i know that it´s a little stupidity, but can anyone provide me the ringtones from Q9h??the cause is, i flashed my phone with W.M6.1 and i didn´t make a backup, so anyone can give me this ringtones?

1. call: select Breeze melody in Sound section of the Settings.
2. SMS: select Sinus melody in Sound section of the Settings.
That's all.After several calls sound settings change:
1. call: automatically select f..king Tonga ringtone in Sound section of the Settings.
2. SMS: automatically select Notification ringtone in Sound section of the Settings.No matter what ringtones to choose from. They are always changing to Tonga and Notification.What can I do?

Each time I sync my 5800 NAM Xpressmusic with Ovi Suite, it resets all ringtones for either groups or individuals. I am not synchronizing all items. I am only synchronizing Contacts, Messaging, Calendar and Notes.

Just got a 6350. I know that there are probably lots of places where I can download ringtones. However, I wanted to mention that I am unhappy with the limited number of default ringtones (about 12). Even my 5 year old Nokia had more choices.
Additionally, all the options play music. There is nothing that is less annoying / more professional sounding. Just a simple ring or beep sequence. So, I'm just learning. Please point me at a good place to download non-song ring tones for this phone. I'm on AT&T if that's an issue.
They seem to have become lost after an update crash. They appear to be still on the phone as the alerts in use at the time continue to function but are inaccessible to change and if changed for an imported ringtone can not be restored.How to restore them?
Edit: Ringtone folder on device is empty.
I have accidentally deleted my ringtones that came on the phone.How can I get them all back? By the way -- I don't have my USB to connect the BB to the computer. But I can take the mem card out and put it in my computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI hate things like facebook and twitter however my desire hd sim free came with several apps installed i.e default ones.I have downloaded god knows how many file managers that let you uninstall apps however not yet found one that will let you uninstall the default ones. My second problem is that i am trying to delete the ringtones on the internal memory and also add my own to the list as it appears that you can only assign individualy ring tones to contacts that are the default tones is this correct? I can locate the files however the phone will not let me delete them add to them or modify them what so ever. Managed to now add ringtones to the default set so i can now use my own for individual contacts, just not managed to delete the default ones. I have just found something even more annoying the phone wont let me use my own text message alert i have stored on my phone anyone found a ay round this rather than using one from the net that the phone will let you download?i have also tried doing it via plugging it into my pc however it wont let you view the system files even by changing option to view system files under windows it will only allow viewing of the sd card.

I get my ringtones from myxer.com and mytinyphone and sites such as that. When I set any of these ringtones i download as my sms alert or phone call ringtone, it just uses the default ringtone. So I checked to see if I saved my ringtone settings. Sure enough I did. So I tried turning my phone off and back on, and my ringtone settings just get reset back to default. When I had my 2 gig microsd in it was doing the same thing, but after a couple days it was using the ringtones I set for it. I just put an 8 gig microsd in and there's no hope.

I guess this situation accured after I erased everything on my iPhone and installed backup from my computer. I searched everywhere on internet but couldn't find anything, and then this idea came up; I deleted all the assigned rigntones, created a new backup on my computer then deleted all contacts and installed the backup but still when I assign a ringtone to a specific contact it's still ringing default ringtone when she calls.. Btw I also checked for duplication errors, there is only one for each contact..

I want to get some ringtones from AT&T and use them as ringer IDs on the phone but can't find the one I downloaded. I have tried it a bunch of different ways. The easiest way that I found was to use the free ringtone tool at mobilespin's website. It's actually starting to get annoying. what is happening is the downloaded ringtones that i have had for about 4 phones now are not working correctly, but thats not the weird part. the thing is its only for CALLS, and thats it. Any kind of phone call ringtone (default or contact) is not working after about half a day of being unplugged from the charger, and the only way to correct this is restart the phone. is anyone else having this problem? It also seems it does it to the ringtones that came with the phone, but just phone calls. TXT, facebook

I know how to change the ringtones for individual contacts. My problem is some of them will not change from default. I am not trying to do anything drastic, and I have not rooted my phone. I am using the ringtones provided built into the phone.
I do not know how long this has been an issue. I just tried last night to change one contact's ringtone and it would not move from default. I went through my phone randomly picking contacts that were all listed as default. Some would change, others would not.
I accidentally hit "Use as ringtone" while listening to a song in the music player. I set my ringtone back to what I used before, but how to do I get my song out of the list of ringtones? Anybody know if there's a file I can find and delete?

I assumed this was done in Settings->Sound->Default notification, but texts still come in with the original factory default tone. This is not good since I have so much trouble hearing the tone and subsequently miss texts. Do you have to set the tone and restart the phone? I've had a similar problem with ringtones as well. You set a custom ringtone for a contact, it acknowledges that the tone is set, but the tone that's played for the contact is the default. I'm honestly starting to regret getting this phone. I'm running the most recent firmware for the Photon Q 4G LTE (7.7.1Q-6_SPR-125_ASA-10). Unfortunately, the issue existed prior to the update and is still a problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Razr got upgraded to ICS this morning. Now I have no ringer. Yes silent mode is off and volume is turned all the way up. If I go to 'system setting', 'sound' and try to change the 'phone ringtone' or 'default notification', the get the message "Activity Android System is not responding". I was able to turn on "Vibrate and ring", so at least I'm getting vibation, but no ringtone.
