minutes i get the location icon flashing up in the top left of the notification bar. there is always the location icon on the right hand side which i believe is normal but i've never had the one on the left before.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSince updated to Google Play Services 7.xxx I just realized this. As screenshot attached, my device shows up as 2 devices. How to remove device at the bottom?
Had already dig in on Google Dashboard, delete here and there, no luck.
I've been tempted to turn off location history on my phone for various reasons (privacy, battery, etc.), but it says that it will affect Google Now. I'm not willing to lose Google Now, so I'm wondering: What effect on Google Now will I see if I turn off Location History?
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor almost 2 weeks, my settings option has been useless. It keeps force closing. See attached picture.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIdeally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
I just got my Droid Turbo, and while I was setting it up I vaguely remember seeing a settings screen for the command center widget. I didn't really understand yet what the command center was at that time, so I didn't change any of the settings. Now, however, I'm trying to get back to see what setting changes are possible and for the life of me can't figure out how to get to the settings screen.
When I tap on an open area of the command center near the top left (right under where the target GPS icon is displayed), a screen opens up for a VERY BRIEF quarter of a second and the top says "Command Center", as if that is going to open the settings screen. But then it immediately changes to the weather detail screen.
how do I get back to it?
This may or may not be a Turbo-only issue, same qualifier for Lollipop as well. But, it is noticed, so I ask.
When I put an event on the stock Google Calendar, I specifically have my settings to say NO notifications. I look at the event when created and it has NO notifications. Yet 10 minutes before the event like clockwork, boom, notification.
I'm going to go into the desktop version of Calendar and see what I can do there, but this notification stuff is annoying.
Where is spell check setting on droid turbo?

View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving an issue with the pull down to refresh on Google Now? I've tried it with stock launcher and with Nova Launcher to no avail. It does work with Google Now Launcher, but that defeats the customization of Nova (and I don't like the persistent Google Search Bar).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got the new Droid Turbo, and on the google now widget there was driving info .. time to home, traffic etc .. and I was navigating it and slid the box to the side. this deleted it from the app and I would like to restore it but don't know how.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Turbo, and on both KitKat and Lollipop you have to change volume settings separately. I'm always turning down my volume, just to get a full blast text alert that startles me right out of my seat. On previous phones (including other Motorola droids) all notification volume settings were linked and changed as one. Why is that not a thing anymore? How does that not just make the most sense? I know there are apps out there that could do this, but I don't want to have to download another app to simplify something that should be simple in the first place.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been told by Verizon and by Motorola that I need to do a factory reset. (Moto Approach stopped working yesterday and we can't get it to start again.)
Before doing that, is there any way to backup my folder settings (which apps are grouped together in which folders on my home screens)
I just finished installing the update and everything seems great but is there any way to change the Google bar at the top of the home screen? I liked it when it was transparent and I would love to have it like that again or even just take it off.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI just got a droid turbo and when i ask it to do anything by voice it first comes back saying"opening google". An example would be i would say my launch phrase ok google now navigate to 123 main street and it would respond back "OPENING GOOGLE navigating to 123 main street". How do i stop it from saying OPENING GOOGLE every time prior to it performing the task i ask it to do. The TALK BACK function is OFF on my phone and it still does it. Also how am i able to ask it to perform a function from ANY screen. That launch phrase only works on one screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my Razr M most of my music was Windows Media format on an sd card and Google Play Music played it with no problems. Well today I put my music on my Turbo but now Google Play won't even recognize any music that's not mp3. Why did it play fine on the old phone? And is there any way to get it to play on the Turbo or do I have to reformat all my music or get another music player?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there not a way to remove the horizontal Google search bar from all, or even some of my screens? All the other widgets and items on our main screens can be long pressed and removed, but this one just opens no matter how I press it.
It is odd because there is an option to add it as it is showing with the other widgets in the widget menu, but no way to remove it. I just find it an annoyance that you can't move it or delete it. I had the same search bar on my S3 and could delete it.
So I usually DO NOT have the Google search bar widget that stays at the top of all of my home screens but now it's there. Not only that but it is unresponsive, I can't type in it, the mic doesn't respond, it's there but not working and I don't want it to begin with. My phone did a bunch of updates today, I wonder if some update messed it up. It has moforoot and KitKat....
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a droid Maxx turbo and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the white Google search bar strip at the top of every screen the home screen and any other screen you slide over to because I like to use pictures from my wallpaper and the white bar gets in the way of some of the pictures I put up...
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever i voice ask my Droid Turbo to do something verbally it will come back FIRST by saying "connecting to google" then it will begin performing whatever task i have asked it. Example: i would say "whats up google now navigate to 123 main street Oceanside": and it will come back with a VERBAL reply "connecting to google" "navigating to 123 main street Oceanside" How do i PREVENT and STOP it from verbally replying EVERYTIME i ask a question before beginning my task by my phone giving a verbal "connecting to google" Its very annoying and in my mind an unnecessary response for the phone to always be saying.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Droid Turbo. I have never locked the phone. I downloaded ANDROID PAY app last night. It required a screen lock to secure credit card. I agreed and set up a pattern screen lock. I got tired of unlocking phone every time. I went to disable the screen lock and I am NOT ABLE to do that. The security settings for NONE and SWIPE have been grayed out and are no longer an option. I have removed ANDROID PAY and still have issue.
